  2. Sanitary ware according to claim 1, characterized in that the insert (10) is adapted to cap the fixing rod (7).
  3. Sanitary ware according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the insert (10) comprises a cylindrical body comprising two portions, the first portion (15) having dimensions which are adapted to fit a portion of the inner wall of the orifice (11), the second portion (16) located in the extension f the first portion (15) having a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the first portion (15).
  4. Sanitary ware according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the insert (10) comprises a tapered head (14) the dimensions of which are adapted to bear against the periphery of the orifice (11).

  6. Sanitary ware according to one of claims 1 to 5 comprising, as an accessory, a toilet seat (21) comprising a mounting member (22, 31), characterized in that said locking means (10) comprise means (18, 30) for fixing said mounting member (22, 31) of the abat (21).
  7. Sanitary ware according to claim 6, characterized in that said fixing means comprise an internal screw thread (18) for cooperation with a screw thread on said mounting member (22) of the toilet seat (21).
