Abstract

The method uses a computer which communicates with the person who wants to make the journey and/or the person willing to transport someone or give them a lift. The position of the person is determined using a localization system. The computer uses the determined position together with a desired destination to determine at least one relevant parameter for the journey of the person wishing to travel in the vehicle of the person wishing to transport.
