Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a double-flow centrifugal fan impeller in which air is supplied or sucked in from the two opposite axial sides and is removed or blown off radially with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
Ein derartiges zweiflutiges Radialventilator-Laufrad ist beispielsweise im Prospekt der Anmelderin "Gebhardt Ventilator, Das Programm" 1995, Seite 11, dargestelltKnown double-flow centrifugal fan impellers are formed by mounting two single-flow centrifugal fan impellers by attaching them each with their support disk sides together. This results in at least twice the cost and twice the production cost of a single-flow impeller. In addition, two different separate single-flow impellers are needed. Such a double-flow centrifugal fan impeller, for example, in the brochure of the applicant "Gebhardt fan, The Program" 1995,
From GB-A-2 142 985 a double-flow centrifugal fan impeller according to the preamble of claim 1 is known. When mounting this impeller, the blades are welded to the center of the support disc. In order to be able to do this, the individual blades would have to be fixed to the support disk in a manner not described there before welding in order to ensure an exact fit. However, such fixing by means of clamping devices is labor-intensive, especially These devices must then be removed again.
From US-A-2 653 755 it is known to provide slots in the recesses of the support disk to fix the blades by means of an angular support plate at these recesses can. This angular support plate must be welded to both an edge region of the slot, as well as with the respective blade, which in turn means a costly effort.
The object of the present invention is to simplify the manufacture of a double-flow centrifugal fan impeller to reduce manufacturing costs.
This object is achieved by a dual-flow centrifugal fan impeller with the features of claim 1.
The advantages of the impeller according to the invention are, in particular, that compared to the known double-flow impellers, only a single support disk and half the number of blades are required. Since these blades cut the plane of the support disc, they can be more optimally connected to the support disc compared to the conventional construction, in which the blades are each butt welded to the support discs. Not only does this reduce the number of parts needed, it also simplifies assembly and helps reduce costs. By eliminating a support disc over the known embodiments, in which two single-flow wheels are assembled, the total weight is reduced, or the support plate can for the requirements of a double-flow Impeller be optimized. By distributed over the circumference edge-side recesses, the support disc has a saw blade-like shape, wherein each one of the two limiting the recesses edge surface is designed as a receiving surface for a blade, which allows a more stable connection with the support plate over conventional constructions. The receiving surfaces are advantageously extended in each case by a slot recess into which the respective blade can be used with its central end portion for easy pre-assembly before welding.
The measures listed in the dependent claims advantageous refinements and improvements of claim 1 impeller are possible.
The receiving surfaces have projections for engagement in corresponding recesses of the blades. This allows even easier and better pre-assembly before welding, with even design of the projections and recesses even locking and clamping connections are possible without welding. Even adhesive bonds are made possible with good strength.
In the impeller according to the invention bent blades and / or curved blades and / or inclined blades can be used in the support plate plane.
The free ends of the blades are suitably welded or glued to the cover plates.
The support plate is provided in a conventional manner with a drive hub to allow a good connection with a drive shaft. The support plate is expediently designed as a cost-effective metal plate.

The twin-flow radial fan impeller shown in the figures is for installation in a double-flow centrifugal fan with volute, as shown in the prior art mentioned above. The drive is carried out by an electric motor via a drive shaft, not shown.
The impeller consists of a centrally arranged
The one-
