Abstract

Die Zahnradförderpumpe weist ein Gehäuse auf, in dem zwischen einem Gehäuseteil (10) und einem Deckelteil (12) eine Pumpkammer (14) gebildet ist, in der ein rotierend angetriebenes Paar von an ihrem Aussenumfang miteinander kämmender Zahnräder (16,18) angeordnet ist, die ein Fördermedium entlang zwischen dem Aussenumfang der Zahnräder (16,18) und Umfangswänden der Pumpkammer (14) gebildeten Förderkanälen in einen Druckraum fördern. Das Deckelteil (12) weist an seiner den Stirnseiten der Zahnräder (16,18) zugewandten Innenseite eine Vertiefung (50) mit einem Querschnitt auf, der wenigstens so gross ist wie der Querschnitt der Stirnseiten der Zahnräder (16,18). Zwischen dem Deckelteil (12) und den Stirnseiten der Zahnräder (16,18) ist ein die Vertiefung (50) überdeckendes plattenförmiges Abdeckelement (52) angeordnet, das zumindest wenn die Zahnradförderpumpe nicht in Betrieb ist, unter Vorspannung an den Stirnseiten der Zahnräder (16,18) anliegt und das von den Stirnseiten der Zahnräder (16,18) weg in die Vertiefung (50) ausweichen kann.
