Definitions

  • the present invention relates to devices for drawing textile fiber ribbons and, more specifically, bars of chain gills.
  • the socket 19a has wings 30a projecting from the slot 18a when it is in place in the bore 17a. These wings 30a allow the socket 19a to be pinched at using a tool to bring the wings together the other and to authorize its installation in the bore 17a.
  • the material of the socket 19a being elastic, the latter has tendency to return to its original shape and the wings 30a are thus brought into contact with the walls of the slot 18a.
  • the socket 19a For mount the bar on the chains, the socket 19a must be positioned inside the bore 17a so that that it emerges from it to be able to style sufficiently the axis 13a of the chain and that it comes in contact with the heel 7a of the next bar.
  • a split ring 20a is placed, itself of elastic material, straddling the socket 19a opposite the notches in the wings 30a of the socket 19a because the pressure exerted by the wings 30a of the socket against the walls of the slot 18a is not sufficient to keep the longitudinal position of the socket 19a in bore 17a.
  • To mount the split ring 20a we move aside the wings (using a screwdriver for example) so that clip it onto the socket 19a.
  • the split ring 20a guarantees, by abutment against edges of the bore, that the sleeve 19a is partly projection of bore 17a, from a distance slightly less than the distance between the side of which opens the bore and heel 7a of the next bar, the bars being arranged alternately in one direction and in the other.
  • the clearance thus created between the sleeve and the heel allows this one to move slightly longitudinally and rotate relative to the A axis without wear by friction of the sleeve on the heel.
  • the socket is in the position necessary for the machine to work properly and this position is guaranteed by the cooperation of the ring 20a split with the wings.
  • the assembly operation is carried out in two steps: placing the sleeve in the bore (and its longitudinal pre-positioning in the bore) and then the installation of the split ring over the socket.
  • This second step is particularly delicate and laborious. It requires a good dexterity of the operator who sometimes does not succeed the operation on the first try and lose the split rings.
  • the socket is not maintained well enough inside the bore and it's subject to small axial displacements.
  • the radial clearance between the outside surface of the sleeve and the wall of the bore causes the formation of a deposit by material oxidation, which is conventionally called contact oxidation, which little by little fixes the bushing to the walls of the bore and prevents its extraction.
  • the present invention proposes to remedy these disadvantages in particular by removing the second stage of mounting, and preventing the formation of contact rust.
  • the ring which cooperated with the first positioning element, wings of the socket, was a mobile insert that is easy to lose. By integrating it with the end part, we simplify the installation of the socket and its positioning.
  • the bore has a circular cross section and the sleeve is elastic, split and the straight section of the sleeve is made up a basic section and two curved return sections, the radii of curvature of the return sections being lower than that of the base section.
  • the second positioning element is in one piece with the end part.
  • the second positioning element is integrated into the part end and consists of a shoulder.
  • the slot is supported by so that a section of the slot on the side of the part main is less than the width of the rest from the slot.
  • the width of the slot is always less than the distance between the two faces outside of the wings of the socket when this socket is not subject to any constraints.
  • the second positioning element is integrated into the part end and consists of a groove made at the inside of the bore in cooperation with a rod elastic mounted around the sleeve.
  • the second positioning element consists of a slide, especially bayonet.
  • Each bar has a body having a part main 1 on the upper part of the hands 2 and an end portion 3 formed so as to define a bore 4 which opens to the outside through a slot longitudinal upper and whose lips go up the extremity of the body.
  • the other end of the bar has a heel intended to cooperate with the bar neighbor.
  • the bars have been truncated in their middle. In fact they extend to the left of the drawing towards another symmetrical chain of chain C by having a configuration on the left which corresponds to the configuration right of a neighboring bar.
  • a pseudo-circular cylindrical elastic sleeve 5 split longitudinally between two wings 6 is intended to penetrate into the bore 4 while the wings 6 come out through the slot.
  • the two wings 6 are from the elastic sleeve 5.
  • the outside diameter of the socket is equal to diameter of the bore in the end part of the bar and the inside diameter of the socket is slightly greater than the diameter of the axis with which it must cooperate when it is placed on the machine.
  • This socket 5 has, when it is not subject to any constraint, a larger dimension, to know a pseudo-diameter outside and inside higher respectively to the diameter of bore 4 and axis A.
  • the socket has, when is unconstrained, a cylindrical shape pseudo-circular, that is to say that the cross section of the socket is not perfectly circular and its pseudo-diameters exterior and interior are respectively greater than the internal diameter of the bore and the axis, so that when the socket is inserted into its bore and the bar is mounted on the machine, one apart the outer surface of the socket comes perfectly in contact with the bore wall in order to avoid contact oxidation formation, and on the other hand that the socket has, on the side near the axis A, a section straight circular shape with an inside diameter slightly greater than the diameter of the axis to allow the rotation of axis A inside the bush. So the socket is perfectly maintained inside the bore and allows the rotation of axis A.
  • the straight section of the elastic sleeve 5 pseudo-circular is constituted, as seen in the Figure 6, a basic section 20, straight, or slightly curved at both ends from which two sections come 21, 22 curved, with radii of curvature smaller than that of section 20.
  • the elastic sleeve 5 is made of a material metallic, especially steel.
  • the two wings have dimensions such that they protrude from the body of the bar through the slot when the socket is in place in the bar so that be able to be handled manually, using pliers for example, in order to bring the wings closer to each other for mounting or dismounting the socket.
  • the positioning of the socket 5 out of bore 4 is obtained by the fact that the slot comprises a shoulder 7 which narrows the distance between the lips of the side of main part 1.
  • the shoulder 7 constitutes the axial stop for the lateral edge of the sleeve away from axis A to position the sleeve out of the bore.
  • the socket is in particular positioned out of the bore of a distance slightly less than the distance between the face the end part from which the bore opens and the heel of the next bar. The game, small, thus created allows the bar to move slightly in the longitudinal direction and rotate relative to axis A without causing wear on the heel or the sleeve.
  • the socket associated with the bar represented in the middle does not cover its axis A but is engaged in bore 4 to the bottom thereof. This operation is made possible by bringing one of the other the free ends of the wings 6, so that cross the shoulder 7. It is thus possible to stop the contact of the bar with axis A.
  • the socket 5 is applied to its axis A.
  • the socket 5 shown in the middle which projects laterally of bore 4, is positioned axially by the shoulder 7 against which abuts at least one of the wings 6 of the sleeve 5.
  • This embodiment makes it possible to obtain a very significant reduction (around 50%) of the time necessary for the assembly and disassembly of the many bars of a machine.
  • the socket is simpler and more economical to manufacture because it no longer has notches intended for position the split rings.
  • the socket is consisting of a cylinder 8, one end of which has a bore 9 provided to receive the axis A of the chain C and of which the other end has a shoulder 15.
  • the cylinder 8 includes a means for maintaining the bar in the bore such as for example one or more 10 elastic bands.
  • the elastic ring 10 thus opposes the inadvertent movement of the sleeve inside the bore by the pressure exerted by the ring against the sides of a groove 19 made in the inner wall of the bore and participates in the positioning of the sleeve outside of it.
  • the rod 10 snaps into the groove.
  • a tool such as a screwdriver
  • a force is exerted axial opposite to the pressure exerted by the rod 10 against the sides of the bore of the bore against the cylinder 8 to move it laterally.
  • the socket is consisting of a circular cylinder 11, one end of which has a bore 12 intended to receive the axis A of the chain C and the other end of which cooperates with a spring 13 compression which is based on the bottom of the bore 4 of so as to exert a force tending to release the cylinder 11 of bore 4 of the bar.
  • This slide 16 can advantageously have bayonet type (see Figure 5) predetermining two extreme axial positions of the sleeve inside the bore, i.e. a first position in which the sleeve emerges from the bore of a distance necessary to cover the A axis sufficiently and a second position in which the socket is fully retracted into the bore.
