Abstract

Figure 00000001
A method and a device for recovering the exhaust gas energy of a metallurgical process from a melting vessel (1), which is operated predominantly in a gas-tight manner, can be carried out with reduced losses by branching off at least a portion of the amount of energy contained in the process gas to be removed from the exhaust gas line (4) and mixed with fresh air or transferred to fresh air and immediately returned to the metallurgical process.
