Größere Beleuchtungssysteme sind üblicherweise derart ausgestaltet, daß im Falle eines Ausfalls der normalen Stromversorgung zumindest einige der Leuchten mit Hilfe einer speziellen Notstromversorgung weiter versorgt werden und damit für eine Mindestbeleuchtung sorgen. Die Notstromversorgung kann beispielsweise durch ein zentrales Notstromaggregat gebildet werden, welches mit den einzelnen Notlichtleuchten über - von den üblichen Stromversorgungsleitungen getrennten - Leitungen verbunden ist. - Luminaire, comprising a carrier element (2), on which fitting holders (3) for receiving fittings (4) for one or more lamps are arranged,

characterized in that,
at least one of the fitting holders (3) is formed at least partly transparently, and has in the transparent region a receiving device (15, 16) for the monitor lamp as part of the transparent region, in which receiving device (15, 16) the monitor lamp is oriented in the emission direction of the luminaire. - Luminaire according to claim 1,
