Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an indicator light which is arranged in the middle of a power supply cord of an electric device such as an electric kotatsu and which can confirm an energized state or an operation state of the electric device. The present invention relates to a display device in a power cord marked with. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a power cord such as an electric kotatsu, an intermediate switch is mounted in the middle of the power cord and a neon indicating the energized state is provided on the side of the intermediate switch. It was a structure with a lamp attached. [0003] However, in the case of the indicator light only on the switch operation side of the intermediate switch of the power cord, the intermediate switch often rotates and turns over during use. In some cases, it may not be possible to check the status of the power supply or the like with the indicator light in the upside down state. The present invention provides a specific configuration of a display device in a power cord having a simple structure and a function of confirming an indicator light even when the indicator is turned upside down. [0004] In order to solve this problem, a display device in a power cord according to the present invention has a body in which a cord insertion hole through which an electric cord is inserted at both ends when combined is formed. And a two-part upper and lower body half, and two projections respectively engaged with openings formed in the body half, and a light-emitting body for display is attached. And a holding member made of a light-transmitting material having a storage space at a center portion for engaging the edges of the two printed wiring boards and holding the printed wiring boards at predetermined positions. A state in which the wiring board is held by the holding member so that the light-emitting body is located on the back side of the protrusion, and both protrusions of the holding member are respectively engaged with the openings of the two body halves. And both codes If the electric cord inserted through the insertion hole has at least one
The two body halves are united in a state where they are electrically connected to each other via a plurality of the printed wiring boards. [0005] With such a structure, the energized state or the operating state can be easily checked even when the display device provided in the middle of the power cord is turned upside down. Further, since a holding member for supporting and fixing the printed wiring board provided with the light-emitting body in the housing is formed of a light transmitting material, and a projection integrally formed with the holding member is used as a light emission output port, it is assembled. It is easy to align the luminous body and the light emission output port at the time, and the projection is a light emission output port so as to engage with the opening formed in the body, so that the holding member Alignment between the body and the body and fixing of the holding member in the body can also be easily performed. A display device for a power cord according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. FIG. 1 is a schematic exploded perspective view of a display device in a power cord according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the assembled display device, and FIG. FIG. [0007] In these figures, reference numeral 1a denotes an input-side power cord to which a power outlet 2 is connected at the end;
b is an output-side power cord whose one end is connected to an electric device such as an electric kotatsu. That is, the display device has a structure provided in the middle of the power cord. [0008] Each of the bodies 3a and 3b is vertically divided into two parts so as to form a body 5 having cord insertion holes 4a and 4b formed at both ends thereof when the power cords 1a and 1b are inserted. Openings 6a and 6b are formed at opposite positions in the center of the half body, respectively.
It is formed of a non-translucent resin. Reference numerals 7a and 7b denote printed wiring boards.
As shown most clearly, at one side edge, relatively rigid metal terminal pieces 8a and 8b are engaged and fixed so that both ends protrude from both ends of the printed wiring boards 7a and 7b, respectively. ing. Then, this printed wiring board 7a,
A first luminous body 9a and a second luminous body 9b for display, each of which is composed of an LED or the like, are fixed to a central portion of 7b, and one terminal of the first luminous body 9a is the metal terminal piece 8a. The other terminal is electrically connected to one terminal of the second light emitting body 9b via a lead wire 10. The other terminal of the second luminous body 9b is electrically connected to the display signal line 11 inserted in the power cord 1b on the output side. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 12 denotes a holding member integrally formed of a light-transmitting resin material. The holding members 3a. Protrusions 13a and 13b are formed to fit into openings 6a and 6b formed in 3b. In the center, engagement grooves 14a, 14 engage with the side edges of the printed wiring boards 7a, 7b to hold the printed wiring boards 7a, 7b at predetermined positions.
A storage space 15 having b on the inner wall is formed. Next, the main assembling procedure will be described.
First, as shown in FIG.
The first power source 9a and the second light source 9
b is attached and connected to the metal terminal pieces 8a and 8b of the printed wiring boards 7a and 7b connected by the lead wire 10, and also connects the signal line 11 and the second luminous body 9b. In this state (in FIG. 3, the input side power cord 1a
The power supply line 1d is also connected to the metal terminal strips 8a and 8b, but is not connected at this time.) As shown in FIG. 1, both the printed wiring boards 7a and 7b are connected to the holding member 12a.
The first luminous body 9a and the second luminous body 9b provided on both the printed wiring boards 7a and 7b are opposed to the back sides of the protrusions 13a and 13b, respectively, while being engaged with the engaging grooves 14a and 14b. Into the storage space 15 of the holding member 12 up to a predetermined position. Thereafter, the two power lines 1d of the input side power cord 1b are connected to the other ends of the metal terminal pieces 8a and 8b protruding from the ends of the holding member 12. In this state, the two housing halves 3a and 3b are combined while the projections 131a and 13b of the holding member 12 are fitted into the openings 6a and 6b of the housing halves 3a and 3b, respectively. To secure. At this time, the holding member 12
Is fixed between the two body halves 3a and 3b, and is fixed in the body together with the fitting between the projections 13a and 13b and the openings 6a and 6b. FIG. 2 shows the completed state. That is, for example, when a predetermined voltage is applied to the signal line 11 depending on the state of the device such as turning on a power switch provided on the device, the first luminous body 9a and the second luminous body 9b are energized. It becomes a state and emits light. This light emission is radiated to both surfaces of the container 5 via the projections 13a and 13b of the holding member 12. According to this configuration, since light is emitted from both sides of the container 5, even if the container 5 is inverted or turned sideways, it can be confirmed. Also, if the holding member 12 is made of a translucent material and the projections 13a and 13b are formed in a convex lens shape and protruded from the surface of the container 5, the internal structure is difficult to see, and the display portion can be enlarged and the visibility can be increased. Is what gets better. FIG. 4 shows another embodiment, in which the display section 9 is enlarged, the projections 13a and 13b serving as display sections are made sufficiently large, and a large number of irregularities are provided on the back side thereof to diffuse light. It is a measure that can be visually recognized over a wider area. As described above, according to the present invention, the energized state or the operating state can be easily confirmed even when the display portion provided in the middle of the power cord is turned upside down. Further, since a holding member for supporting and fixing the printed wiring board provided with the light-emitting body in the housing is formed of a light transmitting material, and a projection integrally formed with the holding member is used as a light emission output port, it is assembled. It is easy to align the light-emitting body and the light-emission output port at the time, and because the projection that is the light-emission output port is configured to engage with the opening formed in the container,
The positioning between the holding member and the container and the fixing of the holding member in the container can be easily performed.
