Abstract

Es gibt ein Verfahren, bei dem ein Papierblätter 6 aufweisendes Buch in einen Behandlungskessel 1 gebracht wird, bei dem dann die Papierblätter zunächst vorbehandelt werden, bei dem sodann die Papierblätter mit einem Wassermedium/Luft-Gemisch 11 behandelt werden und mit einem Wirkstoff/Luft-Gemisch 12 beblasen werden und bei dem dann die Papierblätter nachbehandelt werden und bei dem dann die Papierblätter nachbehandelt werden. Dabei ist es erwünscht, wenn die aufgrund des Wirkstoffs und des Wassermediums an bzw. in den Papierblättern ablaufenden Vorgänge beschleunigt gestaltet sind und durch hohe Temperaturen bedingte Beschädigungen der Papierblätter vermieden sind. Dies ist erreicht, indem die Papierblätter 6 zunächst bei Unterdruck mit einem Wassertropfen/Luft-Gemisch 11, dann bei Überdruck mit dem Wirkstoff/Luft-Gemisch 12 und dann bei Überdruck erneut mit einem Wassertropfen/Luft-Gemisch 11 beblasen werden. Da dem Aufbringen des Wirkstoffs ein Aufbringen von Wassertropfen vorhergeht und dem Aufbringen von Wirkstoff ein Aufbringen von Wassertropfen folgt, sind die aufgrund des Wirkstoffs und der Wassertropfen an bzw. in den Papierblättern ablaufenden Vorgänge hinsichtlich Eintretens des Wirkstoffs in das Papier, Ingangsetzens des Entsäuerns und Ablaufens des Entsäuerns beschleunigt.
