Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device for fixing extra glasses on glasses.
These devices are most often used to mount filter glasses (glasses of protection against solar radiation) on glasses with corrective lenses and are usually of a standard type that does not match the mount of glasses. They are also equipped with glasses that do not have the shape of corrective lenses glasses, so that the whole formed the device with filtering glasses and glasses correctors is rather heavy, cumbersome and aesthetic. In addition, these known devices have hooking means on the glasses, which are more or less well adapted to the mount of glasses.
It has already been proposed, in US Pat. No. 5,920,370, a device of this type which is formed of a bridge in flexible material and two supports also in flexible material that are fixed by screws on the bridge. Nylon threads are attached or hung on supports for mounting glasses on supports. Hooks are also mounted by screw on the brackets for fixing the device on glasses. This device adapts better to the shape of the spectacle frame, thanks to the flexibility of the bridge and supports, but its manufacture and its assembly are relatively complex, long and expensive, because of the bindings by screws hooks and brackets.
The two branches supporting the extra glasses are not connected by a bridge (in the usual sense of that term), but by a series of five branches forming a vertical U and a horizontal U.
The horizontal U serves as hooking means on glasses of glasses.
According to DE-A-196 04 790, the connecting means between the extra glasses include three branches forming the horizontal stirrup in U on the glasses deck, and two branches that start from the stirrup and extend downwards oblique, along the edges of glasses glasses, and end with elbows connected to the branches supporting the extra glasses. This linkage structure is complex and therefore expensive.
The device according to DE-A-196 04 790 is not adaptable automatically and without modification to all the glasses. An optician must, with pliers, modify the elbows of the caliper to adapt the width of this stirrup to the length of the glasses bridge: if the stirrup is too wide, we do not can mount it on the glasses and if it is too narrow, it becomes visible and the branches go lean on the nose of the person wearing the glasses and will embarrass her. Besides the document mentioned above shows that the width of the stirrup corresponds exactly the length of the bridge of the glasses.
In addition, it is also necessary to adapt the length of branches at the distance between the glasses bridge and the lower edges of glasses glasses; if not editing is impossible.
The purpose of the invention is in particular to simplify the manufacture and assembly of such a device and therefore to lower the cost.
It is also intended to make such a device adaptable to any type of telescope.
It proposes for this purpose a attaching additional glasses to glasses, as defined in claim 1.
The features of the device of the invention simplify a lot the structure of it, simplify also its manufacture and assembly, increase its reliability and greatly reduce its cost price.
In addition, the flexibility of the bridge and branches allows a good adaptation to the shape of glasses and in the shape of the frame of the glasses.
Advantageously, the bridge and the branches hoses are made in one piece by molding, in particular of plastics or metal.
According to yet another characteristic of the invention, the attachment means are formed in one piece with said branches.
Thus, a single molding operation makes it possible to realize a device comprising a bridge, support branches glasses and means hooks, such as flexible hooks, for fixing the device on glasses.
According to yet another characteristic of the invention, at least some of the means are attached to the flexible wires of fixing the glasses on said flexible branches.
Advantageously, these attachment means are adjustable in position, sliding on the wires Flexible.
This makes it possible to adapt the device according to the invention to any form of spectacle frame.
In general, the device according to the invention is extremely simple since it can be made in one piece, it is light, little visible and compact and it is adaptable to all types of frames and spectacle lenses.

We first refer to Figures 1 to 5 which represent a first embodiment of the invention.
In these figures, the device carrying the
extra glasses, called "face" in the
technical, includes a molded assembly of a single
piece, consisting of a deck or
The
verre sur la pièce 12.At their ends, the
correspondant.
support.The whole formed by the

du côté du pont 10.In this embodiment, the
The shape and size of the

perpendiculairement à ces branches comme représenté
en figure 3, soit sensiblement tangentiellement. The ends of the
latérales 12.The device of FIGS. 1 to 5 is adaptable to
a lot of different spectacle frames,
thanks to the flexibility of
figure 6.The embodiment variant represented in
Figures 6 to 8 has the advantage of being universal,
that is to say, adaptable to all types of frames,
including thick plastic mounts.
In this variant embodiment, the
In the first case, the
As in the previous embodiment, the
ends of each
extrémités de la branche latérale 12.When the
In this case, and as we see best at
FIGS. 7 and 8, the
par rapport à celui-ci.In this embodiment, the hook properly
said is formed of a
périphérie du verre 22 pour le passage du fil 28.Of course, other means of mounting the
rainures périphériques des verres 22.For the rest, the variant embodiment of the

The device according to the invention is usable for mounting protective filter lenses solar on corrective glasses but it can also be used for mounting lenses additional correctors on glasses, by example to improve near vision or vision night.
