Abstract

Figure 00000001
The invention relates to a refractory spout (1) for arrangement in or on a wall of a metallurgical vessel (3), in particular for molten steel, with a flow opening (2) and a flow pipe surrounding the flow opening, the flow pipe having a surface delimiting the flow opening and a has outer housing. In order to improve the solutions known from the prior art, the spout is characterized in that the flow tube has an upper part (10) and a lower part (6), that the surface of the upper part (10) delimiting the flow opening (2) consists of a different material is formed than the surface of the lower part (6) delimiting the flow opening (2) and that the lower part (6) is fixed in or on the upper part (10) or characterized in that the flow tube has an upper part (10) and a Lower part (6) has that the lower part (6) is fixed on or in the upper part (10) and that the diameter of the flow opening (2) in the upper part (10) is larger than in the lower part (6).
