Claims (3)
- Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Füllfähigkeit von Tabak, wie geschnittenen Tabakblättern oder -rippen bzw. Tabakzusatzstoffen, durch Behandlung des bis etwa 15 Gew.-% Ausgangsfeuchte aufweisenden Tabakmaterials mit einem aus Stickstoff und/oder Argon bestehenden Behandlungsgas bei Drücken von 50 bis 1.000 bar bei kontinuierlicher oder stufenartiger Kompression gefolgt von einer kontinuierlichen oder stufenartigen Dekompression, wobei die Kompressions- und Dekompressionschritte in entweder einem Autoklaven oder bei kaskadenartiger Schaltung in mehreren Autoklaven erfolgen, und anschließende thermische Nachbehandlung des ausgetragenen Tabakmaterials, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kompression bei einer Arbeitstemperatur von über 55 °C durchgeführt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kompression bei einer Arbeitstemperatur von 60 bis 90 °C durchgeführt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausgangsfeuchte des Tabakmaterials im Bereich von 8 bis 14 Gew.-% liegt.
