Definitions
- the present invention relates to a system for reducing railway or road vibrations due to the passage of heavy loads (trains or trucks for example).
- viscoelastic multilayer complex antivibration for roads in particular for rail or road, comprising at least two superimposed layers constituted by an aerating structuring material, saturated with bituminous binder and covered with a felt.
- the first family of products consists of elastomeric rugs. These the latter are prefabricated and arranged under the railway ballast, in one or two overlapping layers. This product effectively dampens vibrations, but it is very expensive and it requires the manual implementation of a large number of strips elastomers. Its implementation is therefore slow and costly.
- An example of carpet elastomer is Isolif® which consists of a bilayer composed of notched bands, staggered. In this case, the product is expensive and cannot be implemented using high speed processing means.
- the second family consists of carpets made up of strips in strips of recycled tires. For the sake of economy, companies have looked into the development of carpets based on used tire treads.
- the setting work is similar to that of the products of the first family, so it is on the raw material that makes the difference.
- the product is judged sufficiently efficient by the RATP which uses it for its Metro trains. The establishment of this product is however also slow and expensive.
- bitumen or bituminous binder
- the compositions used in this application consist essentially of bitumen, polystyrene and a mineral filler. However, they are used as is, and not in a multilayer complex.
- Another French patent n ° 2 157 586 also uses modified bitumens with a synthetic resin (polystyrene type) and additives with fibers and a mineral filler to reduce vibrations. Bitumen brings behavior viscoelastic to the composition and the necessary stiffness fibers. However, this composition has only one layer and is used to obtain a body precast.
- a third French patent no. 2,582,010 describes the use of bitumen modified with SBS polymers (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) in sheet form comprising a hard layer, a membrane and a protective sheet which can serve as a bonding layer.
- SBS polymers Styrene Butadiene Styrene
- This patent does not describe a specific product but it describes a pure bitumen 180/200 modified by the addition of branched SBS polymers to from 5 to 30% by weight which can serve as a viscoelastic layer taken between two elastic layers in the constrained covering. Examples of layers given elastic are steel and aluminum. The process described therefore does not state of a multilayer complex and it only applies manually.
- the multilayer complex according to the invention greatly reduces vibrations while allowing its implementation at high speed with equipment commonly used in the art.
- the present invention therefore relates to a multilayer complex viscoelastic antivibration for roads, in particular for railways or roads, characterized in that it comprises at least two superposed layers, advantageously between 3 and 5, constituted by a ventilated structuring material saturated with bituminous binder, the viscosity of said bituminous binder being between 100 and 9 500 mPa.s at 140 ° C and the last layer is covered with a felt.
- anrated structuring material is meant within the meaning of this invention any ventilating structuring material having sufficient permeability to be saturated with bituminous binder.
- the aerating structuring material used in the present invention advantageously has a very low thermal sensitivity at temperatures of the order of 180 to 200 ° C. and even more advantageously, a surface density of at least 300 g / m 2 .
- this aerating structuring material is a geotextile, in particularly at high density.
- the aerated material structuring of the first layer of the complex according to the invention is different from that other layers and advantageously, it is a felt.
- the ventilating structuring material which can be used in the present invention may be type thermoplastic foam with low thermal sensitivity, advantageously based polyester, rock wool like products in the Autolene® range supplied by ISOVER and Cloisolène® LR supplied by TELSTAR, of the glass wool type like the products of the IBR® range, Panolène® and Cloisolène® LV supplied by TELSTAR, of the woven or non-woven geotextile type woven, based on artificial fibers, such as F.B.®400, FAE®500 and Blatex®700 supplied by SICAM, BIDIM®521, 531, 532, 541, 542, 551, 561, 571 and 582, the ROCK® PEC75, 100, 150 and 200 supplied by the company Frans Bon Subscribe and Feutrex® supplied by the company TEXIDEL.
- artificial fibers such as F.B.®400, FAE®500 and Blatex®700 supplied by SICAM, BIDIM®521, 531, 532, 541, 542, 551, 561, 571 and 5
- felt in the sense of the present invention all ventilated structuring material as defined above making it possible to avoid the punching of the ballast and / or ensuring a very low sensitivity of the complex thermal.
- a felt according to the present invention has a thickness of at least minus 5 mm.
- the felt is a needled nonwoven of natural fibers. and / or synthetic.
- Examples of felts usable in the present invention are two sewn thicknesses of Blatex® 800 supplied by SICAM, Feutrex® supplied by the company TEXIDEL, the Blatex®700 supplied by the company SICAM and the products of the IBR® range made up of glass wool felt supplied by the company TELSTAR.
- bituminous binder is meant within the meaning of this invention any bitumen modified or not.
- the bituminous binder used in the complex according to the invention can therefore be a modified bitumen and advantageously contain between 0.5 and 16.5% of EVA (Ethyl - Vinyl - Acetate copolymer).
- EVA Ethyl - Vinyl - Acetate copolymer
- bituminous binder can be dosed in the complex according to the invention between 1 and 5 kg / m 2 per layer, advantageously 3.5 kg / m 2 per layer.
- bituminous binder usable in the present invention are Mobilplast® B and Mobilplast® G7 supplied by the company Mobilef.
- the complex according to the invention may have a thickness of between 1 and 10 cm.
- Figure 1 shows the block diagram of an example of a complex according to the invention.
- bituminous binder cools between the application of each layer of the complex and the application of the felt.
- the felt is heated by points to improve its fixation on the complex.
- This process can be carried out using high-performance means rate. It therefore requires little manpower and a few machines, essentially a mechanical shovel or a lifting device which facilitates the placement of the layers ventilating structuring material and a binder spreader. These materials are commonly used in practice.
- the establishment of the complex is additionally done on edge surveys, preferably before that on surfaces horizontal.
- the aerating structuring material is used manually and the bituminous binder is spread with "edge jets" or with a lance with bituminous binder.
- the present invention also relates to the use of the complex according to the invention to dampen vibrations.
- the railway ballast (1) is then implemented on the felt (2) and the track is traditionally constructed of concrete sleepers or wood.
- this complex is located under the foundation or base layer.
- the method has the advantage of being continuous and of being implemented under the ballast or under the foundation or base layer for road application.
- the problems with punching caused by ballast and thermal sensitivity of the bituminous binder are resolved by the use of a felt.
- the water problem is solved by the use of bituminous binder impregnating the aerating structuring material. Groups of geotextile are not subjected to ultraviolet radiation which gives a sustainability of the system.
- accelerometers were placed in the tunnel to record micro-accelerations in three directions: vertical, transverse and longitudinal.
- the tables take up this decomposition.
- the second series of tests (table 2) carried out shows a data practical and known a priori: the speed of the TGV.
- the product according to the invention is comparable to an elastomeric mat.
- the efficiency of the elastomeric mat is higher.
- the complex to be tested is placed on a non-deformable support.
- a pot vibrating bearing a variable load (1.47 bar or 3.67 bar) is placed on the felt of the complex.
- the sensors are located between the vibrating pot and the complex and between the complex and non-deformable support.
- the whole is located in a climatic chamber at 21 ° C or 40 ° C.
- the first family contains the control and variants 1 and 3.
- the second family contains variants 2, 4, 5 and 6.
- Example 1 in the case of a road
- the complex according to the invention covers the horizontal parts of the roadway to go up on the edge, until -0.10 m from the finished sidewalk dimension (vertical surveys of 0.35 m).
- the Mobilplast® binder is used by a thermofluid spreader of 10,000 liters.
- the spreading temperature is 180 ° C.
- the first geotextile is spread over the grave concrete.
- the spreader uses the first layer of Mobilplast® binder. The operation is repeated three times, and ends with the placement of the felt.
- a vertical reading of 0.35 m on the edge is carried out.
- the attenuation is at least 20 decibels.
- Example 2 in the case of a railway track
- the Bidim® 550 g / m 2 is unrolled directly on the underlay.
- the overlap of the bands is 0.20 minimum.
- This layer receives 2.5 kg / m 2 of Mobilplast® B binder.
- This binder is spread using a special THERMOFLUID spreader at a temperature of 190 to 195 ° C.
- the unwinding was first carried out on a still hot binder.
- the shovel keeps the rollers as high as possible. They are therefore unrolled in the air, stretched and then the unrolled surface is placed all at once on the area to be cover.
- Bidim® B5 (235 g / m 2 ) is unwound, avoiding any overlapping of the overlap areas.
- the masking is done easily with the passage of the workers.
- the first layer of Bidim® B5 is in turn impregnated with 2.5 kg / m 2 of Mobilplast® B binder. Spreading the binder at 190 - 195 ° C makes it possible to obtain a perfect bonding of Bidim® on the previously spread binder.
- Feutrex® is unwound manually. This can be reheated in points to improve its fixation on the complex.
- the shovel is used to supply the rollers.
