Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an earring comprising a decorative loop portion having a first end portion to which is connected a tie rod having a fastening portion for insertion into a piercing of an ear and a free end portion of attachment, and a pair of earrings.
  • Such earrings are intended to be worn by a person with pierced ears lobes.
  • Such earrings are known which are held suspended from the ear by a fastening portion inserted in a piercing of an ear and which can be either straight or curved, in particular for earrings whose decorative part is hanging.
  • the attachment rod is in the form of an inverted V whose generally curved top forms the attachment portion intended to be arranged in the piercing of the ear lobe.
  • the V of this fastening rod is substantially included in a vertical plane, when the earring is held in the use position for a user in a vertical position.
  • the V is in the middle plane of the earring which then corresponds to the median plane of the decorative loop part.
  • the attachment rod is in a vertical plane when the decorative part is in a vertical position.
  • the curved attachment portion generally remains poorly positioned in the piercing of the ear, which is substantially straight and has a natural tendency to slide forward or backward of the earlobe, resulting in the introduction of one of the two branches of the V in the drilling, which is somewhat unsightly.
  • the earrings are poorly positioned relative to the cheeks of the person wearing them, which is unattractive.
  • the defect is all the more important when the decorative loop part is large and / or ring-shaped, in particular for earrings of Creole type, it is desirable that they be parallel to the cheeks in the vicinity of the lobe, that is to say parallel to the sagittal plane of the user's face, the latter corresponding to the plane of symmetry of the face.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide an earring that avoids this lack of aesthetics.
  • the fastening portion is inclined with respect to the first end portion by an angle ⁇ corresponding to a spacing angle of the lobe of the ear carrying the earring relative to to the cheek forming a bend, so as to straighten the earring with respect to the cheek.
  • the attachment rod in vertical use position of the earring, is not contained in a vertical plane, since the attachment portion is inclined relative to such a plane so as to straighten the loop. of the ear relative to the cheek, but in a substantially transverse plane.
  • the fastening rod when the earring is placed in the bore, is substantially in a plane substantially transverse to the sagittal plane of the user's face, commonly called the transverse plane of the head.
  • the fastening portion is contained in a substantially horizontal plane when the decorative part is placed in a vertical plane.
  • the holes made in the ear lobes are pierced orthogonally to the lobes.
  • the lobes are more or less removed from the cheeks, but are almost never (except in case of extreme detachment of the ears) orthogonal to the cheeks.
  • the bore is not parallel to the cheek, but is inclined at an angle A relative to the cheek.
  • the earring is substantially parallel to the cheeks when the rod is placed in the bore.
  • the angle ⁇ of the elbow is advantageously chosen so that an average plane of the decorative loop portion is substantially parallel to a plane of the cheek.
  • the earring placed in the bore is well adjusted and remains substantially parallel to the sagittal plane of the user's face and has no tendency to depart.
  • the plane of the cheeks is the one that passes by the cheeks being parallel to the sagittal plane of the face.
  • said elbow forms an angle ⁇ of between 90 ° and 150 °, preferably of the order of 135 °.
  • the angle A is between 90 °, when the ears are very loose and 170 °, when the ears are very glued; however, generally this angle is of the order of 135 °.
  • of this order of magnitude, the earring is well adjusted when it is placed in the ear and its average plane is substantially parallel to the cheek of the person wearing it.
  • Said attachment rod furthermore advantageously comprises a folding portion which forms a counter-elbow which extends between said attachment portion and said free end portion of attachment.
  • this against-elbow is wedged behind the lobe of the ear, thus determining the position of attachment in the piercing of the lobe.
  • This against-elbow is in fact a counter-curve portion which allows the fastening rod to return, behind the ear, in the extension of the first end portion of the decorative loop portion.
  • the counter-elbow forms, with respect to the attachment portion, an angle ⁇ of between 30 ° and 100 °. It is preferably of the order of 90 °, which also makes it possible to better maintain the earring against the lobe of the ear by exerting a slight pressure on the lobe.
  • said fastening free end portion is inclined at an angle ⁇ relative to said counter-bend and said angle ⁇ is chosen so that the sum of the angles ⁇ and ⁇ is equal to 360 °.
  • the attachment rod has a free end portion which is in the axis of the first end portion of the decorative loop portion.
  • the attachment rod is almost invisible when the earring is worn, since the end portions of its decorative loop portion are facing each other in the extension of the stem of attachment, that is to say for creoles, in a plane substantially transverse to the median plane of the decorative loop part.
  • the elbow is then almost hidden on the front of the earring by the end of the decorative part. The same goes on the back of the earring for the free attachment portion, while the against-elbow is naturally masked by the lobe of the ear.
  • the attachment rod generally being entirely housed in the bore, is substantially invisible.
  • the attachment portion is advantageously substantially rectilinear over its entire length.
  • the attachment portion is then of the same geometry as piercing the lobe of the ear, namely substantially rectilinear, it does not tend to slide naturally in the latter.
  • the attachment portion is wedged in the bore between the end portion of one side of the ear lobe and the against-elbow of the other side.
  • said free end portion of attachment is adapted to cooperate with fastening means.
  • the fastening means may be carried by a second free end portion of said decorative loop portion and are able to cooperate by hooking with said free end portion of attachment or may be an independent clasp-like element. springs.
  • said fixing means comprise a channel and said free end portion is adapted to penetrate into said channel to fix and close the earring.
  • this closing system of the loop is very practical and not visible in the closed position, since it suffices to penetrate the end of the fastener and an end portion in the rear part of the part decorative loop that is removed beforehand, at the time of installation in the piercing of the ear, and which is provided with a small channel for housing the end portion or at least the free end of attachment of the latter.
  • the clip can advantageously be attached to the decorative loop portion by a hinge.
  • This hinge then allows to release the entire rod attaching the earring by rotating the latter around the hinge while remaining in a plane transverse to the middle plane of the decorative loop portion and thus, to facilitate its implementation in the piercing of the ear .
  • the present invention also makes it possible to propose a pair of earrings whose two loops are well arranged in the earholes so that the lack of aesthetics is reduced at best, in particular the parts of the decorative loop are parallel to the sagittal plane of the user's face in the use position.
  • the pair of earrings comprises a right earring according to the aforementioned type, a left earring according to the aforementioned type, and the attachment portion of said right earring is substantially reversed. relative to the attachment portion of said left ear loop.
  • the ears being symmetrical with respect to each other, to be able to straighten the earrings in both ears right and left, it is necessary to have a right earring and a left earring.
  • Each of the earrings has an aforementioned fastening system which is reversed from one loop to the other.
  • the user can use the shape of the clip to differentiate the right loop from the left loop, in particular, when the loop is placed in the piercing of the ear, the against-elbow should be pointed towards the cheek ad hoc.
  • a marking of the loop can advantageously be practiced on each loop to differentiate very easily the right ear loop from the left.
  • the decorative loop portion of the right ear loop is substantially parallel to said decorative loop portion of the left ear loop.
  • decorative loop parts are substantially symmetrical to each other, when they are symmetrical to each other for example with respect to a mirror plane.
  • they are substantially parallel to one another, when they are similar to each other. the other.
  • the decorative loop parts are parallel to each other and parallel to the sagittal plane.
  • the Decorative loop portions are then substantially symmetrical to one another with respect to the sagittal plane.
  • FIG. 1 shows the head of a person with a right ear 12D and a left ear 12G, seen from above in a plane Po substantially transverse to the plane of symmetry of the user's face, commonly referred to as the sagittal plane S.
  • L' right ear 12D, respectively left 12G is spaced from the right cheek 14D, respectively left 14G, in this case a plane J of the cheeks, an angle A (shown in Figure 1A).
  • These planes J are respectively defined as planes passing by the cheek in the vicinity of each ear, right 12D, respectively left 12G, said planes being parallel to the sagittal plane S.
  • the angle A can vary from one individual to another between 90 ° and 170 °. These two extremes are rarely reached. In fact, when the ears are very glued, the angle A is of the order of 170 ° and, when the ears are very loose, it is about 90 °; however, and this is generally the case, this angle is of the order of 135 °.
  • the piercing of the ears is carried out orthogonally to the lobe 12D and 12G of each ear, resulting in an inclination of each right boring 16D, respectively 16G left, of the same angle A.
  • the decorative part of a loop of Ear 18D or 18G for example a Creole, is substantially parallel to the cheek in this case parallel to the plane J of each cheek, when it is placed in the bore 16D or 16G, it must be straightened.
  • the tie rods of the right 18D and 18G left ear loops are therefore inverted with respect to each other, that is to say that they have a mirror symmetry with respect to the sagittal plane S, of so that when the decorative loop parts are of the Creole type, they are substantially parallel in the use position.
  • the decorative loop parts of the creole earrings each generally have an average plane M, which must therefore be made parallel to the sagittal plane S. For the rest of the sequence, only a detailed description of a right earring 18D.
  • FIG 1A shows, in enlargement, a partial section in the vicinity of the lobe of the right ear 12D, with its right bore 16D and a creole 18D right placed in the right hole 16D in the closed position of the loop.
  • Right creol 18D has a straight decorative loop portion 20D having a first end portion 19D, to which is connected a straight tie rod 22D which extends into a portion of the cylindrical casing of the decorative loop portion 20D. Given the relatively short length of the attachment rod, this portion of the cylindrical envelope containing the latter can be likened to a plane.
  • the plane containing the right attachment pin 22D referenced P is substantially transverse to the average plane M. In the use position the plane P containing the attachment rods is substantially parallel to the transverse plane Po.
  • the straight attachment rod 22D has a substantially rectilinear straight attachment portion 24D which is inserted into the right bore 16D.
  • the straight fastening portion 24D comprises a bend 26D having an angle ⁇ in the transverse plane P.
  • the angle ⁇ is similar to the angle A corresponding to the spacing of the ear lobes and thus the holes.
  • the angle ⁇ is thus chosen between 90 ° and 150 °, preferably of the order of 135 °, which corresponds to the mean of the spacings observed so that the average plane M of the decorative loop portion 20D is parallel to the plane J each cheek 14D, 14G and the sagittal plane S, as illustrated in FIG.
  • the right attachment rod 22D advantageously comprises a folding portion 27D which forms a right-angled counter-elbow 28D at an angle ⁇ with respect to the fastening portion 24D and which extends between the straight attachment portion 24D and a portion free end of straight attachment 30D.
  • the angle ⁇ is between 30 ° and 100 °, preferably of the order of 90 °.
  • the right against-elbow 28D makes it possible, among other things, to keep the Creole against the lobe of the right ear 12D.
  • the straight end free end portion 30D of the right attachment rod 22D may stop at adjacent the right attachment portion 24D.
  • the straight end free end portion 30D is inclined at an angle ⁇ of between 110 ° and 240 °, preferably of the order of 135 °.
  • angle ⁇ it is preferable for the angle ⁇ to be chosen such that the angles ⁇ , ⁇ and ⁇ are substantially in the transverse plane P and that their sum is substantially equal to 360 °, so that in the case of Creole ears, the free end attachment end portion 30D comes opposite a second right end portion 32D.
  • FIG. 2 shows a right creed 18D whose decorative loop portion 20D is very thin, with the first end portion 19D facing the second right end portion 32D; this earring can be elastically deformed for its placement in the piercing of the ear.
  • the attachment rod 22D is connected to the first end portion 19D and comprises the attachment portion 24D, the against-elbow 28D and the free end attachment end portion 30D, as previously described and in particular away from the angles ⁇ and ⁇ .
  • the straight end free end portion 30D extends freely from the counterbend 28D over a length intended to be introduced into a channel 34D of ad hoc length, advantageously made in the second right end portion 32D of the decorative part of loop 20D.
  • the fastening means comprise the channel 34D which contains the free end portion 30D of the right fastener, when the Creole 18D is closed, but it could be envisaged, in particular for earrings that are not in the form of creoles, that the fastening means comprise a spring clasp (not shown), which slides on the right end of the free end portion 30D, and then locks by action of the springs on the free end portion of attachment right 30D.
  • the fastening rod 22D may be connected to the first end portion 19D by welding or any other fastening means.
  • the attachment rod 22D with a hinge 36, which allows to separate the fastening rod 22D from the loop decorative part 20D.
  • a hinge 36 which allows to separate the fastening rod 22D from the loop decorative part 20D.
  • the fixing means may also comprise a hook system, not shown.
  • the hook system makes it possible to close the earring by means of the free fastening end which unites with a hook fixed on the second right end portion 32D which no longer has a channel 34D.
  • the bend 26D is spaced, relative to the first end portion, a fixed angle ⁇ which is not to be compared to the opening / closing angle of the rod. fastener relative to the decorative loop portion 20D.
  • the set of angles ⁇ , ⁇ and ⁇ are substantially included in the same plane P, which when the free end portion of attachment 30D is hooked to the second end portion of the loop 32D, is substantially orthogonal to the mean plane M of the earring, when it has one and coincides with the transverse plane Po of the head when the earring 18D is placed in the bore 16D, as shown in Figure 1.
  • this plane P is able to pivot around the latter 36, always remaining substantially transverse to the sagittal plane S and the average plane M in the case of a Creole 20D, but moving away then the transverse plane Po of the head ( Figure 1).
  • FIG. 4 shows in detail an example of a hinge 36.
  • the hinge 36 comprises a fork 38 having two lips 38 'and 38 "attached to the first end portion 19D, for example by welding. is U-shaped open outwardly of the first end portion 19D, wherein one end 40D of the bend 26D (opposite the free end portion 30D) is inserted by being rotatably held at the using a rod 42 fixed in holes 44 'and 44 ", formed respectively in the lips 38' and 38" and through the end 40D through a hole 46D.
