Abstract

An anti-soiling finish for textiles, especially floor coverings, uses highly-absorbent swollen polymer particles and organic fiber pieces as the carrier for the anti-soiling agent which is optionally used with a solvent and additives.

Description

The invention relates to a means for dirt-inhibiting equipment for textile surfaces, in particular textile floor coverings.

Known agent for dirt-inhibiting equipment, for example. One Carpets serve to delay the re - soiling of the Carpet, especially after a treatment of the same with a Carpet cleaners. Such anti-soiling agents are usually based on fluorocarbon resin and are in liquid form on the sprayed area sprayed and then with a brush or the like massaged and distributed. It proves to be disadvantageous that the, for example, sprayed with household spray bottles means not can be evenly distributed. Also the training with a Brush device does not achieve even distribution. The means having the means Liquid from the bristles does not adhere to any fiber of the textile floor covering brought. In addition, when spraying the agent, the environment, such as For example. Skirting, furniture, hard floor, etc., dirty.

From EP-A-0392248 a cleaning agent is known, which is a carrier material from highly absorbent, swollen polymer particles and organic Has fiber particles.

Based on the above-mentioned prior art is the Invention the task is based, a means for dirt-inhibiting Specify equipment for textile surfaces, with simplified handling Avoid environmental pollution.

This object is achieved in the subject matter of claim 1. The Active ingredient solution may be a fluorocarbon resin or a polysiloxane derivative or alternatively a combination of a fluorocarbon resin formulation and a polysiloxane derivative exhibit. As a result of the composition according to the invention is the dirt-inhibiting drug solution, such as Fluorocarbon resin, via an intermediate carrier, such as. B. Cellulose or other known carriers applied. The agent of the invention is in the simplest Way to the upgraded, textile flooring sprinkled and hereafter, for example, by means of a brushing device incorporated into the flooring. environment pollution are avoided. Another Advantage of the composition of the invention is the improved over conventional, soil-inhibiting agents Soiling. This results in that a degree of contamination after cleaning the textile Floor covering significantly reduced accordingly is, so that after cleaning a pollution degree is reached, which is the one with a conventional Cleaning agent treated soil corresponds. To further increase the cleaning effect can be provided Be that means continue to be a textile cleaner contains, which preferably a surfactant or a Has surfactant mixture. This may be a anionic, nonionic, cationic or else amphoteric surfactant, with anionic surfactants however, are more effective for the cleaning action than nonionic or amphoteric surfactants. Here it turns out the composition according to the invention with a carrier material such as cellulose as beneficial to that the attached to this active ingredients continue to be effective stay. It is known to have the cationic particle Antisoil anti-soiling products not included anionic surfactants are compatible for cleaning. These neutralize themselves in solutions and become ineffective. The two active ingredients need their charge in order to One with the carpet fibers (Antisoil; Agent) and on the other hand with the dirt (surfactant; to contact. The carrier material, especially cellulose has a different one Affinity to the respective components, which accordingly of the carrier material in different concentrations sucked up and attached to the outside of the fibers. Thus, the cationic and neutralize anionic particles are not, according to which both components through the catalyst-like carrier material remain effective. In a preferred embodiment of Subject of the invention is the carrier material with water offset, whereby further a mixture of at the Surface of the water-saturated polymer particles deposited organic fiber particles with a drug solution is provided. As a carrier material for example, highly absorbent in the dry state, thereafter swollen polymer particles - so-called superabsorbent used, together with organic fiber particles, which fiber particles on the surface of Polymer particles are attached. The highly absorbent, swollen polymer particles create the necessary Volume and the necessary surface through a high, bound in the polymer particles. Water content. The carrier material or the absorbent Material is fully available on the carpet surface. It tends to agglomerate formation, so it not in the carpet "sands". The organic fiber particles are on the surface of the swollen polymer particles attached. They are therefore very well distributed and it's just a small amount of organic Fiber particles required. Another essential Advantage is to see that very variable formulations especially the soil-inhibiting substance possible are. For example. may in this regard fluorocarbon resin preparations and / or polysiloxane derivatives as Anti-dirt agents in conjunction with an intermediate carrier of the mentioned type are used. In Another embodiment provides that the polymer particles consist of a polyacrylate. Especially preferred is a crosslinked, partially as the sodium salt present polyacrylic acid. Such highly absorbent Polymers can be multiple of their own weight absorb on aqueous liquids. in this connection A gel forms, but its nature varies can be. Such highly absorbent polymers give the aqueous liquid, d. H. in all Usually ordinary water that they have taken up even under pressure not or only to a relatively small Part off. In the context of the invention is preferred that the gel is the texture of a granular mass (Caviar structure). This is very small Polymer particles formed spherical structure, with a diameter of about 10-1000 microns in the swollen Status. Accordingly, there is a very large Surface. The organic fibers can have a diameter of 5-30 μm and a length of 50-400 μm. These are preferably cellulose fibers. Furthermore, customary auxiliaries and fragrances, such as preservatives, antistatic, etc. provided be.

From the diagram in Fig. 1 it can be seen that in particular compared to conventional, in liquid Form applied dirt-repellent agents W the invention, provided with a carrier material, Dirt-repellent agent WT over a period of several Week the re-soiling of the treated carpet better inhibits. So corresponds the degree of pollution Delta E of the solution WT over a first soiling period A 'about 0.5 to 0.8 times the known solution W. After a first Cleaning R 'is using the agent WT reaches about a degree of pollution Delta E, which the one with a conventional cleaning agent H treated carpet corresponds.

As the bar graph in Fig. 2 shows, the soiling behavior is one with one Medium WT treated carpet compared to one a conventional, dirt-repellent agent W treated Soil improved significantly. Especially after several soiling phases (A 'to A' '' ') and purification phases (R 'to R' '' ') show clear differences.

Due to the significantly reduced soiling is also the degree of pollution Delta E after a cleaning (R ' to R '' '') correspondingly substantially reduced, so that after cleaning, a degree of pollution Delta E is reached, which is the one with a conventional Detergent H treated soil corresponds.

Zellulose). To further increase the cleaning effect, the agent WT may be provided with further surfactants. So an exemplary mix WT 'can consist of: 4.9525 Proportions of water 0.0225 Proportions of preservative 0.0250 Proportions of acrylate 24.8500 Proportions of water 1.4500 Proportions of cleaning agent (preferably surfactants) 32.5000 Proportions of active ingredient solution (soil-inhibiting substance, for example fluorocarbon resin) 0.2000 Proportions of perfume oil 1.0000 Proportions of preservative 35.0000 Shares of carrier material (eg cellulose).

The bar chart shows the opposite of the Solution WT still improved cleaning effect of extended solution WT '. The latter shows the good cleaning properties from conventional carpet cleaners with improved behavior in terms of Resoiling.

Weitere beispielhafte Mischungen WT beziehungsweise WT' können bestehen aus: 4,9525 Anteile Wasser 0,0225 Anteile Konservierungsmittel 0,0250 Anteile Acrylat 25,9000 Anteile Wasser 0,4000 Anteile Reinigungsmittel (bevorzugt Tenside) 32,5000 Anteile Wirkstofflösung (schmutzhemmende Substanz, bspw. Fluorcarbonharz) 35,0000 Anteile Trägermaterial (bspw. Zellulose) Further exemplary mixtures WT or WT 'can consist of: 4.9525 Proportions of water 0.0225 Proportions of preservative 0.0250 Proportions of acrylate 25.9000 Proportions of water .4000 Proportions of cleaning agent (preferably surfactants) 32.5000 Proportions of active ingredient solution (soil-inhibiting substance, for example fluorocarbon resin) 35.0000 Carrier material (eg cellulose) or 4.9525 Proportions of water 0.0225 Proportions of preservative 0.0250 Proportions of acrylate 25.6500 Proportions of water 1.4500 Shares wetting agent 0.40000 Proportions of cleaning agent (preferably surfactant) 32.5000 Proportions of active ingredient solution (dirt-inhibiting substance, for example fluorocarbon resin) 35.0000 Proportions carrier material (eg cellulose)

Fluorocarbon resin as a soil inhibitor is used in Dependence on the solids content of the active substance in 1.0 to Used 70 percent by weight.

By the inventive equipment of dirt-retardant Means is in addition to the prevention of the known Environmental degradation improved handling reached. In addition, this proves to be with the Intermediate applied de-staining agents too with regard to a re-soiling of the treated Belages as beneficial. Opposite the known, in liquid form applied by spraying agent is an improved long-term re-pollution effect reached.

Furthermore, by the arrangement of the protective-inhibiting Agent and the cleaning agent on the carrier material ensures that they do not neutralize but to connect with the carpet fibers (dirt-repellent agent) or with the dirt (cleaning agent) remain effective.
