Abstract

The engine has a horizontal turbine whose turbine shaft (3) is extended into the turbine intake region and connected to the belt drive transmission (4). The engine is mounted on a support (5) that can be releasably secured to points in the mid-region of the helicopter fuselage. Mounted in the support are a rotor shaft (1), a transmission system and the engine.
