Abstract

Seat (2) and cover (3) are fastened to a toilet bowl (5), to which at least one joint part (4) is attached, including a support part (6) with fastener (7). Axle parts (8) have a mounting aperture (10) which fits on a pin (9) attached to the support, to fasten the seat and cover to the bowl detachably. Either side of the mounting portion of the axle part is a projection, the inner one (8.1) holding the seat and the outer one holding the cover, each of which has a bore to receive the respective projection. At least one of the parts, pref. the cover, includes a lateral aperture which is slightly smaller than the associated axle projection.
