Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von Nebenformelementen wie Aushalsungen, Ausbauchungen, erhabenen länglichen Flachstellen und dergleichen an länglichen, umfänglich geschlossenen Hohlprofilen (1) mittels Innenhochdruckumformen. Das Nebenformelement wird durch Aufweiten des Hohlprofiles mit einem in diesem erzeugten Fluidhochdruck lokal ausgeformt und während des Ausformvorganges von einem mit zunehmender Ausformung nach außen ausweichenden Gegenstempel (13) gesteuert abgestützt. Um eine Erweiterung der Verfahrensgrenzen bei der Herstellung eines Nebenformelementes hinsichtlich einer Vergrößerung seiner Höhe prozeßsicher und in einfacher Weise zu erreichen wird vorgeschlagen, daß das Hohlprofil an der Stelle des zu erzeugenden Nebenformelementes von dem Gegenstempel eingestülpt wird, wonach das Hohlprofilmaterial im Bereich (16) der Einstülpstelle (17) durch Fluidhochdruck am Stempel umfänglich und stirnseitig angepreßt wird. Nach dem Einstülpvorgang wird das Hohlprofil unter Innenhochdruck durch Zurückziehen des ständig am Hohlprofil anliegenden Stempels ausgestülpt und das Nebenformelement (11) gebildet.

The secondary form element is locally formed by widening the hollow profile with a high pressure of fluid generated therein and is supported in a controlled manner during the shaping process by a counter-punch (13) which escapes with increasing form. In order to achieve a process-safe and simple extension of the process limits in the manufacture of a secondary molding element with regard to increasing its height, it is proposed that the hollow profile be inserted at the location of the secondary molding element to be produced by the counter-punch, after which the hollow profile material in the region (16) of the The insertion point (17) is pressed circumferentially and at the end face by high-pressure fluid on the stamp. After the insertion process, the hollow profile is turned out under high internal pressure by pulling back the plunger which is constantly in contact with the hollow profile and the secondary molding element (11) is formed.
