  • Fork 18 may slide longitudinally along the guide means 19 in both directions of arrow 21 being connected to actuating means 22 comprising a flexible metal wire 22a tensioned by an operating lever 22b fixed to the bicycle handlebar.
  • said means comprise a couple of screws 24, 25, each of them being integral with a corresponding half bracket 26, 27 and being coupled to a nut-screw 29, 30 fixed to the rigid frame 8 at a corresponding side member 8a, 8b.
  • Each screw 24, 25 is arranged in through holes 8c, 8d made in each corresponding side member 8a, 8b and is provided at one end with a control hand-wheel 24a, 25a.
  • said means comprise a couple of screws 31, 32 each protruding from the corresponding side member 8a, 8b of the rigid frame 8 and threaded in a corresponding slit 33, 34 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 and made in each half-bracket 26, 27 which is fixed through a nut-screw 35, 36 preferably made in a control handle 35a, 36a.
  • Locking is obtained by lock-nuts 37, 38.
  • the position of the rigid frame 8 is adjusted by acting on the adjustment means 10 so as to cause the flexible belt 4 to adhere to tyre C of the driving wheel R.
  • the cyclist starts pedalling and actuating the lever 23 causes the fork 18 to slide arranging it in any position comprised between the two end positions shown with continuous line and dashed line in FIG. 3 according to the desired resisting force.
  • the magnetic pieces 17a, 17b carry out a magnetic effect induced on the aluminum disc 14 braking the first roller 5 and therefore the belt 4 in proportion to the opposite surface areas of the magnetic pieces and the aluminum disc.
  • FIG. 6 A different application of the braking assembly 1 of the invention is shown in FIG. 6 where the assembly is constrained to the back fork F of the frame of the bicycle B that in this case constitutes the support structure.
  • the cyclist may perform a dynamic training running with the bicycle on the road.
  • the braking assembly of the invention in both embodiments in which it is connected either to the stand supporting the bicycle B or to the back fork F of the bicycle frame, can be easily adjusted so as to regulate in an optimal way the adherence of the belt to the surface of the tyre of the driving wheel.

Claims (14)

  1. Un groupe de freinage (1) pour vélos (B) particulièrement indiqué pour l'entraínement des cyclistes, fixé à une structure de support (2; F) et équipé de moyens de freinage (3) intéragissant avec la roue d'entraínement (R) dudit vélo (B) pour générer un couple résistant opposé à la rotation appliquée par le cycliste à ladite roue d'entraínement (R) au moyen des pédales (P), lesdits moyens de freinage (3) comprenant au moins une courroie flexible (4) avec un développement principalement longitudinal positionnée avec une adhérence périmetrale au pneu (C) de ladite roue d'entraínement (R) pour au moins une partie de sa circonférence et enroulée comme une boucle fermée entre au moins une paire de rouleaux pivotants (5, 6), au moins un desdits rouleaux étant relié d'une manière opérative à des moyens de dissipation d'énergie (7), ladite paire de rouleaux pivotants (5, 6) faisant partie d'un cadre rigide (8) supporté par une bride de support (9) fixée à ladite structure de support (2; F), ladite paire de rouleaux pivotants comprenant un premier rouleau (5) relié d'une manière opérative auxdits moyens de dissipation d'énergie (7) et un deuxième rouleau (6), ladite courroie flexible (4) étant enroulée entre lesdits rouleaux, lesdits rouleaux (5, 6) ayant des axes de rotation essentiellement horizontaux et parallèles (5b, 6b), ledit cadre rigide (8) étant relié à ladite bride de support (9) au travers de moyens de réglage (10) indiqués pour changer sa position par rapport audit pneu (C) de ladite roue d'entraínement (R), caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de dissipation d'énergie (7) comprennent un disque (14) de matériel amagnétique claveté d'une manière fixe sur ledit premier rouleau (5) avec la surface positionnée entre une paire de pièces magnétiques (17a, 17b) soutenues par une fourche mobile (18) incorporée dans ledit cadre rigide (8) et reliées à des moyens d'actionnement (22) indiqués pour déplacer lesdites pièces magnétiques (17a, 17b) par rapport audit disque (14).
  2. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que ledit disque amagnétique (14) est relié audit premier rouleau (5) au moyen d'un volant (15) avec ventilateur de refroidissement (16), tous les deux étant coaxiaux avec ledit premier rouleau (5).
  3. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que ledit disque de matériel amagnétique (14) est positionné à l'intérieur d'un boítier (20) fixé audit cadre rigide (8) et équipé de moyens de guidage (19) pour le coulissement de ladite fourche mobile (18).
  4. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens d'actionnement (22) comprennent un fil flexible (22a) fixé d'un bout à ladite fourche mobile (18) et du bout opposé à un levier de commande (22b) soutenu par le guidon dudit vélo (B).
  5. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que ledit cadre rigide (8) est relié à ladite bride de support (9) également au travers des moyens de blocage (11) indiqués pour fixer ledit cadre dans la position définie par lesdits moyens de réglage (10).
  6. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de réglage (10) comprennent au moins une vis (24, 25) avec des moyens de commande (24a, 25a) incorporés dans ladite bride de support (9), ladite vis étant assemblée avec un écrou (29, 30) fixé audit cadre rigide (8).
  7. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de blocage (11) comprennent au moins une vis (31, 32) saillant dudit cadre rigide (8) et filetée dans une fente (33, 34) réalisée dans ladite bride de support (9) à laquelle est fixé un écrou (35, 36) avec une poignée (35a, 36a).
  8. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que ledit premier rouleau (5) sur sa surface extérieure présente des rainures (5a) intéragissant avec des rainures correspondantes (4a) réalisées sur la surface intérieure de ladite courroie flexible (4).
  9. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que lesdits rouleaux pivotants (5, 6) ont les axes de rotation correspondants (5b, 6b) positionnés à la même distance (d) du moyeu de ladite roue d'entraínement (R) pour une position quelconque où ledit cadre (8) met la courroie en strict contact avec ledit pneu (C).
  10. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que ledit cadre rigide (8) comprend une paire d'éléments latéraux parallèles (8a, 8b) reliés d'une manière rigide l'un à l'autre au moyen d'une paire de pivots fixes (12, 13) chacun étant le pivot d'articulation d'un rouleau correspondant (5, 6).
  11. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que ladite bride de support (9) se compose d'une paire de demi-brides une en face de l'autre (26, 27) entre lesquelles ledit cadre rigide (8) est positionné.
  12. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 11) caractérisé en ce que ladite bride de support (9) est fixée à une béquille de support (2) soutenant ledit vélo (B) en le disposant en position verticale fixe avec ladite roue d'entraínement (R) soulevée du sol (T).
  13. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 12) caractérisé en ce que ladite béquille de support (2) soutient ledit vélo (B) sur le moyeu (M) de la roue d'entraínement (R).
  14. Le groupe de freinage (1) selon la revendication 1) caractérisé en ce que ladite bride de support (9) est fixée à la fourche arrière (F) du cadre dudit vélo (B).
