Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour régler un certain nombre de paramètres dans un appareil (10) d'imagerie aux rayons X pour examens mammographiques récurrents. Ledit appareil comprend au moins une source (11) de rayons X, un collimateur (12) et des pédales de compression (13a, 13b) pour positionner et comprimer le buste (14) de la patiente à examiner. Ledit dispositif comprend : des unités de commande (16-19) pour régler ledit nombre de paramètres dudit appareil d'imagerie aux rayons X, basés sur l'identité de la personne à examiner, ainsi que des données stockées dans une base de données (21), ces données comprenant un ensemble de données paramétriques issues d'au moins un examen aux rayons X récent de ladite patiente ; une unité de commande principale (15) communicant avec une unité de commande (16) pour régler les caractéristiques du rayonnement des rayons X de ladite source de rayons X (11) ; une unité (17) de commande pour régler la position de ladite source de rayons X (11) ; une unité d'entrée (20) d'identité. L'invention comprend en outre un dispositif (19) pour régler la largeur des fentes du collimateur, basée sur les informations extraites de ladite base de données et/ou une position desdites pédales.
