  • daß an der Schmalseite der Verglasung wenigstens abschnittsweise ein Verbindungsprofil fest angebracht, vorzugsweise angeklebt oder angeschweißt ist, das wenigstens einen seitlich nach außen von der Verglasung weg weisenden, vorzugsweise in einer zur Verglasung parallelen Ebene vorragenden Verbindungssteg aufweist,
  • daß der Flügelrahmen eine vorzugsweise gebäudeinnenseitig an den Verbindungssteg angelegten Verbindungsbereich aufweist, der mittels durch den Verbindungssteg geführter lösbarer Verbinder, vorzugsweise Schrauben, mit dem Verbindungssteg verbunden ist, und
  • daß die Verglasung den die statischen Lasten aus Verglasung und Flügelrahmen aufnehmenden Teil des Flügels bildet.

Schließlich ist ein wesentlicher Vorteil der Erfindung, daß die Verglasung die statischen Lasten aufnimmt, so daß der Flügelrahmen selbst kein tragendes Profil mehr ist. Der Flügelrahmen kann deshalb wesentlich leichter und entsprechend kleiner ausgeführt werden, so daß bei einer vorgegebenen Größe einer Fenster- oder Türöffnung eine größere Glasfläche erreicht werden kann. Durch den geringeren Flächenbedarf des Flügelrahmens wirkt das Fenster oder die Tür insgesamt filigraner und leichter, was auch für den optischen Eindruck von Vorteil ist.   4. Window or door as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the glazing unit (10) is a double glazing unit with two panes (11, 12), and has peripherally in its edge region a pane space profile (13) and an airtight sealing compound (14) which is fluid when applied and then hardens, and that the connecting profile (2) is connected to the glazing unit (10) by means of the sealing compound (14) serving additionally as glue or by means of a separate glue, or the connecting profile as part of the pane spacer profile is connected thereto or constructed integrally therewith.
  5. Window or door as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in each case a section of the connection profile (2) is attached at the points on the glazing unit (10) at which in each case a supporting block is disposed between the glazing unit and the casement/leaf frame in conventional windows or doors.
  6. Window or door as claimed in Claim 5, characterised in that in addition in each case a section of the connection profile (2) is attached at the points on the glazing unit (10) at which in each case a spacer block is disposed between the glazing unit and the casement/leaf frame in conventional windows or doors, and that these sections of the connecting profile (2) each have an elongate hole which allows a clearance for movement relative to the connector (33) which passes through it.
