Abstract

Bei Verdichtungszündungsmotoren wird, wenn ein oder mehrere Zylinder nicht zünden, Kraftstoff über das Auslasssystem des Motors ausgestoßen, wobei sich die Abgase derart verändern, dass eine als "Weißer Rauch" bekannte Erscheinung auftritt. Als Ergebnis strengerer Regierungs- sowie Verbraucheranforderungen bezüglich Kraftstoffverbrauch, Verhalten und Abgasen ist eine Reduzierung dieses weißen Rauchs wünschenswert.
Es wird ein Kraftstoffzufuhrsteuerungssystem (10) für einen Motor (12) mit einer Mehrzahl von Zylindern (26 - 36) und einer Kraftstoffzufuhreinheit (38) zur Steuerung der an die jeweiligen Zylinder (26 - 36) gelieferten Kraftstoffmenge in Abhängigkeit von an die Kraftstoffzufuhreinheit (38) gelieferten Steuersignalen, und einer Steuereinheit (40) zur Erzeugung dieser Steuersignale und ein Verfahren zur Steuerung der Kraftstoffzufuhr an einem mehrere Zylinder (26 - 36) aufweisenden Motor (12) vorgeschlagen.
