Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gehäuses (12) für einen Drosselklappenstutzen (10), das eine besonders hohe Formstabilität aufweisen soll. Hierbei wird vor dem Spritzgussverfahren gegen die Innenfläche (33) des Metallzylinders (28) ein Spreizkern (50) gespreizt. Während des Spritzgussverfahrens ist die Innenfläche (33) des Metallzylinders (28) zumindest teilweise von dem Spreizkern (50) abgestützt. Nach dem Spritzgussverfahrens erfolgt zur Entfernung des Spreizkerns (50) aus dem Innenraum (70) des Metallzylinders (28) eine Verringerung des Aussenumfangs (80) des Spreizkerns (50).
