Abstract
La présente demande concerne une composition cosmétique moussante destinée à être ajoutée au bain et comprenant dans un milieu aqueux cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins :
- (a) 18 à 50% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition, d'un lauryl éther sulfate de sodium, de potassium, de magnésium, d'ammonium, de triéthanolamine ou d'isopropanolamine ou un mélange de ceux-ci ;
- (b) 0,01 à 2% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition d'un agent de viscosité choisi parmi (i) les alcanolamides, (ii) les alcools-ou-éthers d'alcools-ou esters, gras polyoxyéthylénés comportant de 30 à 200 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène, sous réserve que ladite composition soit exempte d'agent tensioactif amphotère ou cationique.
Description
- La présente invention a trait à une composition cosmétique moussante pour le bain comprenant dans un milieu aqueux cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins : de 18 à 50% en poids d'un lauryl éther sulfate de sodium, de potassium, de magnésium, d'ammonium, de triéthanolamine ou d'isopropanolamine ou un mélange de ceux-ci, et de 0,01 à 2% en poids d'un agent de viscosité choisi parmi (i) les alcanolamides, (ii) les alcools-ou-éthers d'alcools-ou esters, gras polyoxyéthylénés comportant de 30 à 200 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène, sous réserve que ladite composition soit exempte d'agent tensioactif amphotère ou cationique.
- Il est connu d'additionner à l'eau d'un bain, des produits cosmétiques destinés à faire mousser le bain. De tels produits sont généralement appelés "bains moussants".
Pour satisfaire le consommateur, les bains moussants doivent permettre d'obtenir un volume de mousse important, et la mousse doit pouvoir durer, tout en chutant le moins possible, pendant toute la durée du bain, c'est à dire le plus couramment pendant 20 minutes. - Or la plupart des bains moussants jusqu'ici connus offrent un volume de mousse satisfaisant au début du bain mais ne permettent généralement pas de maintenir un volume de mousse satisfaisant après environ 20 minutes de bain. La hauteur de la mousse dans le bain diminue trop rapidement et la mousse finit par disparaître vers la fin du bain.
- Les bains moussants les plus couramment utilisés jusqu'ici renferment des associations de tensioactifs anioniques et notamment de lauryl éther sulfate avec des tensioactifs amphotères ou cationiques. Ce type de bain moussant ne résout pas de façon tout à fait satisfaisante le problème de la durabilité de la mousse au cours du bain.
- La présente invention a pour but de résoudre le problème évoqué ci-dessus.
- La Demanderesse a maintenant découvert de façon surprenante de nouvelles compositions pour bain moussant permettant d'obtenir une hauteur de mousse importante et suffisamment durable pendant toute la durée du bain. En outre, la mousse produite par ladite composition est douce, onctueuse, aisément rinçable, non collante et bien tolérée par la peau.
- Cette découverte est à la base de la présente invention.
- La présente invention a donc pour objet une composition cosmétique moussante pour le bain comprenant dans un milieu aqueux cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins :
- (a) 18 à 50% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition, d'un lauryl éther sulfate de sodium, de potassium, de magnésium, d'ammonium, de triéthanolamine ou de d'isopropanolamine ou un mélange de ceux-ci ;
- (b) 0,01 à 2% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition d'un agent de viscosité choisi parmi (i) les alcanolamides, (ii) les alcools-ou-éthers d'alcools-ou esters, gras polyoxyéthylénés comportant de 30 à 200 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène,
- Dans la composition conforme à l'invention, le lauryl éther sulfate de sodium, de potassium, de magnésium, d'ammonium, de triéthanolamine ou de d'isopropanolamine ou les mélanges de ceux-ci sont de préférence présents en une quantité allant de 18 à 35% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition.
Selon la présente invention, on préfère avantageusement utiliser le lauryl éther sulfate de sodium. - Dans la composition conforme à l'invention, l'agent de viscosité est de préférence présent dans des concentrations allant de 0,1 à 1,5% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition.
- Parmi les alcools gras polyoxyéthylénés comportant de 30 à 200 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène, on peut notamment citer : l'alcool cétylique oxyéthyléné (30 OE) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination NIKKOL BC-30TX t® par la société Nikkol, l'alcool oléylique oxyéthyléné (50 OE) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination NIKKOL BO-50® par la société Nikkol, l'alcool béhénylique oxyéthyléné (30 OE) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination NIKKOL BB-30® par la société Nikkol, l'alcool stéarylique oxyéthyléné (100 OE) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination BRIJ 700® par la société Uniquema.
- Parmi les éthers d'alcools gras polyoxyéthylénés comportant de 30 à 200 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène, on préfère utiliser notamment les composés de formule générale R-(OCH2CH2)n―OR', pour laquelle, R désigne un radical alkyle en C10-C30, R' désigne un radical alkyle en C10-C30 substitué par un radical hydroxyle, et n est un nombre entier allant de 30 à environ 100. Un composé de ce type plus particulièrement préféré est vendu sous la dénomination ELFACOS GT 282 S® par la société AKZO; c'est un composé de formule R-(OCH2CH2)n-OR' où R désigne un radical alkyle en C16-C18 , R' désigne le radical alkyle C14OH, et n est égal à 60, plus couramment connu sous la dénomination du Dictionnaire C.T.F.A. sous l'appellation CETEARETH 60 MYRISTYL GLYCOL ou encore HYDROGENATED TALLOWETH 60 MYRISTYL GLYCOL.
- Parmi les esters gras polyoxyéthylénés comportant de 30 à 200 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène, on peut notamment citer le PEG-150 dibehenate (appellation CTFA) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination ETHOX PEG 6000 Dibehenate® par la société Ethox, le palmito-stéarate de polyéthylène glycol (120 OE) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination STEARATE 6000 WL 1644® par la société Gattefosse, le stéarate de polyéthylène glycol (40 OE) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination MYRJ 52® par la société Uniquema. On préfère plus particulièrement utiliser le distéarate de polyéthylène glycol 150 OE ( appellation CTFA : PEG-150 distearate) vendu par exemple par la société AKZO sous la dénomination KESSCO PEG 6000 DS®, par la société UNIQUEMA sous la dénomination ATLAS G-1821 V®, ou par la société CP HALL COMPANY sous la dénomination EMULVIS®.
- Parmi les alcanolamides, on peut citer notamment le COCAMIDE MIPA (appellation CTFA) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination EMPILAN CIS® par la société ALBRIGHT & WILSON, ou sous la dénomination REWOMID V3202® par la société GOLDSCHMIDT, le mélange de MYRISTAMIDE MEA et de LAURAMIDE MEA (appellations CTFA) tel que le produit commercialisé sous la dénomination NINOL LMP® par la société STEPAN. On préfère plus particulièrement utiliser la monoéthanolamide d'acides gras de coprah (appellation CTFA : COCAMIDE MEA) vendu par exemple par la société COGNIS sous la dénomination COMPERLAN 100®.
- Le milieu aqueux cosmétiquement acceptable de la composition conforme à l'invention est généralement constitué par de l'eau ou par un mélange d'eau et d'au moins un solvant organique. A titre de solvant organique, on peut utiliser les polyols comme le propylène glycol, la glycérine, l'hexylène glycol, l'isoprène glycol, le néopentyl glycol, les polyéthylène glycols ou les éthers de polyols. On préfère plus particulièrement utiliser un mélange de glycérine, et d'hexylène glycol.
Les solvants peuvent être présents dans des proportions de préférence comprises entre 0 et 20 % en poids environ par rapport au poids total de la composition, et encore plus préférentiellement entre 1 et 5 % en poids environ. - La composition conforme à l'invention comprend de préférence en outre au moins un adjuvant choisi parmi les agents opacifiants, les agents épaississsants, les agents conditionneurs de la peau tels que les huiles végétales ou minérales, ou les cires et les céramides, ou les polymères cationiques ou amphotères, ou les silicones, les humectants tel que le sorbitol, les agents conservateurs, les agents de pH, les agents séquestrants, les colorants, les parfums et les peptisants de parfums.
- Le pH de la composition conforme à l'invention est généralement ajusté aux environs de 4,5 à 7,5 au moyen d'agents acidifiants ou alcalinisants bien connus de la technique en cosmétique.
Parmi les agents alcalinisants on peut citer, à titre d'exemple, l'ammoniaque, les carbonates alcalins, les alcanolamines telles que les mono-, di- et triéthanolamines ainsi que leurs dérivés, les hydroxyalkylamines et les ethylènediamines oxyéthylénées et/ou oxypropylénées, les hydroxydes de sodium ou de potassium et les composés de formule suivante :
Les agents acidifiants sont classiquement, à titre d'exemple, des acides organiques ou minéraux dont on préfère plus particulièrement l'acide citrique, l'acide tartrique, ou l'acide lactique. - Parmi les agents opacifiants utilisables dans la composition conforme à l'invention, on peut citer par exemple les alcools gras à chaîne longue, les esters gras de polyol et les diéthers gras comme par exemple le distéaryl éther, bien connus de l'homme de l'art. On préfère notamment utiliser selon l'invention, le mélange aqueux de copolymère styrène/acrylate de sodium, lauryl sulfate de sodium, sorbate de potassium, polyéthylène glycol (7 OE) éther d'alcool tridécylique (appellation CTFA Trideceth-7) vendu sous la dénomination OPACIFIER 680® par la société ROHM & HAAS.
- Parmi les agents épaississants, on peut citer notamment les épaississants cellulosiques non ioniques (hydroxyéthycellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose), les acides polyacryliques réticulés vendus sous la dénomination CARBOPOL®, et les polymères épaississants associatifs anioniques, non ioniques, cationiques ou amphotères comportant au moins une chaîne grasse; on peut également citer le chlorure de sodium que l'on préfère plus particulièrement utiliser dans la proportion de 1 à 2% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition.
- Bien entendu, l'homme de l'art veillera à choisir ce ou ces éventuels composés complémentaires de manière telle que les propriétés avantageuses attachées intrinsèquement à la composition conforme à l'invention ne soient pas, ou substantiellement pas, altérées par la ou les adjonctions envisagées.
- Un autre objet de la présente invention a trait à une composition cosmétique moussante pour le bain, comprenant dans un milieu aqueux cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins : de 18 à 35% d'un lauryl éther sulfate de sodium, de 0,1 à 1,5% de monoéthanolamide d'acides gras de coprah, de 1 à 5% d'un mélange de glycérine et d'hexylène glycol, de 1 à 2% de chlorure de sodium, les quantités étant exprimées en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition, ladite composition étant exempte d'agent tensioactif amphotère ou cationique.
- La composition conforme à l'invention se présente de préférence sous la forme de liquide épaissi conditionné en flacon.
- L'exemple suivant illustre l'invention sans présenter un caractère limitatif.
- On a préparé la composition pour bain moussant suivante :
(teneurs exprimées en grammes de matière active) Lauryl éther sulfate de sodium 21 Cocamide MEA 1 Glycérine 1 Hexylène glycol 1 Chlorure de sodium 1,8 Agent opacifiant (Opacifier 680 vendu par la société ROHM & HAAS 0,7 Acide citrique 0,7 Parfum, colorant, conservateur q..s. Eau déminéralisée q.s.p 100 - Avec le bain moussant ainsi réalisé, on a pu constaté une hauteur de mousse importante de l'ordre de 18 cm au temps zéro et ne chutant que d'environ 20% de sa valeur après 20 minutes, alors que les compositions pour bain moussant de l'art antérieur engendrent généralement une mousse dont la hauteur chute au bout du même temps, d'environ 40% de sa valeur.
Claims (13)
- Composition cosmétique moussante pour le bain, comprenant dans un milieu aqueux cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins :- (a) de 18 à 50% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition, d'un lauryl éther sulfate de sodium, de potassium, de magnésium, d'ammonium, de triéthanolamine ou d'isopropanolamine ou un mélange de ceux-ci ;- (b) de 0,01 à 2% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition d'un agent de viscosité choisi parmi (i) les alcanolamides, (ii) les alcools-ou-éthers d'alcools-ou esters, gras polyoxyéthylénés comportant de 30 à 200 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène,sous réserve que ladite composition soit exempte d'agent tensioactif amphotère ou cationique.
- Composition selon la revendication 1, caractérisée par le fait que le lauryl éther sulfate est présent dans des concentrations allant de 18 à 35% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition.
- Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 2, caractérisée par le fait que l'agent de viscosité est présent dans des concentrations allant de 0,1 à 1,5% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition.
- Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait que l'alcanolamide est la monoéthanolamide d'acides gras de coprah.
- Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait que le lauryl éther sulfate est un lauryl éther sulfate de sodium.
- Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait que le milieu aqueux comprend de 0 à 20% et de préférence de 1 à 5% en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition, d'un solvant organique.
- Composition selon la revendication 6, caractérisée par le fait que solvant est un mélange de glycérine, et d'hexylène glycol.
- Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend au moins un adjuvant choisi parmi les agents opacifiants, les agents épaississsants, les agents conditionneurs de la peau, les humectants, les agents conservateurs, les agents de pH, les agents séquestrants, les colorants, les parfums et les peptisants de parfums.
- Composition selon la revendication 8, caractérisée par le fait que l'agent épaississant est le chlorure de sodium.
- Composition selon la revendication 8, caractérisée par le fait que l'agent opacifiant est un mélange aqueux de copolymère styrène/acrylate de sodium, de lauryl sulfate de sodium, de sorbate de potassium et de polyéthylèneglycol (7 OE) éther d'alcool tridécylique.
- Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait que le pH de la composition est compris entre 4,5 et 7,5.
- Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle se présente sous la forme d'un liquide épaissi conditionné en flacon.
- Composition cosmétique moussante pour le bain, comprenant dans un milieu aqueux cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins : de 18 à 35% d'un lauryl éther sulfate de sodium, de 0,1 à 1,5% de monoéthanolamide d'acides gras de coprah, de 1 à 5% d'un mélange de glycérine et d'hexylène glycol, de 1 à 2% de chlorure de sodium, les quantités étant exprimées en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition, ladite composition étant exempte d'agent tensioactif amphotère ou cationique.
