Description
The invention relates to a lubricating device for an escalator or moving walk, wherein a step band in the escalator or a pallet band at the moving walk between lateral boundaries is performed, and wherein lubricant containers are provided, which are connected via lines with lubrication points.
Such lubricating devices have the purpose of preventing it from environmental, virtually unavoidable dirt deposits such as dust, abrasion of subway brakes, etc. on base plates of the escalator or moving walk or unfavorable material compositions to increased friction and noise between the base plates and the step band or can come to the pallet band.

The invention has for its object to propose a lubricating device of the type mentioned, which does not have the aforementioned disadvantages.
This object is achieved by the invention defined in
Since the task, effect and execution of the present invention are virtually identical in escalators and moving walks, in the following, for the sake of simplicity, only their use in escalators will be described.
According to a particular embodiment, the lubricant container is arranged within a balustrade base in the upper part of the escalator. In the lubricant tank protrudes a Schmierdocht, the other end in the area Sliding blocks is attached to a side plate forming the base plate and protrudes through a hole in the base plate, whereby the lubrication point is formed.
Further possible embodiments are apparent from the dependent claims.
The advantages achieved by the invention are in particular that noise is avoided and by reducing the friction of the wear of the sliding blocks is reduced and damage to the base plates are prevented. Further advantages are the fact that the lubricant container is more easily accessible and that the lubricant track formed by the sliding blocks is concealed and relatively narrow and therefore lubricant-saving.
