Definitions
- the invention relates to a clasp of the type of those used watchmaking, leather goods or jewelery, to allow the opening and the closing a watch strap, a purse or a necklace.
- the invention relates more particularly to a clasp comprising a stretcher and a folding arm or a removable button.
- a folding clasp is meeting in the watch industry for example, while a detachable button clasp meet for example in leather goods.
- the clasp is of the type particular to two pushers moving in opposite directions relative to the stretcher against the compression of a return member, to lock or unlock the folding arm or the button relative to the stretcher during the closing or the opening of the clasp.
- a clasp of this particular type is known from the patent application European EP-A-586 156.
- the folding arm of the clasp is movable relative to the stretcher about an axis parallel to the direction of travel relative of the two pushers.
- the folding arm is equipped with hooks that come in taken with hooks secured to one and the other pushers. The hooks in taken to lock the folding arm relative to the stretcher during the closure of the clasp.
- both pushers are moved in the opposite direction to the stretcher against the compression of an organ of reminder to release the hooks of the folding arm from their grip with the hooks solidary pushers.
- the pushers move in translation and in direction contrary to the stretcher by following walls of the stretcher defining a section of movement of the pushers.
- each pusher moves with a certain clearance with respect to the section of displacement formed by the walls of the stretcher.
- the addition of the moving games of the one and the other pushers can lead to an incomplete catch of the arms of the folding arm relative to the hooks of one or the other pusher.
- Such a risk of inadvertent opening must absolutely be reduced to minimum, and the risk reduction is all the more important as the clasp is used in a watch bracelet or in a necklace of greater value.
- Document CH 626518 discloses a clasp of the above type comprising a guide member housed in a first and a second housing guides formed in one and the other pushers to keep the two aligned pushers during their relative movement relative to the stretcher.
- the organ of reminder a coil spring, is mounted around the guide slide and the outside guide housing to abut against one and the other tappets. This arrangement certainly increases the locking security of the clasp but has the disadvantage of not protecting the return member mounted around the guide member.
- the two pushers of the clasp are maintained aligned by the guide member as they move relative to the stretcher.
- the alignment of the two pushers minimizes the play of moving one pusher relative to the other and thus contributes to a better hooks secured to the pushers with the hooks of the folding arm or removable button. This results in an increase in lock security of the folding arm or removable button relative to the stretcher.
- the document CH 646314 describes a clasp similar to that described by the previous D3 document.
- the coil spring is mounted around the slide and outside the guide housing pushers to come in stop against one of these pushers.
- DE 19615462 discloses a clasp comprising an organ of two-part guidance. Each part is fixed in a dwelling corresponding of the one and the other pushers. Both parts slide one by compared to each other against the compression of a coil spring mounted around the guide member. The corresponding dwellings in which the two parts of the guide member open, in each of the two pushers, by drilling larger diameter than housing. The spring comes in stop against the bottom of each of the two holes remaining outside the corresponding housing.
- EP 914781 discloses a clasp comprising two pushers mounted at the ends of a fork and guided relative to each other by a spring bar.
- Said bar comprises a cylindrical tube housed in a first and second guide housings of one and the other pushers for serve as a guide member and a coil spring housed in the cylindrical tube.
- the spring is compressed by two studs mounted at the ends of the cylindrical tube.
- the return member is housed inside the cylindrical tube serving as a guide.
- the bar spring makes it possible to protect the coil spring with the aid of the cylindrical tube of during the compression of the coil spring, the displacement of the nipples relative to the cylindrical tube creates additional friction compared to that created by the relative displacement of the pushers with respect to the cylindrical tube.
- One of the aims of the invention is therefore to design a clasp with greater locking safety by means of a guide.
- the invention more particularly aims at modifying a clasp of this type to better protect the return member, without however increasing the friction of the guide member with respect to the pushers during compression of the return member.
- Another object of the invention is that the clasp must can be manufactured by economical manufacturing processes and in particular by a metal injection molding process, said MIM process.
- the subject of the invention is a clasp comprising a stretcher, a folding arm or a removable button and two pushers moving in the opposite direction relative to the stretcher against the compression of a return member for lock or unlock the folding arm or detachable button in relation to stretcher when respectively closing or opening the clasp, a guiding member being housed in a first and a second housing of guiding one and the other pushers to keep aligned the two pushers during their relative movement relative to the stretcher, characterized in that the return member is housed in the guide housing of one or the other button.
- the guiding member is interposed abutting between two return members. If these are identical, the position of the guide member in the guide housing of one or the other push is substantially the same for one and the other pushers during their relative displacement against the compression of the two return members.
- the subject of the invention is also a method of manufacturing a clasp pusher.
- a clasp comprises, with reference to FIG. 1, a stretcher 3 and a first and second folding arms 51 articulated relative to the stretcher around an axis of rotation 13.
- the clasp is shown in an open position and the arrow F indicates the direction of rotation of the folding arms relative to the stretcher when closing the clasp.
- the clasp comprises, with reference to FIGS. 2 to 6, a first and a second pushers 1A and 1B moving in opposite directions relative to each other by 3.
- the two pushers 1A and 1B move in relation to the stretcher 3 in a direction parallel to the articulation axes 13 of the arms leaflets 51.
- Hooks 15 integral with the folding arms 51 come into engagement with hooks 17 secured to one and the other pushers.
- the hooks engaged make it possible to lock each folding arm 51 with respect to the stretcher 3 when closing the clasp.
- the two pushers 1A and 1B are moved in the opposite direction to stretcher 3 against compression of a return member 61 to release the hooks 15 of the folding arms of their taken with the hooks 17 secured to the pushers.
- a guide pin 91 is housed in a first and a second guide housing 11A and 11B respectively of the first and the second pushers 1A and 1B.
- the guide pin 91 is interposed in abutment between two helical springs 61 housed for one in the first housing of 11A of the first pusher 1A and for the other, in the second housing of 11B guide of the second pusher 1B.
- the guiding pin 91 makes it possible to maintain aligned the two pushers 1A and 1B during their relative movement relative to the stretcher 3 against the compression of the two coil springs 61.
- the two pushers 1A and 1B are kept aligned by the guide pin 91 during their relative movement relative to the stretcher 3.
- the alignment of the two pushers 1A and 1B minimizes the movement clearance of a pusher 1A relative to the other 1B and thus contributes to a better grip of hooks 17 secured to the pushers with the hooks 15 secured to the arms leaflets 51. This results in an increase in lock safety of the arms leaflets 51 relative to the stretcher.
- FIGS. 2 to 6 discloses a clasp two guide members parallel to one another and housed respectively in two parallel guiding housings formed in each of the two pushers. It is understood that in this embodiment with two guide members, the two pusher guiding housings have the same spacing in one and the other tappets.
- the guide pin extends inside the guide housing of each of the two pushers, over a length L which is sufficient in relation to the diameter D of the pin, for example greater than three times the diameter D of the pin. This ratio allows an optimum alignment of the two pushers, one for each relative to each other when moving relative to the stretcher.
- a stopper retains pushers 1A and 1B inside the stretcher 3 when the folding arms 51 are unlocked in the open position of the clasp.
- folding arms, the stretcher and the two pushers by different methods and for example by machining, stamping, or molding.
- These parts are for example made of silver, brass, metals precious or any other non-metallic material.
- the folding arms 51, the stretcher 3 and the pushers 1A and 1B are preferably manufactured by a method Injection molding of metal.
- the guiding pins 91 are made of steel stainless steel, as well as coil springs 61.
- the pin of guide 91 is movable relative to each of the two pushers 1A and 1B. We prevents the risk of galling by lubricating the interface between the pin and the guide housing of each of the two pushers.
- guide pins are provided for different sections and for example square or oval.
- the organs of are, for example, pads of elastomeric material or springs tires.
- a clasp according to the invention for which the return member is housed in the guide housing of one or other of the two pushers adds to the aesthetics since the return member is no longer visible from outside. It is no longer useful to add a piece of material between the two arms leaflets when they occupy the closing position of the clasp to conceal the return member.
