- the above-described retaining clip has been proposed, which can be pushed onto the upper edge portion of a roof tile and secured thereto. It is not a storm clamp for the fixation of roof tiles on the roof substructure, but a replacement for the missing hanging nose of an obliquely cut roof tile.
- a retaining clip is from the DE 196 47 528 C1 known.
- the clear width between the legs can be changed by an adjusting device connecting the legs.
- a screw or a rivet with transverse grooves on the shaft is provided, so that the roofer during installation requires an additional tool to attach the retaining clip to a roof tile.

Description
The invention relates to a retaining clip for a roof tile with a substantially U-shaped base body and protruding from the inner surfaces of both legs pointed projections.
When laying a roof tile, for example in the area of a ridge or a throat, the roof tile is in each case adapted to the structural conditions of the roof. The adaptation is done by removing a section of the roof tile at the top or bottom with an oblique cut. In this case, one of the arranged on the underside of the roof tile hanging noses is often removed, so that the adapted roof tile is no longer suspended in the usual way on a roof batten. The roofer manages by piercing the roof tile and fastened with a screw or a wire to the roof substructure. Such attachment is time and material consuming, because often break the break-sensitive roof tiles during drilling.
The invention has for its object to provide a suitable for both the ridge and the throat retaining clip available without additional Tool can be securely attached to roof tiles of different thickness.
According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the body is rigid and the projections are resilient. Due to the rigid construction of the body, the legs always run parallel to each other. Depending on the thickness of the tile, the projections spring more or less strong.
The sliding of the retaining clip on a roof tile is facilitated when the projections project obliquely from the legs and point with their tips to the base of the body. Due to the oblique arrangement of the projections, these hook on the roof tile, so that the deferred retaining clip is connected to the roof tile tensile strength.
A simple and inexpensive production of the retaining clip is possible if the projections are arranged on the side edges of the legs. In this case, only outgoing from the edge obliquely to the free end of the legs extending cuts in the inserted sheet should be introduced. In a subsequent operation, the surface portions lying between the edge and the cut are bent obliquely out of the plane of the flat material, so that these surface portions form pointed projections.
The retaining clip practically does not bear in the covering area of two roof tiles when lower projections are arranged on the leg to be arranged on the top side of the roof tile than on the other leg.
The sliding of the retaining clip on a roof tile is additionally facilitated if the legs of the body are different lengths. In this case, the retaining clip can be set at an angle and thus has between the free ends of the legs a greater clearance than the actual distance between the two legs.
So that the retaining clip can also be fastened to relatively thin roof tiles, higher projections can be arranged on the leg to be arranged on the underside of the roof tile. Preferably, higher protrusions are provided on the longer leg than on the shorter leg.
A secure hold of the roof tile in the retaining clip is achieved if at least two projections are provided on each of the legs.
At the shorter leg more than two projections may be provided.
A particularly rigid embodiment of the base body of the retaining clip is possible if the base body has at least one bead extending in the longitudinal direction of the legs and extending over the base. As a result, a stiffening is achieved.
In order to connect the provided with the retaining clip roof tile with the roof substructure, the main body may be connected to a fastening means. As a fastener, for example, serve a wire or a belt. The fastening means may wrap around the main body or be firmly connected to it, for example by spot welding.
In the drawing, a preferred embodiment of the invention is shown, which will be explained in more detail below.
