Claims (24)

  1. Un substrat sur lequel un document de sécurité doit être imprimé ayant une pluralité de caractéristiques d'identification sur la surface décrite, ci-dessus ainsi une fois illuminés et imagés par un scannage, produit des signaux d'image dans la sortie de l'appareil photoélectrique définies comme suit :
    (i) la différence entre les caractéristiques d'identification et le reste de la surface du substrat est que les signaux d'image correspondant aux lesdites caractéristiques sont complètement indistincts des signaux d'image de la surface du substrat et/ou les signaux de bruit de fond dans la sortie de l'appareil photoélectrique, de fait, il est impossible de les distinguer à l'oeil ; et
    (ii) les caractéristiques sont répétées par intervalles sous la forme d'au moins une partie de la surface du substrat, par lesquels, sur validation, le temps ou la position des signaux de chaque caractéristique ait au moins un rapport fixé aux signaux en rapport avec les autres dites caractéristiques, par lesquels un appareil informatique fourni avec des signaux d'image peut être programmé afin d'identifier si les signaux portent une caractéristique, au moins undit rapport fixé est présent dans les données e pour assister à l'identification du document imagé.
  2. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 1, selon laquelle les caractéristiques d'identification sont répétées par intervalles réguliers.
  3. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 1 ou à la revendication 2, selon lesquelles chacune des caractéristiques d'identification est similaire aux particularités de chacune des autres caractéristiques d'identification dans ladite surface.
  4. Un substrat conforme à n'importe quelle revendication 1 à 3, selon lesquelles l'espacement des caractéristiques d'identification est de nature à être constamment dans une seule direction ou varié selon la forme prédéterminée, et des espacements réguliers similaires ou différents sont sélectionnés pour les caractéristiques dans d'autres directions portant un rapport spatial particulier relatif à ladite première direction, par exemple, perpendiculaire à ladite première direction.
  5. Un substrat conforme à n'importe quelle revendication 1 à 4, selon lesquelles les caractéristiques d'identification sont organisées dans une matrice 2D dans la surface du substrat.
  6. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 1, qui a un codage secondaire du substrat comprenant des variations dans la matrice telle que la suppression des caractéristiques à partir des positions particulières à l'intérieur d'une matrice régulière.
  7. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 5, selon laquelle la matrice est conçue à partir de caractéristiques ayant deux types distinctifs de particularités.   13. Un substrat conforme à n'importe quelle revendication 1 à 12, selon lesquelles la forme est codée afin de produire plusieurs itérations de code sur le substrat.
  14. Un substrat conforme à n'importe quelle revendication 1 à 13, selon lesquelles la forme codée s'étend sur des parties sélectionnées qui s'alignent avec des parties imprimées particulières du substrat.
  15. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 14, selon laquelle les parties imprimées sont de nature à mettre en valeur la détection de la variation de la surface du substrat lors du scannage et conversion de l'image en signaux d'image.
  16. Une surface du substrat est traitée conforme à n'importe quelle revendication 1 à 15, qui lorsque illuminée à cause d'un scannage, elle contient des parties éclairées et foncées qui sont visibles dans la surface d'une feuille traitée du substrat mais ne sont pas visibles à l'oeil.
  17. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 16, selon laquelle les caractéristiques d'identification sont embossées lors de leur conception.
  18. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 16, ayant des matériaux en papier ou en pastiques mélangés avec une résine ou un vernis-laque ou autre matériau afin d'obtenir une surface lisse lors de l'impression et une structure de codage sur la surface pour que la véritable surface du substrat soit suffisamment lisse pour que l'encre d'impression y adhère et permette au document de sécurité d'y être imprimé, en même temps il contiendra une fine partie de régions moins lisses, moins réceptives à l'encre d'impression.
  19. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 16 selon laquelle des parties sélectionnées décrivent une forme répétée d'identification en étant imprégnée d'un liquide telle que de la résine ou du vernis-laque, l'absorption optique es caractéristiques de réflexion ou la densité optique du substrat est suffisamment modifiée aussi bien entre les parties imprégnées et les parties non-imprégnées qu'avec une faible lumière.
  20. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 16, dans laquelle la surface du substrat est gravée à l'eau-forte par des rayons de laser afin de produire des cavités ou des rainures sur la surface à imprimer (ou attendant d'être imprimée).
  21. Un substrat conforme à la revendication 16, ayant un moirage est utilisé afin de varier l'épaisseur et/ou la texture du substrat, dont les variations peuvent être rendues visibles à une faible lumière et forment le codage primaire et / ou secondaire.
  22. Un substrat conforme à n'importe quelle revendication 1 à 21, caractérisé dan ledit substrat est un substrat de document de sécurité.
  23. Un document de sécurité lorsqu'il est imprimé sur un substrat comme revendiqué dans n'importe quelle revendication 1 à 22.

Une méthode de vérification concernant le document de sécurité conforme à la revendication 22 ou la revendication 23, selon lesquelles dans la première étape de vérification un processus de scannage est utilisé afin de convertir de la surface du substrat du document en signaux d'image relatif au processus d'impression, et la surface codée est détectée, une seconde étape de vérification est introduite en soumettant les signaux d'image à un algorithme approprié, ladite seconde étape de vérification, lors d'un échec, servant à libérer partiellement ou interdire le processus d'impression afin d'éviter la reproduction du document, ou au moins une reproduction de grande qualité de celui-ci.
