Abstract

    Claims (7)

    1. A gas cooking appliance comprising at least one gas burner equipped with a gas injector (1) which is screwed onto a gas supply tube (2), said injector and/or said tube extending through an aperture (4) in a support plate (3), the injector (1) and the tube (2) being situated essentially one on each side of the support plate (3) respectively above and under this plate, the supply tube being provided with a radially extending annular flange (6) located under the support plate (3),
      characterized in that the injector (1) comprises a bearing surface (12, 13) resting on the top of the support plate (1) so that, when the injector is being screwed on the supply tube both being located one on each side of the support plate, the flange (6) is clamped in a sealed fashion against the peripheral edge of the aperture (4) and/or a bearing surface of the injector (1) and that a seal is provided between the tube (2) and the injector (1), on the one hand, and between the top and the underside of the support plate (3) around the edge of the aperture (4), on the other hand, and that at the same time the injector (1) secured to the supply tube (2) is mechanically hold in a centred position in the aperture (4) and with the outlet orifice (5) of the injector (1) being situated in a predetermined axial position above the support plate.
    2. The appliance according to claim 1, characterized in that the annular flange (6) is situated beneath the end of the tube (2) which is secured to the injector (1) and in that the peripheral edge of the aperture (4) is clamped in a sealed way between said annular flange (6) of the tube (1) and a bearing surface of the injector which is defined by the lower end (9) of the injector (1) or an annular shoulder (12) surrounding the injector (1).
    3. The appliance according to claim 1, characterized in that the annular flange (6) is situated beneath the end of the tube (2) which is secured to the injector (1) and in that the peripheral edge of the aperture (4) is folded over (14; 17, 18) and clamped in a sealed way between said annular flange (6) of the tube (2) and a conical bearing surface (13) provided around the injector (1).
    4. The appliance according to claim 1, characterized in that the annular flange (6) is situated in close proximity to the end of the tube (2) and above the part of the tube (2) which is secured to the injector (1), and in that the end of the tube (2) surmounting the annular flange (6) is folded over (15) to trap the peripheral edge of the aperture (4) in contact with a conical bearing surface (13) of the injector (1).
    5. The appliance according to claim 4, characterized in that an elastic clip is inserted between the folded-over end of the tube and the support plate.
    6. The appliance according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the annular flange (6) provided on the supply tube (2) consists of a radially protruding annular fold of the wall of the tube (2).
    7. The appliance according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the support plate (3) is the top plate of the appliance.
