   Dank der erfindungsgemässen Massnahme kann die Sitzplatte 5 bei aufrechter Lehne nach vorne geneigt sein, wobei das Ausmass dieser Neigung einstellbar ist, und zwar stufenlos. Die Einstellung kann aber auch so   gewählt   werden, dass bei aufrechter Lehne die Sitzplatte eine Neigung nach hinten aufweist. die jeweilige Neigung der Sitzplatte 5, sei es nach vorne oder nach hinten, ist abhängig von der jeweiligen Lage des verstellbaren Endes 19 des Schwinghebels 10 entlang seines Verstellweges. Beim gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel liegt die Gewinde- oder Schraubenspindel 20 im wesentlichen horizontal.

   Für die hier beschriebene Verstellung können aber auch andere geeignete Getriebeglieder eingesetzt werden, beispielsweise ein Keilgetriebe oder ein Hebelgetriebe mit einer Kulissenführung.   ZweckmässIgerweise   werden solche Getnebeelemente eingesetzt werden, die bei geringem Bauvolumen eine Feineinstellung mit geringem Kraftaufwand ermöglichen. Wesentlich für die Verstellung des einen Endes des Schwinghebels 10 ist, dass durch sie die Neigung des Schwinghebels gegenüber der Horizontalen verändert wird und damit die Neigung der Sitzplatte   5,   die den erwähnten Winkelbereich umfasst, wobei die Verstellung so gewählt ist, dass die Sitzplatte 5 sowohl nach vorne wie auch nach hinten geneigt eingestellt werden kann.
