  • Figures 4 and 4a show another embodiment in which the attachment of the first profile with the ceiling is designed to be displaceable. Figure 4 shows this embodiment in the suspended state and Figure 4a in the unhooked state.

Claims (12)

  1. A method for constructing accessible suspended ceilings from plate elements (P) with grooves and fastening elements formed as profile systems, the profile systems comprising a first profile (1) adapted to be suspended from the ceiling and having an upwardly open groove (2), and a second profile (3) adapted to be fitted into said groove of the first profile (1), and both profiles on the upper side comprising a plate (4) and on the lower side comprise L-shaped widened portions (5) acting as springs,
    characterized in that, first, one or a plurality of plate elements (P) with two first profiles (1) are fastened to the ceiling in a rigid, height-adjustable but removable manner above the later contacting faces with the second profiles (3) by use of a suspension device (7), then, at distances in width direction of the plate elements, further plate elements with respectively two first profiles (1) are fastened to the ceiling in a rigid, height-adjustable but removable manner above the later contacting faces with the second profiles by use of a suspension device (7), and plate elements with two second profiles (3) are then fitted into the gaps, the suspension device (7) of the first profile extending so far toward the second profile that the attachment to the ceiling can be performed respectively exactly above the contacting surface of the two profiles.
  2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the ends of the profiles are connected to each other in a rigid but reversible manner.
  3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the groove of the first profile and said fitted connection of the second profile are located between the upper edge of the plate and the groove of the plate elements.
  4. The method according to any one of claims 1-3, characterized in that the second profile both on the plate and on the part of the L-shaped widened portion acting as a spring is provided with limiting projections (6) arranged at the same distance from the contacting surface of the two profiles as the border of the groove.
  5. The method according to any one of claims 1-4, characterized in that the connection of the ends of the profiles is realized by a displaceable and fixable metal rod.
  6. The method according to any one of claims 1-5, characterized in that the attachment of the first profiles to the ceiling is realized by threaded bolts and safety hooks.
  7. The method according to any one of claims 1-6, characterized in that the attachment of the first profiles to the ceiling is of the displaceable type.
  8. A profile system for suspended ceilings made from plate elements (P) with grooves, comprising a first profile (1) adapted to be suspended from the ceiling by a suspension device (7) and having an upwardly open groove (2), and a second profile (3) adapted to be fitted into said groove of the first profile, both profiles on the upper side comprising a plate (4) and on the lower side comprising L-shaped widened portions (5) acting as springs and adapted for engagement with the grooves of the plate elements,
    characterized in that the suspension device (7) of the first profile extends so far toward the second profile that the attachment to the ceiling can be performed respectively exactly above the contacting surface of the two profiles.
  9. The profile system according to claim 8, characterized in that the open groove of the suspendable first profile (1) and said fitted connection of the second profile (3) are located between the upper edge of the plate and the groove of the plate elements.
  10. The profile system according to claim 9, characterized in that the second profile (3) both on the plate and on the part of the L-shaped widened portion acting as a spring is provided with limiting projections (6) arranged at the same distance from the contacting surface of the two profiles as the border of the groove.
  11. The profile system according to any one of claims 8-10, characterized in that the profiles at least on their ends comprises a round or angular cavity.
  12. The profile system according to any one of claims 7-10, characterized in that the suspension device of the first profile is configured to be removable.
