Definitions
- the invention relates to a contact socket for receiving a circular connector with a sheet metal longitudinally slotted sleeve cage, the front with Connection claws for connection to an electrical Cable core is provided with several radially deformable Contact spring elements.
- Such contact sockets are for receiving in housings of Multiple plugs determine and serve one each Record round plug, the axial in the contact socket is introduced.
- Elastic deformable contact spring elements serve to establish electrical contact between the Contact socket and the recorded round plug to manufacture and maintain reliably in operation, where a predetermined electrical transmission resistance must not be exceeded. That's why it is required, a sufficiently high contact pressure regardless of the location and the respective Maintain tolerance deviations. At the same time But this contact pressure should not be too high the insertion of the circular connector is not too high a mechanical one Resistance is opposed.
- the known contact sockets of the type mentioned EP 0 568 927 A1
- a separate resilient contact insert added the deformable contact spring elements forms.
- the sleeve cage is large enough Sheet thickness executed to the desired mechanical To give strength of the contact socket.
- Spring insert made of relatively thin spring plate executed to the deformable contact spring elements to give sufficient elasticity.
- the contact spring elements are in the known contact socket as a longitudinal, stripes arched inward in its central region executed at both ends with the spring insert are connected in one piece.
- This two-part version of the contact socket is with relatively high manufacturing costs associated because both parts manufactured separately and assembled into each other Need to become.
- the thin-walled version of the Contact spring elements is their travel because of clamping on both sides only very limited, so that at strong tolerance deviations of the circular connector, for example, also as a result of wear and / or severe except for the central position of the round plug in the contact socket not always the required contact pressure is ensured so that an impermissibly high Contact resistance occurs.
- the object of the invention is therefore a contact socket train the genre mentioned at the beginning so that they are simple to manufacture and assemble, but at the same time over one a large travel of their contact spring elements ensures sufficient contact pressure.
- the Contact spring elements are designed as contact spring arms, at one end in one piece with the sleeve cage are connected and at their other, free end one Form contact shoe.
- each contact spring arm one in front of the Has contact shoe ending longitudinal slot.
- This Longitudinal slot is the cross-sectional area of the Contact spring arm so reduced that it has a high Has spring elasticity.
- the two on both sides of the Longitudinal slot remaining strips of metal Contact spring arms cause, however, in particular through their Mutually spaced arrangement a high Lateral stability.
- the one-piece sleeve cage preferably has between the Low-contact longitudinal cage bars. This Cage bars give the sleeve cage despite of this stamped contact spring arms a sufficiently high Dimensional stability.
- the cage bars are advantageously with one common socket end ring on the connecting claws opposite one-piece connector end connected. Thereby the sleeve cage receives a high degree of dimensional stability overall.
- the longitudinal cage bars are expedient at least in the area of the contact shoes radially inwards deformed and give the contact shoes of the contact spring arms thereby an additional lateral guidance, in particular when exceptionally high lateral forces on the Contact shoes are exercised.
- the contact socket shown in the drawing is for Inclusion of a circular connector provided.
- Several of these Contact sockets are housed in a housing Multiple connector arranged and each with one Line wire connected.
- the contact socket is formed in one piece from sheet metal. She has a partially longitudinally slotted sleeve cage 1, the front on one end with connecting claws 2 for Provide connection with an electrical wire is. Further flaps 2a arranged on the face serve for Stabilization of the contact socket in the housing of the Multiple connector. From an essentially tubular Section 3 of the contact socket punched stops 4 and Stop tongues 5 are used to lock the contact socket in Casing.
- the sleeve cage 1 has several longitudinal, in Circumferential distance from each other arranged cage bars 6, the at one end with the tubular section 3 and the socket end opposite the connecting claws 2 connected in one piece to a common socket end ring 7 are.
- each contact spring arm between each two cage bars 6 8 arranged at one end with the sleeve-shaped section 3 of the sleeve cage 1 in one piece connected and at its other, free end one Contact shoe 9 forms.
- Each contact spring arm 8 has one in front of the contact shoe 9 ending longitudinal slot 10, the expands towards the contact shoe 9.
- the contact shoe 9 is inclined towards the outside angled end portion 9a of the contact arm 8 is formed.
- the contact arm 8 extends from it Junction with the sleeve-shaped section 3 each inclined slightly inwards.
- the longitudinal cage bars 6 are at least in Area of the contact shoes 9 deformed radially inwards and therefore form lateral stops for the contact shoes 9, if a high lateral force is exerted on them.
- everyone Cage bar 6 has a longer, slightly inward angled, starting from section 3 Longitudinal section 6a and one of them steeper to the outside ascending section 6b with the bushing end ring 7 is integrally connected.
- a longitudinal parting line 11 (Fig. 2) between two adjacent cage bars 6 forms the longitudinal slot of the Sleeve cage 1, which is technically necessary because the entire contact socket from one piece Sheet metal blank is formed.
