eine Spanneinheit 40 zugeordnet. Mittels dieser Spanneinheit 40 kann das
Gummiband 22 vorgespannt werden.A
Der rechten Transportwalze 21 ist eine Reinigungsvorrichtung 23 zugeordnet,
deren Funktionsweise nachstehend noch erläutert wird.The

Die Dehnvorrichtung 30 weist einen Antrieb 31 auf, der einen Stößel 32 linear
verfährt. Der Stößel 32 trägt an seinem, dem Antrieb 31 abgewandtem Ende
einen Stempel 33. Der Stempel 33 besitzt eine nach unten gewandte Stempelfläche
34. Die Stempelfläche 34 ist auf die Druckfläche 12 des Werkstückes 11
angepaßt ausgebildet und entsprechend gekrümmt.Between the two

Farbpartikel 27 werden Koronen 35 verwendet. Diese übertragen die Farbpartikel
27 auf den auflaufenden Trum 22.2 des Gummibandes 22. Die Farbpartikel 27
werden auf dem Gummiband 22 an der linken Transportwalze 21 vorbeitransportiert
und gelangen dann in den Bereich des ablaufenden Trummes 22.1. Wenn die
Farbpartikel 27, die beispielsweise ein Motiv gestalten, unterhalb der
Dehnvorrichtung 30 angelangt sind, wird die Transportwalze 21 gestoppt. Dann

- Printing apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the transfer element is assigned a cleaning apparatus (23), by means of which the supporting surface of the stretching element (22) can be cleaned after the printing operation has been completed.
- Printing apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the supporting surface of the stretching element (22) is provided with a silicone coating or is formed from a silicone rubber.
- Printing process with at least one transfer roll which can be charged up electrostatically and which can be charged with a toner as coating material on its roll surface, the coating material being applied indirectly or directly by the transfer roll to a supporting surface of a transfer element, and the coating material being applied by the transfer element, at least partly, to a workpiece to be coated, the transfer element having a stretching element (22) which forms the supporting surface, and the supporting surface being stretched in the surface direction by means of a stretching device (30), the stretching device (30) being assigned a corona which effects or assists the transfer of the coating material to the printing area (12) to be printed on the workpiece (11).
- Printing process according to Claim 8, characterized in that the stretching element (22), configured as a two-dimensional structure, is stretched one-, two- or three-dimensionally, at least in a subarea of the supporting surface.

characterized in that the transfer element (20) circulating as an endless belt is led past the stretching device (30), and
