    - a lamp cap (2), in which the at least one lamp vessel (1) is fastened, the lamp cap (2) having a cap flange (20) and at least three reference lugs (21) arranged in a common plane parallel to the plane of the cap flange, and
    - supply leads (4, 5) for supplying energy to the at least one luminous element (1),
    characterized in that the cap flange (20) has at least three clips (22), arranged along its circumference, which are constructed resiliently perpendicularly to the plane of the cap flange in order to be able to cooperate with the reference lugs (21) for the purpose of fastening the lamp in a lamp mounting opening of a headlight by means of a clamping fit such that an edge of the lamp mounting opening is arranged in a clamping fashion between the reference lugs (21) and the clips (22).
  2. Headlight lamp according to Claim 1, characterized in that the at least three clips (22) in each case have a camber (22a) projecting from the plane of the cap flange.
  3. Headlight lamp according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cap flange (20) is of substantially rotationally symmetrical construction, and the at least three clips (22) extend in the azimuthal direction.
  4. Headlight lamp according to Claim 3, characterized in that the at least three clips (22) are of homogeneous construction and have the same orientation.
  5. Headlight lamp according to Claim 1, characterized in that the at least three clips (22) are integrally formed on the cap flange (20), and the cap flange (20) and the clips (22) consist of a metal.
