Die sich durch den sehr sperrigen und schwer zu handhabenden separaten Frequenzumrichter ergebenden Nachteile für den Betrieb eines derartigen Innenrüttlers haben zu der Entwicklung eines Innenrüttlers geführt, bei dem der Frequen- zumformer mit dem Schalter zu einem miniaturisierten Schaltergehäuse zusammengefaßt ist. Ein derartiger Innenrüttler wird in der EP 0 604 723 beschrieben und hat sich in der Praxis hervorragend bewährt. Die Anordnung von Bauelementen des Frequenzumformers an bestimmten Stellen im Innenrüttler bietet andererseits die Möglichkeit, die Komponenten zielgerichtet dort einzubauen, wo sie besonders zweckmäßig untergebracht werden können. Ebenfalls ist es möglich, das Ende des Schutzschlauches 2 derart zu vulka- nisieren, daß es in das Elektrokabel 7 übergeht. Bei gleichzeitiger Integration des Schalters und des Frequenzumformers in das Steckergehäuse 9, den Schutzschlauch 2 oder das Rüttelgehäuse 1 wird ein Innenrüttler mit glatten Außenkonturen ohne Ausbuchtungen geschaffen, der dementsprechend eine ausgezeichnete Schlupffähigkeit aufweist.
