- Connector 101 is located at a different longitudinal position in the track direction to that of the connector 102 connected to adjacent conductive strip 31.
- the distance between conductive strip 31 and channel wall 14 can be made smaller than the distance between conductive strips 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 where the connectors are aligned and the conductive strips must be sufficiently separated to prevent the connectors contacting more than one strip 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35.

- the mounting member 90 comprises a pair of shutter actuators of which only one, 130 is visible.
- the support 90 further comprises two keys of which one, 140, is visible.
- the keys 140 are configured so that they fit exactly into the coded key ways 48 of the access part of the power track section of figure 2 if the correct types of power track section have been placed together. For example, if different types of power track section had been placed end to end, the coded key way for one would be different from the coded key way for the other and the coupler means, which has just one shape of key 140, will fail to engage with one of them.

- Shutter actuators 130 engage in the shutter actuator holes 47 to displace a movable shutter (not shown) which covers the holes 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 when the cover coupler means is absent.
- the key 140 will successfully engage in key way 48 allowing further engagement of the coupler means with the access part.
- the gripping parts 71 click into place underneath the rebates 15 and 16 and the respective electrically conductive connectors engage their respective electrically conductive strips or the channel wall 14 of the respective power track section, allowing full electrical connection between all six electrical conductors.

- the upper portion 82 and the shoulder portion 123 serve to provide a structure which is gripped and held firmly by the support member 90.
- the grip portion 124 comprises a first connector portion 121, a second connector portion 122 and a third connector portion 125. It can be seen that the first and third connector portions 121 and 125 are coplanar and aligned.
- the second connector portion 122 is bent away from the first and third connector portions 121 and 125 so that it faces the first and third connector portions defining a space for gripping therebetween an electrically conductive strip of a power track.
- the connector 102 is made of a metal such as brass. Due to the inherent resilience of the material, the second connector portion can be flexed with the first and third connector portions 121 so that the electrically conductive strip held therebetween can be placed under gripping pressure to further improve the contact.
- the second connector portion 122 includes a short angled section 126 which provides a smooth entry for the electrically conductive strip to the space between the connector portions. This further assists the ease with which the coupler means is used to engage the electrically conductive strips.

Claims (9)
- Système de rail conducteur, comprenant:une pluralité de sections de rail conducteur, chaque section de rail conducteur comprenant:un élément de canal (10);une pluralité de bandes électriquement conductrices (31, 32, 33, 34, 35) qui sont localisées dans l'élément de canal (10),les sections de rail conducteur pouvant être placées bout à bout; etun moyen de coupleur pour coupler des sections de rail conducteur placées bout à bout, le moyen de coupleur comportant un premier jeu de connecteurs électriquement conducteurs (102, 103, 104, 105, 106) qui font saillie depuis le moyen de coupleur pour coopérer avec les bandes électriquement conductrices (31, 32, 33, 34, 35) d'un premier rail d'énergie électrique et un second jeu de connecteurs électriquement conducteurs (111, 112) qui font saillie depuis le moyen de coupleur pour coopérer avec les bandes électriquement conductrices du second rail d'énergie électrique, chaque connecteur (102, 103, 104, 105, 106) du premier jeu étant connecté électriquement à un connecteur correspondant (111, 112) du second jeu,les connecteurs (102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 111, 112) des premier et second jeux comprenant chacun une première partie de connecteur (121) et une seconde partie de connecteur (122) qui est montée de façon élastique par rapport à la première partie de connecteur (121) et qui fait face à la première partie de connecteur (121), pour capturer une bande électriquement conductrice (31, 32, 33, 34, 35) d'un rail d'énergie électrique entre, caractérisé en ce que le moyen de coupleur peut coopérer avec chaque connecteur (102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 111, 112) suivant une direction qui s'étend perpendiculairement au plan de la base de la section de rail conducteur respective de telle sorte que les connecteurs électriquement conducteurs coopèrent avec une bande électriquement conductrice respective (31, 32, 33, 34, 35) d'une section de rail conducteur respective et la capture.
- Système de rail conducteur selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le moyen de coupleur comprend des parties de capture (71) pour coopérer de façon libérable avec l'élément de canal (10) de telle sorte que le moyen de coupleur puisse être fixé en position.
- Système de rail conducteur selon la revendication 2, dans lequel l'élément de canal (10) comprend une formation d'épaulement s'étendant longitudinalement (11, 15, 16) sur au moins un côté, le moyen de coupleur comportant au moins une mâchoire dépendante élastique (71) qui est configurée pour s'ajuster par encliquetage en place sous la formation d'épaulement (11, 15, 16) lorsque le moyen de coupleur est en position.
- Système de rail conducteur selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel l'élément de canal (10) comprend une base s'étendant longitudinalement avec des parois latérales s'étendant vers le haut qui s'étendent depuis la base, les bandes électriquement conductrices localisées dans l'élément de canal étant agencées de façon générale parallèlement les unes aux autres ainsi qu'aux parois de l'élément de canal.
- Système de rail conducteur selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le moyen de coupleur comprend au moins une formation (140) d'une conception distinctive et au moins une section de rail conducteur comprend une formation correspondante (48) d'une conception distinctive et ainsi, le moyen de coupleur peut seulement être mis en coopération avec la section de rail conducteur si les conceptions distinctives se correspondent.
- Système de rail conducteur selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel l'élément de canal (10) est formé en métal et joue le rôle de conducteur pour une alimentation.
- Système de rail conducteur selon la revendication 6, dans lequel le rail conducteur comprend une bande électriquement conductrice (31) qui est connectée à la borne de phase de l'alimentation électrique et une bande électriquement conductrice (32) qui est connectée à la borne de neutre d'une alimentation électrique, l'élément de canal en métal (10) étant connecté à la borne de terre de l'alimentation électrique.
- Système de rail conducteur selon la revendication 7, dans lequel le rail conducteur comprend des conducteurs de phase, de neutre et de terre (31, 32, 10) selon la revendication 6 pour une alimentation électrique normale et, de façon séparée, des conducteurs de phase (33), de neutre (34) et de terre (35) pour une alimentation électrique propre.
- Système de rail conducteur selon les revendications 6, 7 ou 8, dans lequel le moyen de coupleur comporte des connecteurs électriquement conducteurs (101, 111) qui sont connectés électriquement les uns aux autres, les connecteurs (101, 111) comprenant chacun des première et seconde parties de connecteur montées de façon élastique l'une par rapport à l'autre pour une capture entre d'une paroi (14) de l'élément de canal.
