Claims (14)

  1. A rotary tampon printing press (10) comprising: an engraved roller (26) with a vertical orientated axis (24) of rotation; with one or more tampon rollers (12) and an ink dispending system (30) for inking the engraved roller (26), wherein the ink dispending system (30) comprises an ink trough (32) and an Archimedean screw (34) immersed into said ink trough (32) to transport said printing ink; wherein said Archimedean screw (34) comprises a guiding means (40) for passing the printing ink contactless onto said engraved roller (26), the guiding means (40) being directed to the peripheral surface (42) of said engraved roller (26), and the dosing gap (42) between said guiding means (40) and said engraved roller (26) being adjustable.
  2. The rotary tampon printing press of claim 1, characterized in that said Archimedean screw (34), said ink trough (32) and said guiding means (40) are parts of said ink dispending system (30).
  3. The rotary tampon printing press of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said Archimedean screw (34) is arranged vertical.
  4. The rotary tampon printing press of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a collecting means (50) is arranged underneath said engraved roller (26) for collecting printing ink which runs-off said engraved roller (26).
  5. The rotary tampon printing press of claim 4, characterized in that said collecting means (50) opens into said ink trough (32).
  6. The rotary tampon printing press of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said Archimedean screw (34) is driven by a speed controlled drive (36).
  7. The rotary tampon printing press of claim 6, characterized in that said drive (36) has a sensor for determining the power input.
  8. The rotary tampon printing press of claim 7, characterized in that said sensor is coupled to a monitoring means.
  9. The rotary tampon printing press of claim 8, characterized in that said monitoring means is designed for power adjustment of said drive (36).
  10. The rotary tampon printing press of claim 8 or 9, characterized in that said monitoring means is coupled to a supply device for thinning agents.
  11. The rotary tampon printing press of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said guiding means (40) is adjustable to the height of said engraved roller (26).
  12. The rotary tampon printing press of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said ink dispensing system (30) is exchangeable when changing the printing ink.
  13. The rotary tampon printing press of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said ink dispensing system is substantially closed.
  14. The rotary tampon printing press of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said tampon roller(s) (12) is (are) coupled with a residual ink collector.
