    automatic registration of the identified collectible material on an electronic user account for the identified user,
    wherein the electronic user account is maintained in a central disposal database (5) located geographically apart from the collection container (1), data for registering the dropped-in collectible material are exchanged between the collection container (1) and the disposal database (5) via remote data transmission, and the disposal database (5) automatically transmits user data and/or container data and/or provides them in a retrievable manner through an electronic network (8) to the container operator (7),
    characterized in that
    the disposal database (5) automatically provides and/or transmits a container user's (10) user data to said user via an internet connection (9), and that user data transmitted to the disposal database (5) by a container user (10) are provided and/or transmitted automatically to the respective container operator (7) by the disposal database (5) via an internet connection.

Method according to anyone of the previous claims, wherein the disposal database (5) provides the user data and/or container data, such as fee posting data, consumption data, fill level data, user data and/or maintenance status data, in a retrievable manner via the internet (8) and/or transmits them automatically.

System for the automatic operation of a collection container (1) for collectible material, such as waste and the like, to be used only against payment of a fee by users (10) registered with a container operator (7), comprising a first identification means for identification of a respective user and/or said user's access permission, a second identification means for identification of the respective collectible material dropped in, a data memory for storing a user account and a computing unit (2) for posting the identified collectible material to the electronic user account, wherein a central disposal database (5) for maintaining the user account, located geographically apart from the collection container (1), a remote data transmission means (3) for connecting the disposal database (5) to the collection container (1) and an electronic network (8) for connecting the disposal database (5) to the container operator (7) are provided,
