Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage haute intensité (2). Ce dispositif d'éclairage possède une source de lumière linéaire (4), un élément réfléchissant (6) et une zone translucide (14). La source de lumière linéaire et l'élément réfléchissant se trouvent normalement sur le même axe. L'élément réfléchissant, qui peut avoir diverses formes, fait en sorte que la lumière, qui devrait normalement être absorbée ou se propager à l'intérieur du boîtier (8), converge dans la zone translucide. La zone translucide possède un axe longitudinal qui coïncide avec l'axe commun des rayons lumineux dirigés dans une zone d'intérêt. En cas de besoin, on peut aussi utiliser une lentille (44) pour collimater les rayons lumineux, par exemple, une lentille cylindrique ou un ou plusieurs prismes (50).
