Description

The invention relates to a chair mechanism for adjusting the seat and the Backrest with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Chair mechanics of a comparable type are known per se. For example, in this regard refer to AT 402 602 B and AT 405 124 B. In the specific embodiment the components that make up the chair mechanics are predominantly welded steel structures executed. These steel structures, which usually don't offer an aesthetic sight often from a large, plastic shell that is on the underside of the seat plate is fixed, covered and absorbed by it. These spacious plastic trays make the armchair appear heavy and chunky.

From EP-A-0 839 478 is an armchair mechanism for adjusting the seat and the Backrest known, the one carried by a vertical post and opposite this cantilevered base part. The base part consists of two shells and has almost U-shaped with two legs and a web. On the legs of the base part is A bracket for the inclusion of a seat plate via swiveling hinged brackets articulated, the back of which is connected to the base part via a linkage supporting the backrest is pivotally connected. The pivot bearing of this boom is close to the vertical Stayer. Between the base part and the carrier, a spring is provided, which is on supports two-part base part. The link plates are specially designed and have two Side walls that are connected to each other via two crossbars. to Connection to the base part is the hinge plate with the crossbar on one of the lower shell of the base part protruding, flat tongue stored after all components in the web-like or tongue-like receptacles provided in the lower shell are stored, the upper shell is put on and connected to the lower one. The assembly However, the components on the base part are relatively tedious because they have special connecting parts equipped components can easily fall out of their recordings. Specific Tying elements, such as the link plates, are relatively complex and expensive the production. The storage of the crossbars in the side walls appears little stable and prone to wear.

This is where the invention comes in, which aims to construct the chair mechanics in a way to be designed so that not only their structure and assembly compared to conventional Constructions are simplified, but also that they are an aesthetically pleasing sight offers.

The invention solves this complex problem through those features, content and subject of claim 1 are.

Appropriate configurations of the Invention are set out in the subclaims.

  • 5 and 6, the top and bottom view of the upper shell of the base part.
Das nach hinten - in Fig. 1 nach rechts - ausladende Gestänge 8 trägt die hier nicht dargestellte Rückenlehne.1 has a base part 1, which is at the upper end of a vertical Stored 2 of a conventional design not shown here and around it vertical axis is rotatable. This base part 1 laterally protrudes from the upright 2 off, and on the freely projecting front are pivotable about a horizontal axis 4 Handlebar 5 arranged, which in turn connected to the front of a plate-shaped carrier 6 are who has to take the seat plate, which is not shown here. The seat plate can be slidably mounted on this carrier 6. This connection between the handlebar 5 and the carrier 6 is also hinge-like, and the axis 7 of this hinge-like connection lies parallel to the axis 4. The rear side of the carrier 6 is hinge-like around the axis 9 is pivotally connected to the base part 1 by means of a linkage 8, the linkage 8 is also hinged to the base part 1 and the axis 10 of this hinge-like Connection is close to the vertical post 2. That to the rear - to the right in Fig. 1 - protruding Linkage 8 carries the backrest, not shown here.

The chair mechanism discussed above is a synchronous chair mechanism, this means that the seat and backrest are common, but different Angles are adjustable.

In order to keep the chair mechanism in a predetermined position, a spring 11 is provided, which is - seen from above - the central section of the base part 1 and one end thereof can be fixed to a bolt forming the pivot axis 7 and the other end thereof is supported on a support bolt, the axis 12 of which lies in the same plane as the axes 4 and 10 of the hinge-like linkages. For reasons of clarity, details are this spring is not shown, which is otherwise designed so that it with respect to their respective active power is adjustable. As a rule, this is a spring combination, consisting of a mechanical coil spring and a central spring Air spring. To adjust the spring force, a lever, not shown here, must be provided.

Ferner liegen die Achsen 4, 10 und 12 in dieser Trennebene.FIG. 2 now shows the base part 1 from the side as in FIG. 1, the ones described above Components are removed. This base part has a V-shape when viewed from above or from below (FIGS. 3 to 6) with two legs 13 and a web 14 connecting these legs 13. This base part 1 consists of two shells, namely a lower shell 15 and an upper shell 16, the for example, can be made of die-cast aluminum. The parting plane 17 of these two Shells 15 and 16 pass through the web 14 and the two legs 13. Furthermore, the axes are located 4, 10 and 12 in this parting plane.

One in web 14 provided bore 18 with a larger diameter takes the upper end of the vertical Stand up 2. Furthermore, a groove 19 open on both sides is provided in this web 14, which serves to receive a bearing pin which forms the axis 10. On this bearing pin with the axis 10, the linkage 8 is articulated. In addition, 15 are one-sided in this shell open, channel-like depressions 20, 21 and 22 provided in pairs, which are cylindrical and which serve to receive bearing bolts and support bolts. These bearing and support bolts are indicated here by dashed lines. This for Formation of the bearing provided recesses 20, 21 and 22 are in the legs 13 of Shell 15 molded. These paired groove-like depressions 20, 21 and 22 are closed on the sides facing away from each other, so that these recesses have defined depths measured in the plane of the drawing. Bores 23 in this shell 15 are used to hold screws with which the two shells 15 and 16 together be tense.

The upper shell 16 (FIGS. 5 and 6) has a contour congruent with the lower shell 15 on, here too there are recesses 20, 21 with the shell 15 in a congruent position and 22. These recesses form when the shells are screwed together and combined and 16 bearings for receiving the ends of the bearing bolts and support bolts that pass through here dashed lines are symbolized. The free ends of the respective legs 13 are fork-like designed. In the extensions 24 of this fork-like design, the above-described, depressions 20 and 21 arranged in pairs.

During assembly, one of the two upwardly open shells, for example the Shell 16. the bearing or support bolts inserted into the recesses 20, 21 and 22, the at the free ends of the legs 13 provided bearing bolts with the handlebars 5 be equipped. Through the design and shaping of the wells described here 20, 21 and 22, these bearing and support bolts are clearly and securely positioned. On the shell 16 prepared in this way is now placed on the second shell 15 and subsequently the two shells 15 and 16 are connected by means of screws which extend from the bores 23 be included. The two congruent channels 19 in the web 14 then form a continuous cylindrical bore for receiving a bearing pin on which the Linkage 8 is articulated.

The base part 1 designed in this way thus gives the viewer a closed impression, since no front ends of bolts are visible and for this reason no arrangement must be provided to secure the bolts positionally. The handlebars 5 are in the fork-like Formations of the free ends of the legs 13 between those forming the fork Extensions 24 arranged.

The bore 25 visible in FIG. 2 in the base part 1 serves to receive an actuating lever, with which, for example, the spring can be influenced. Because of this closed Construction of the base part dispenses with the arrangement of a large and bulky cover, that prevents the view of the chair mechanism.
