Description

The invention relates to a drive for a floor care appliance, in particular for a Rainer, for rotating a care disc, wherein the drive has a drive shaft which drives a driving plate by means of driving cam, which driving plate acts on the abutment of the care disc via drive fingers, wherein the driving plate in the axial direction is acted upon by a spring in the direction of the care disc.

A drive for a floor care device of the type in question is known, for example, from DE-A1 197 28 927, in which one or both sides provided with a care cover care slices are provided. These care discs are dragged over a, driven by driving cams a drive shaft driving plate, wherein further acts a spring in the axial direction on the driving plates for leaving the same in the direction of the care discs.

In view of the above-described prior art, a technical problem of the invention is seen in an advantageous development of a drive for a floor care device of the type in question.

This problem is solved first and foremost by the subject matter of claim 1, whereupon is turned off that the driving plate is acted upon by a spring in the circumferential direction with respect to a system between the drive finger and abutment. According to this embodiment, a projection of the care disc and a subsequent multiple attacks between driver or backdrop and care disc is counteracted at a start of the drive, since according to the invention by the spring acting in the circumferential direction of the drive finger of the driving plate is urged into abutment to the care disc. Thus, there is no rocking of the care device on the care discs. By avoiding the Anfahrschlages of the drive finger against the abutment of the maintenance slices a quiet, impact-free running of the floor care device on the floor to be cared for regardless of the choice of care on the care disc is guaranteed. Load peaks are cushioned by the care disc. Preferably, a Torsionsfederelement is integrated, so that the backdrop or the driving plate does not stop at the end of a Verdrehweges. For this purpose, a limited rotatability of, for example, provided by 90 ° of the driving plate on the drive shaft. When designing the circumferentially acting spring, the torque to be transmitted is essential. The torsional spring force is in this case so large that the drive torque of one or more care discs is collected without the damping element reaches the stop and thus ineffective. Disc torque measurements gave an exemplary load of 0.3 to 1.2 of the nominal output torque of the engine-gear unit. In order to achieve a corresponding counterforce from the spring, according to the invention, the suspension thereof was chosen such that a Torsionsvorspannung of about 0.3 to 0.6, preferably 0.4 times the drive torque is present in the idle state and the spring moment on the load stop exceeds 1 to 1.5, preferably 1.2 times the drive torque. In order to ensure a simple and reliable installation, the spring is preferably inserted axially on the drive shaft or cross shaft and locked by primarily tangentially acting hook or the like on the gate or on the driving plate. The driving plate is brought by rotation by about 40 to 60 °, preferably 50 ° to bias and locked on the drive shaft. In a preferred embodiment of the subject invention is provided for component minimization that the same spring acts on the driving plate both in the axial direction and in the circumferential direction. Particularly advantageous here proves that the spring is a coil spring. In this regard, it is further proposed that the ends of the coil spring at one end are rotatably connected to the drive shaft and the other end rotatably connected to the driving plate. Finally, it proves to be advantageous that four drive fingers and four abutments are provided in angularly uniform distribution, so that by the spring-assisted rotatability of the driving plate on the cross shaft or the drive shaft by about 90 ° always a contact between the drive finger and abutment of the care disc is given.

Shown and described is first with reference to FIG. 1, a floor care device 1 in the form of a Rainer, which has three, a device bottom 2 substantially penetrating care discs 3.

Each care disc 3 has a circular in plan, plate-like base support 4, at the peripheral edge of a circumferential toothing 5 is formed. In the center of the base support 4 is provided with a hub 6, which latter extends on both sides of the base support 4 in the axial direction.

In the hub 6 is assigned to one side of the one or both sides provided with a care pad 7 care disk 3 each have a centrally formed Stützausformung 8 formed. This is arranged opposite a hub end face sunk.

In the hub 6, with respect to the hub end face, each support formation 8 has a centering or insertion recess 9 formed coaxially in front of it. Both the Stützausformung 8 and the centering 9th are formed approximately hemispherical, wherein the centering recess 9 has a relation to the radius of the Stützausformung 8 enlarged diameter.

Next, the care disc 3 on both sides abutment 10 for a drive shaft of the floor care device 1. These are formed on both sides of the base support 4 in the form of radial wings. As shown, it is preferred to provide four equiangularly spaced abutments 10.

Each abutment 10 extends in the axial direction from the base support 4, which is thinner in the hub region than in the outer, the lining-bearing region, to the plane of the hub end face.

Auf der, der Beaufschlagungsseite abgewandten Rückfläche ist jedes Widerlager 10 mit Stützrippen 11 versehen (vergl. hierzu Fig. 3).On the rear surface facing away from the loading side, each abutment 10 is provided with supporting ribs 11 (see FIG. 3 for this).

The care disk provided with the reference numeral 3 in FIG. 1 is driven via a drive shaft of the floor care appliance 1. The two further care discs 3 'are driven directly by means of the circumferential toothing 5 of the main drive pulley 3. However, a solution is also conceivable in which a care disc 3 'is actively driven, the care disc 3 is directly driven via this and the further care disc 3' indirectly via the care disc 3. It is also conceivable to form the individual care discs 3 or 3 'on the circumference without driving elements and to drive each one directly.

The drive shaft 12 shown in Fig. 3 is the end with a non-rotatably connected thereto support finger 13 provided. The latter is hemispherical shaped at the end, wherein the vertical force is introduced from the ground care device 1 via the Stützausformung 8 of the hub 6 in the care disc 3 on this support finger 13.

The supporting finger 13, which is also shown schematically in FIG. 4, has two diametrically opposite, radially projecting driving cams 14.

Such a trained support finger 13 serves at the same time at the not directly driven care discs 3 'for centering the same, said support fingers 13 are arranged on non-driven centering.

To form a drive unit as shown in Fig. 3, a driving plate 15 is further provided, which has a central opening 16 for the passage of the support finger 13, from which opening 16 two diametrically opposite, radially outwardly facing, in the circumferential direction by approximately 90 ° extending entrainment slots 17 go out. After an assembly of support fingers 13 and take-up plate 15, the driving cams 14 enter the area of the driving slots 17 for the rotary driving of the driving plate 15.

On the underside, the driving plate 15 has four drive fingers 18, arranged in an angle-uniform distribution, for carrying the care disks 3, 3 'in the region of their abutments 10.

The driving plate 15 is supported via a spring 19 in the form of a spiral spring on the drive shaft 12, for axial loading of the driving plate 15 in the direction of the care discs 3, 3 '.

By this configuration, the driving plate 15 is movably supported in the vertical direction on the support finger 13.

The ends of the spring 19 are one end rotatably connected to the drive shaft 12 and the other end rotatably connected to the driving plate 15, whereby the driving plate 15 is spring-loaded in addition to the application in the axial direction at the same time in the circumferential direction.

As a result of the double function of the spring, in particular the loading of the driving plate in the circumferential direction, the latter does not remain at the end of the Verdrehweges after switching off the device. Rather, the driving plate 15 is always spring assisted in a contact position between the drive finger 18 of the driving plate 15 and abutment 10 of the nursing discs 3, 3 'urged, which is made possible by the circular segment-shaped training of the driving cam 14 of the drive shaft 12 penetrated driving slots 17 of the driving plate 15. In a simple way, a rocking of the device 1 is counteracted on the care discs 3, which rocking arises in known from the prior art drives characterized in that the driven disc is not exactly applied to the Mitnehmeranschlag and thus when turning on the device a violent striking the disc is caused. The impulse leads to an unwanted protrusion of the disc and subsequent multiple striking between Mitnehmeranschlag and disc, resulting in increased wear and premature failure of both parts.

A simple and reliable installation is given by the fact that the spring 19 is axially inserted onto the drive shaft 12 and locked by predominantly tangentially acting hooks on the driving plate 15. The latter is brought to bias by rotation by about 50 ° and locked on the drive shaft 12.

According to the embodiment of the invention load peaks are cushioned by the care discs 3, whereby a smooth running of the device 1 is guaranteed on all floors with all care discs or Pflegescheibenbelägen.
