Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drain assembly for a cistern, with a drain valve housing in which a valve body which can be raised to trigger a flush is mounted and which is to be fastened to the bottom of the cistern, with an actuating device which has at least one actuating means arranged on a cistern lid, which for Opening the drain valve cooperates with a control means arranged below the cistern cover, and with a connecting member connected to the drain valve housing.
  • a drain fitting of this type has become known from the applicant's EP 0 479 716 A.
  • This has a yoke that connects the drain valve housing to the actuating device.
  • the yoke has two arms projecting downwards, which are fastened to it by means of latching tongues arranged on the drain valve housing.
  • the yoke can be attached to the drain valve housing at different heights, so that it can be adapted to different distances between the cistern lid and the tank bottom. Such different distances occur particularly in ceramic cisterns.
  • the adjustment of the yoke to different heights is comparatively complex here.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a drain fitting of the type mentioned, which enables easier height adjustment.
  • the object is achieved according to claim 1.
