Description

The invention relates to an electric lamp with a sleeve-shaped base into which a holding device carrying the lamp bulb is inserted.

In known lamps of this type (eg DE-OS 1489414 or FR-PS 769 029), the base and the holding device are connected to one another after assembly by soldering or welding. Such connections are cumbersome and expensive. that when using thin wall thicknesses, the material can be destroyed during spot welding. The invention is therefore based on the object. To create an electric lamp, the base and holding device can be connected to one another without additional heat treatment, such as welding or soldering.

In an electric lantpe of the type mentioned at the beginning, this task is preferred according to the Er. fiudung solved in that the sleeve-shaped base has at least two inwardly projecting cams, that the holding device is a cylindrical sleeve, which is provided on its cylinder jacket with at least two slot-like recesses extending in the lamp axis up to its inner edge, and that Grip recesses over the cams.

In this way, a purely mechanical fastening between the lamp base and the inner sleeve is achieved.

However, the cams can also be designed as pins which protrude inwards and are fastened to the base

Zweckmaßigerweise erweitern sich die schlitzartigen Aussparungen zum Rand hin Auf diese Weise lassen sich Sockel und Haltevorrichtung leicht zusammensetzen ohne vorherige genaue Ausrichtung beider Teile zueinanderThe slot-like cutouts expediently widen towards the edge. In this way, the base and the holding device can be easily assembled without prior precise alignment of the two parts to one another

Durch das eng passende Zusammenwirken der schlitzartigen Aussparungen der Haltevornchtung mit den Sockelnocken sind Sockel und Innenhülse gegen Verdrehung gesichert Eine Bewegung in axialer Richtung läßt sich in be kannter Weise dadurch vermeiden, daß die au3 dem Lampenkolben herausragenden Stromzuführungsdrahte straff gespannt und mrt den Suckelkontakten verlotet werden (DE-OS 1 908 64 1 ) .Due to the closely fitting interaction of the slot-like recesses of the holding device with the base cams, the base and inner sleeve are secured against rotation. Movement in the axial direction can be avoided in a known manner by tensioning the power supply wires projecting from the lamp bulb and soldering them to the sucker contacts ( DE-OS 1 908 64 1).

If the power supply wires. e.g. B for mechanical reasons. are not suitable for axial securing between the base and the holding device. According to an advantageous development of the lamp according to the invention, the slot-like recesses can be provided with resilient tabs which are pushed apart by the base cams when the inner sleeve is inserted into the base and spring back behind the cams in the position of the holding device. In this way, the resilient tabs of the inner sleeve practically snap into place behind the base cams and thus ensure that the inner sleeve is firmly seated in the base, even in the axial direction.

The tabs can e.g. B. consist of inwardly bent resilient edge parts of the adjoining the slit-like recesses of the cylindrical sleeve of the l laltvorrirhtung.

The holding device 9 is on your cylinder jacket 12 with which in the lamp axis up to the inside of the base Edge 13 extending slot-like recesses 14 which expand towards the edge 13.

The holding device 9 is arranged closely fitting in a sleeve-shaped base 15 made of metal. For this purpose, the base 15 has two inwardly pressed cams 16, via which the slot-like recesses 14 of the holding device 9 engage when they are inserted into the base 15. As a result, the base 15 and the holding device 9 are secured against rotation relative to one another. The holding device 9 is pushed into the base 15 until the base cams 16 abut the end of the slot-like recesses 14 in the cylinder jacket 12 of the holding device 9. The ends 6 and 7 of the power supply wires 3 and 4 are then soldered to the base contacts 17 and 18 in a tightly tensioned state, as a result of which the holding device 9 is also secured in the base 15 in the axial direction.

The same parts have the same reference numerals as in FIGS. 1 to 5. In this embodiment, however, the holding tabs 10 in the cover plate 8 of the holding device 9 are not bent at right angles, but are only bent obliquely inwards. The pinch 2 of the lamp bulb 1 has, on its two longitudinal sides, projections 19 extending transversely to the lamp longitudinal axis, behind which the obliquely bent retaining tabs 10 of the holding device 9 latch in a locking manner when the lamp bulb 1 is inserted (cf. e.g. DE-GM 7 526 777 or U.S. Patent 4,119877). The holding device 9 is in turn provided with slot-like recesses 24 which extend to the edge 13 of the cylinder jacket 12 of the holding device 9. However, the slot-like recesses 24 have in their central region inwardly projecting resilient tabs 20, which consist of inwardly bent edge parts of the cylinder jacket 12 of the holding device 9 adjoining the slot-like recesses 24. These resilient tabs 20 slightly reduce the width of the cutouts 24, but are pushed apart by the cams 16 when the holding device 9 is inserted into the sleeve-shaped base 15 and spring back in the end position of the holding device 9 behind the cams 16, thereby axially securing the holding device 9 is reached in the base 15 (Fig. 7).
