Definitions
- the invention relates to a chair or a standing aid, in particular for office or workshop or the like.
- a seat arranged on a seat support with a longitudinal and perpendicular transverse axis, the seat support being provided with a receptacle for the upper end of a column of chairs, the lower end of which Stand or rolling means to be placed on the floor.
- the invention is based on the fact that the user weight resting on the seat is received via sliding surfaces of the upper part of the seat support and interacting with these sliding surfaces of the lower part of the seat support and introduced into a chair base with a foot or roller lower part supported on the floor and with a chair column.
- a seat support lower part is placed on its upper end, which has a link receptacle extending essentially in the direction of the longitudinal axis.
- This backdrop shot forms an approximately U-shaped trough, which has front and rear limiting approaches.
- a seat support upper part is placed on this seat support lower part, which is provided with a seat shell and with a seat cushion on it.
- the underside of the upper part of the seat support is provided with a setting that corresponds to the setting and can be inserted into it.
- the backdrop has surfaces designed as sliding surfaces which correspond to those which are provided to the side of the backdrop receptacle and in the front region lying forward and in the rear region arranged rearward.
- the backdrop of the seat support is at the top. partly inserted into the link receptacle provided in the lower part of the seat support, the link and the guide being provided with interacting sliding surfaces, by means of which the upper part of the seat support is supported on the lower part of the seat support.
- These surfaces sliding on one another are designed as a wave or as a wave-shaped recess with a curvature around a common center with an axis of curvature oriented transversely to the longitudinal extent of the seat support.
- the sliding surfaces of the lower part of the seat support are longer than the sliding surfaces of the upper part of the seat support, so that the link inserted in the link holder can be moved along the sliding surfaces of the lower part of the seat support and is also pivoted about this transverse axis during movement due to the curvature of the sliding surfaces.
- a displacement of the seat support upper part with seat cushion in the seat support lower part is associated with an adjustment of the seat inclination, since the sliding surfaces allow pivoting about this common center of curvature and thus a change in the inclination of the seat cushion placed on the seat support upper part compared to the seat support lower part fixedly arranged on the chair column.
- locking means are provided, with which the setting can be fixed in the setting in the desired position, the friction between the two holding the seat inclination, if not too great forces force an adjustment.
- the backdrop has approximately a "U” shape in cross section.
- the free legs of the "U” are formed by side walls that limit the backdrop.
- the free, upper ends of these legs are provided with sliding surfaces and beveled to form them. This results in two mutually opposed sliding surfaces, which cooperate as a pair with corresponding sliding surfaces of the recessed recess corresponding to the shape of the link.
- the slope is such that the sliding surfaces fall towards the center: alternatively, they can fall outwards.
- the raised edge area is advantageously designed as a guide comb.
- the sliding surfaces of the link receptacle are - corresponding to the guide combs of the backdrop - provided with guide grooves in which these guide combs of the backdrop engage.
- the inclined sliding surfaces are designed in such a way that the sliding surfaces on each of the side walls of the link as well as on the corresponding sliding surfaces of the link receptacle produce both an inward and an outward sloping part.
- the ridge between the two slopes forms the guide comb.
- the corresponding guide groove is provided in the edge areas of the link receptacle, in which these guide combs engage.
- the mutually facing, mutually sliding side surfaces of the link and the link receptacle are designed as conical inclined surfaces which are pressed into one another by the load of a seated person. This alone creates a frictional connection that suppresses an unintentional rolling movement.
- This frictional engagement is reinforced by a non-slip surface structure on the interacting sliding surfaces of the link bracket and the link.
- a non-slip surface structure can be provided in that, on the one hand, an anti-slip covering is provided on at least one of the inclined side surfaces.
- the sliding surfaces can have complementary structures that fit into one another when pressed and ensure a positive fit.
- profiled structures are, for example, complementary waves or serrations of the side or inclined surfaces.
- the depth of the profile must not be so great that the movability of the link in the link guide when the spindle is released is impeded.
- a profile strip along the edge is sufficient.
- This toothing is advantageously designed in the manner of a trapezoidal toothing. With this design, the inclined surfaces of the trapezoids slide on each other during adjustment both in one direction or in the other, so that the angle of inclination of these inclines does not allow the adjusting force to increase too high.
- a helical spring arranged between the lower part of the seat support and the upper part of the seat support, which presses the tooth flanks of the teeth of the upper part of the seat support against the corresponding tooth flanks, and which - because of the forced curvature of the axis of the spring - receives an elastic prestress with which the upper part of the seat support is also proven is lifted in such a way that the serrations of the sliding surfaces disengage and the link can be moved relative to the link receptacle, the movement following the curve predetermined by the curvature of the sliding surfaces.
- the setting of the desired seat inclination is fixed with locking means, whereby the sliding surfaces are pressed against one another by means of suitable locking means even in the event of relief and thus maintain their inclination position.
- locking means can be used, which allow a gradual adjustment of the seat inclination and fix the inclination position in each of the locking stages.
- means with which a clamping effect is achieved can be used in the form of levers, eccentrics, gags or wedges.
- a clamping bolt arranged transversely to the backdrop is provided in this, which is provided with a clamping spindle or a clamping wedge, which pulls the backdrop into the backdrop receptacle when tightening or moving.
- This clamping spindle is formed by a threaded bolt screwed into the clamping bolt with a handwheel which is supported in a seat in the lower part of the seat support.
- the clamping bolt arranged in a hollow in the upper part of the seat support is supported against it and pulls it against the lower part of the seat when the spindle is tightened.
- the sliding surfaces are pressed against each other, so that - depending on the design of the sliding surfaces - frictional or positive locking takes effect.
- a back part with a back support in addition to the seat part with an often upholstered seat, a back part with a back support is also provided, which advantageously has a backrest bar with an articulated back support, which can be adjusted in height by an amount "h" in a receiving chamber of the backrest support ,
- the receiving chamber and the backrest rod base are advantageously substantially U-shaped; the receiving chamber receives the backrest bar base approximately form-fitting.
- both can advantageously be pivoted relative to one another.
- the backrest support is pivoted to the upper part of the seat support;
- the seat and back support are connected to each other and the seat inclination and the height of the back support can be adjusted.
- the upper part of the seat support has on the side assigned to the backrest support a receiving chamber delimited by two chamber side walls and a rear wall of the chamber, which is open at the top for inserting the backrest support with the backrest support foot, so that the backrest support can be used with the backrest support foot.
- a pivot bearing is provided as a pivot bearing, which is oriented at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the backrest and of the seat support and in which the set steepness of the backrest can be determined with a locking screw. This is advantageous at the lower end of the backrest support or on the inside of the A backrest support for the seat support is provided. which cooperates with a corresponding recess on the other part.
- the molding is positively received and guided by the recess with a corresponding cross-section with the same radii of curvature, which does not fully encompass the part-cylindrical molding. This allows the recess to move relative to the molding, the amount of which - and thus the amount "t" of the pivoting movement - is determined by the degree of overlap.
- the steepness setting of the back part relative to the seat part is fixed with a locking screw, which leads through clamping screw holes in the chamber side walls and through circular arc-shaped elongated holes in the side walls of the backrest foot, creating a frictional connection between the upper part of the seat support and the backrest support.
- the locking is done by tightening this locking screw.
- the radius of curvature of the two circular-shaped elongated holes corresponds to the distance between the axes of the locking screw and the cylindrical projection.
- a rod-shaped backrest rod is provided, at one end of which the backrest cushion is articulated, and the other end, the backrest rod foot, is inserted into the backrest support provided on the upper part of the seat support, which forms a guide for the backrest rod.
- a latching is provided with a locking bracket interacting with a toothed strip, so that a gradual adjustment of the height of the back part with backrest bar and back support is made possible by an amount "h".
- the backrest bar has a longitudinally extending toothed bar with coarse toothing provided with a locking toothing, with which a movable locking bracket arranged in the backrest carrier and extending transversely to the toothing bar interacts.
- At least one end of the latching bracket assigned to the backrest bar is or preferably both ends are provided with latching means which are designed as latching lugs and which engage between two of the teeth of the latching toothing and fix the height of the back support.
- Even laterally provided gears with locking teeth that open in the direction of movement of the locking bracket allow the step-by-step height adjustment of the back support to interact with appropriately trained locking tabs / tabs on the locking bracket.
- the outer end of the locking bracket is designed as a press head, so that the locking bracket can be pressed in with finger or hand pressure to unlock the height adjustment.
- the locking lug / lugs or the locking bar rise from the space between two of the teeth of the locking teeth: the lock is released and the back support can be brought to a new desired height.
- the locking bracket advantageously engages around the toothed strip of the backrest bar in a "U” shape, so that the legs of the "U” rest against the backrest bar and the height of the backrest is slidably adjustable.
- At least one of the free ends of the "U” is the latching means which interacts with the teeth of the toothed bar are provided, which are advantageously provided on both free ends of the locking bracket; this causes the locking to take place symmetrically to the center plane of the backrest bar and the force application is even on both sides.
- a locking lug is preferably provided as the locking means, so that at the free end of the "U" It is integrally formed that it engages between two adjacent teeth of the toothed strip during the movement of the latching bracket and is lifted out of the space between the teeth when the latching bracket is pressed in.
- the latching bracket is further advantageously guided inside the backrest rod; in a further development, guides are provided inside the backrest support arranged, which rest on the free legs of the "U” or di they even reach around.
- a locking body separate from the locking bracket is provided, which interacts with the locking bracket in such a way that it can be moved into and out of the locking bracket by the locking bracket. For this purpose, it is slidably arranged in a guide and, on the side facing the toothed strip, is provided with at least one, between two of the teeth of the toothed strip, locking lug or locking strip.
- the locking bracket or the locking body is advantageous in cooperation held in the locked position with a spring, whereby the height adjustment of the back support is locked unactuated.
- the spring is supported at one end against the backrest support, while its free end interacts with the locking bracket or with the locking body. Removing the lock requires an active pressure on the press head of the locking bracket, which is pressed thereby and the locking means located between the teeth of the toothed rack are lifted out of the tooth area. The locking is released and the back part can be adjusted in height.
- the spring is tensioned, the force of which, when released, causes the locking bracket to be reset and thus re-locked.
- spring chambers are advantageously provided, which are arranged either on the locking bracket or the locking body or on the backrest support, which receive a substantial part of the relaxed spring and the length of which is dimensioned such that it can be unlocked necessary travel is available when pressing in the locking bracket.
- the spring chamber is provided in the interior of the backrest support, it is advantageously provided together with the guidance of the locking slide or the locking body on the inside of the corresponding walls of the backrest support foot, so that the slide guide and spring chamber are aligned in the direction of the movement of the locking slide or the movement of the Rest body.
- At least the lower part of the seat support with a link receptacle preferably also the upper link or the upper part of the seat support with a link, is designed as a plastic injection-molded part or as an aluminum die-cast part.
- the backrest support and backrest bar of the back part are also designed as plastic injection-molded parts or as aluminum die-cast parts for the chairs.
- the back supports which are often provided with upholstery, can also be designed as a molded plastic part. In this way, it is possible to manufacture the entire seat part or the seat part with the back part from plastic injection molded or molded parts, which are only to be assembled to complete the seat.
- a chair or a standing aid for the office or workshop or the like. has a seat 10, formed by a seat shell 10.1 provided with a seat cushion 10.2, under which a seat support upper part 11 is arranged.
- the upper part 11 of the seat support and the lower part 1 of the seat support form the seat support, which is supported by a chair column 9 which is fixedly or rollably supported on the floor by conventional and known means and which is inserted with its column head 9.1 into a corresponding receptacle of the lower part 1 of the seat support.
- the upper part 11 of the seat support is provided with a link 12 which is inserted into a link receptacle 4 designed as a hollow toward the seat 10.
- the setting 12 and the lower part 1 of the seat support are provided with interacting sliding surfaces 13 and 5, on which the setting 12 is supported relative to the lower part 1 of the seat support.
- the sliding surfaces 5 of the seat support lower part 1 are arranged next to the cavity of the link receptacle 4.
- the setting 12 with the seat support upper part 11 with the seat shell 10.1 and possibly with the seat cushion 10.2 can be moved relative to the seat support lower part 1, which enables the seat 10 to be displaced.
- sliding surfaces 13 and 5 also have a curvature around a common center "Z" (FIG. 3b). Interacting sliding surfaces 13 and 5 correspond to each other and guide the backdrop 12 on an arc around this center. This movement leads to a change in the inclination of the seat.
- the sliding surfaces 13 and 5 are advantageously designed as inclined surfaces arranged on both sides on the side link walls, the incline of which lies transversely to the longitudinal extent to the center of the link or to the outside.
- the sliding surfaces 5 of the seat support lower part 1 provided next to the link receptacle 4 are arranged correspondingly and have the same curvature, so that their center of curvature coincides with the center of curvature of the sliding surfaces 13 of the link 12 in the center "Z", and also one of the bevels of the sliding surfaces 13 Backdrop 12 corresponding cross slopes.
- a front stop 2.1 and a rear stop 2.2 limit the swivel range forwards and backwards. The seat inclination can thus be changed within a range "s", the neutral position of the seat being shown in FIG with 10, the seat tilted forward with 10 'and the seat tilted back with 10 "are indicated.
- the backdrop 12 lies in the backdrop receptacle 4 in such a way that its side walls guide the side walls of the backdrop 12 which are designed accordingly.
- the link 12 is provided with at least one inclined sliding surface 13, which cooperates with a sloping surface 5 corresponding to the side wall of the seat support lower part 1 bordering the connecting link receptacle 4. These two sliding surfaces 13 and 5 are in frictional engagement with one another, so that the movability of the link 12 in the link receptacle 4 is dependent on the resulting friction: the mobility can be facilitated by reducing the friction or increased by increasing the friction until it is fixed become.
- a locking device cooperating with a locking spindle 8 is provided.
- a clamping bolt 15 is arranged in a cavity 14 of the link 12 transversely to its longitudinal extent, which has a threaded bore 15.1 for a threaded bolt 8.2 of the locking spindle 8.
- This locking spindle 8 passes through the seat support lower part 1, which has a hole 1.2 for this purpose, and which is supported with the handwheel 8.1 in the base of a handwheel holder 1.1 against the seat support lower part 1.
- the guide combs 6 engage in the area of the inclined sliding surfaces 5 arranged next to the link guide 4 Corresponding guide grooves 13.2 arranged on the sliding surfaces 13 of the upper part 11 of the seat support, so that guidance of the link 12 independently of the bearing of the lateral sliding surfaces 13 and 5 is provided, as can be seen in FIGS. 4a and 4b (the section being part of the setting) 12 covers).
- the link receptacle 4 which are related to the direction of movement of the link 12, the latter has a front guide surface 4.1 and a rear guide surface 4.2, which interact with corresponding surfaces of the link 12 and the seat support upper part 11, on the one hand, to favor their guidance and, on the other hand, to support the guide Limit the freedom of movement of the backdrop 12 in the backdrop mount 4.
- a rear support 11.2 is provided in the rear area of the seat support upper part 11, which slides on the corresponding rear guide surface 4.2 of the link guide 4, and which runs backwards and supports the pushed back seat support upper part 11.
- the link receptacle 4 attaches up to which the link 12 inserted in this link receptacle 4 can be moved and thus forms the stop 2.2 for the freedom of movement of the backdrop to the rear.
- the front stop 2.1 is formed by the tongue 3.1 of the link guide 4, which tongue runs out toward the front, against which the link 12 abuts in the position pushed forward.
- the upper part 11 of the seat support is supported with its front support 11.1 on this tongue 3.1. The support in the front and in the rear area of the seat support upper part 11 on these supports thus prevents "tilting". of the seat support upper part 11 with seat shell 10.1 and seat cushion 10.2 on the seat support lower part 1.
- a spring member advantageously a coil spring 7, is provided between the two for a frictional connection between the lower seat part 1 and the upper seat part 11 with a link 12.
- This helical spring 7 is supported at one end against the seat support lower part 1, which is to be regarded as being fixed to the frame, and acts at its other end on the seat support upper part 11, which thus always lies in one direction in the setting receptacle 4 of the seat support lower part 1 - in the illustration in the forward direction - is pressed.
- the coil spring 7 is deformed following the curvature.
- the spring pressure acts approximately tangentially on the positively interacting corrugations / serrations 5.1 / 13.1 of the curved sliding surfaces 5/13 of the lower seat part 1 or the upper part 11 of the seat support;
- a transverse component of the force transversely to the tangent direction occurs, which after loosening the locking spindle 8 tends to cancel the positive locking of the corrugation / toothing by pressing off the upper part 11 of the seat support, so that a seat adjustment after releasing the locking is facilitated.
- a chair In addition to the seat part 10, a chair usually also has a back part 20 which are pivoted to one another by a pivot bearing 30 with the pivot axis 30.1.
- the seat is formed by a seat shell 10.1 which is connected to the upper part 11 of the seat support and which can be provided with a seat cushion 10.2.
- the end of the seat support upper part 11 facing the back part 20 is designed as a receiving chamber 16 for a backrest support 21 which is open towards the back part 20. This is formed on both sides by the chamber side walls 17 and by the chamber rear wall 18 connecting them.
- the chamber side walls 17 are provided with aligned openings 17.1, through which the clamping screw 34 is guided, with which a (still to be explained) Pivot bearing 30, with which the back part 20 is pivoted about the horizontal axis 30.1, can be locked.
- the backrest support 21 of the back part 20 with a backrest support foot 21.2 is inserted into this receiving chamber 16.
- this has a backrest neck 21.1 projecting beyond the backrest support 21, with a tubular guide chamber formed by the side walls 22, the rear wall 23 and an intermediate wall 23.1, which receives the lower end of the backrest bar 25 and guides it with a form fit.
- the back support 25.1 is articulated to the upper end of the backrest bar 25 with a joint 25.2.
- This lower end of the backrest bar 25 has a toothed bar 26, which interacts with a locking bracket 27 arranged transversely to the backrest bar, the locking lugs 27.1 of which engage between two teeth of the toothed bar 26 and thus fix the set height position of the backrest bar 25 with the back cushion or backrest 25.1.
- the backrest bar 25 advantageously has a central wall 26.1 in the region of the toothed strip 26, so that a toothed strip 26 can be arranged on each side of this central wall 26.1.
- the locking bracket 27 cooperating here with the toothed strips 26 is essentially U-shaped and comprises the backrest bar 25 in the form of a fork.
- the ends of the two fork tines have locking lugs 27.1 which engage between two adjacent teeth of each of the toothed strips 26.
- the intervention takes place in accordance with the set height of the backrest bar, the corresponding teeth of the toothed strip 26 lying at the height of the locking bracket 27.
- the latching bracket 27 is slidably guided through a lateral opening 24 in the backrest support 21 and through bracket guides 28 provided in the interior of the guide chamber. and which is held at rest by means of the return springs 29.1 in the locked position (FIG. 9a).
- the return springs 29.1 are mounted in spring chambers 29 of the locking bracket 27 and are supported with their free ends against an abutment bar 25.3 of the backrest bar 25. This ensures that the locking is always present, apart from a deliberate lifting by finger or hand pressure on the press head 27.2 of the locking bracket 27. These corresponding teeth of the toothed rack 26 lie in the plane assigned by the locking bracket 27. If the locking bracket 27 is pressed by means of a pressure on the pressing head 27.2 projecting from the backrest support 21 (FIG.
- this pushing-in causes the locking lugs 27.1 to be output from the area of the toothed strip 26, as a result of which the locking between the locking bracket 27 and thus the backrest support 21 and the Backrest bar 25 is lifted and this can be raised or lowered in the guide of the backrest support 21 to adjust the height of the backrest 25.1, the length of the toothed strip 26 determining the area "h".
- a partial cylinder 31 with a horizontal axis 30.1 is provided on the inside of the chamber wall 18, which is advantageously molded on.
- the backrest support On the outside of its back wall 23, the backrest support has a molding 23.2 with a hollow cylindrical recess 32, the horizontal axis of which coincides with that of the partial cylinder 31 and the radius of which is the same as that of the partial cylinder 31, the hollow cylindrical shape on the rear wall 23 of the molded partial cylinder 31 of the chamber wall 18 is not fully encompassed, so that the backrest support 21 can be pivoted about the horizontal axis 30.1 by an angle determined by this free space relative to the upper part 11 of the seat support.
- This arrangement forms a slide bearing which forms the pivot bearing 30.
- the pivoting of the backrest is determined with a locking device by means of a clamping screw 34.
- This clamping screw 34 passes through the two clamping screw holes 17.1 in the chamber side walls 17 of the upper part 11 of the seat support and the two circular-shaped elongated holes 33 in the side walls 22 of the backrest support foot 21.2, the curvature of which depends on the distance between the axes the clamping screw 34 is predetermined by the axis of the partial cylinder 31, so that the clamping screw 34 can follow the curvature of the elongated hole 33 when the back part 20 is pivoted.
- By pivoting the back part 20 can shift a distance "t", whereby. the back support 25.1 adapts to the necessary steepness in any position because of the articulation on the backrest bar 25 by means of the joint 25.2.
- Inserts are provided in the chamber side walls 17, of which the guide sleeve 36.1 assigned to the handwheel 34.1 or a clamping lever and the opposite arranged form a screw sleeve 36.2, the threaded bolt of the clamping screw 34 being screwed into the latter and tightening by means of the handwheel 34.1 being permitted.
- a clamping sleeve 35 between the side walls 22 of the backrest support foot 21.2 makes it possible to exert pressure when the tensioning screw 34 is tightened, without deforming these side walls 22, so that a frictional connection between the inside of the chamber side walls 17 and the outside of the side walls 22 of the backrest support occurs, which is a Swiveling locks.

With a seat arranged on a seat support with a longitudinal and perpendicular transverse axis, the seat support being provided with a receptacle for the upper end of a column of chairs, the lower end of which Stand or rolling means to be placed on the floor.
Chairs or standing aids for offices or workshops are provided with upholstered seats. These seats are often formed by a seat support on which a seat cushion is placed. Because of the different requirements, these seats can often be adjusted with respect to the base frame, both in terms of their height and their seat inclination. While the height adjustment is ensured by a chair column designed as a telescopic gas spring different constructions have become known for the adjustment of the seat inclination, for example rigid pivot bearings are used which can be locked. From DE-U-295 07 658 a training is known in which the seat support is displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the seat; the backrest is resiliently articulated to the seat support, the back cushion of which is provided on the backrest bar and is adjustable in height. Such seat and backrest supports are costly and labor-intensive to manufacture and thus do not allow economical production.
With such standing aids or chairs, it is important that the safety of the user is guaranteed, that the user can easily and easily perceive the possibilities provided by the construction for achieving an optimal sitting position and that such a standing aid or such a chair can be manufactured simply and economically is to make it available to the consumer at low cost.
Thus, the task arises to develop a generic seat while avoiding the disadvantages of the prior art so that this seat and / or the backrest are simple in construction, economical and therefore inexpensive to manufacture and, in particular, can be used safely and easily for chairs or standing aids.
This object is achieved by the embodiment described by the features of the main claim: advantageous further developments and preferred embodiments describe the subclaims.
The invention is based on the fact that the user weight resting on the seat is received via sliding surfaces of the upper part of the seat support and interacting with these sliding surfaces of the lower part of the seat support and introduced into a chair base with a foot or roller lower part supported on the floor and with a chair column. For this purpose, a seat support lower part is placed on its upper end, which has a link receptacle extending essentially in the direction of the longitudinal axis. This backdrop shot forms an approximately U-shaped trough, which has front and rear limiting approaches. A seat support upper part is placed on this seat support lower part, which is provided with a seat shell and with a seat cushion on it.
The underside of the upper part of the seat support is provided with a setting that corresponds to the setting and can be inserted into it. The backdrop has surfaces designed as sliding surfaces which correspond to those which are provided to the side of the backdrop receptacle and in the front region lying forward and in the rear region arranged rearward. In the case of a seat for a standing aid or a chair, the backdrop of the seat support is at the top. partly inserted into the link receptacle provided in the lower part of the seat support, the link and the guide being provided with interacting sliding surfaces, by means of which the upper part of the seat support is supported on the lower part of the seat support.
These surfaces sliding on one another are designed as a wave or as a wave-shaped recess with a curvature around a common center with an axis of curvature oriented transversely to the longitudinal extent of the seat support. The sliding surfaces of the lower part of the seat support are longer than the sliding surfaces of the upper part of the seat support, so that the link inserted in the link holder can be moved along the sliding surfaces of the lower part of the seat support and is also pivoted about this transverse axis during movement due to the curvature of the sliding surfaces. A displacement of the seat support upper part with seat cushion in the seat support lower part is associated with an adjustment of the seat inclination, since the sliding surfaces allow pivoting about this common center of curvature and thus a change in the inclination of the seat cushion placed on the seat support upper part compared to the seat support lower part fixedly arranged on the chair column. To avoid undesired pivoting, locking means are provided, with which the setting can be fixed in the setting in the desired position, the friction between the two holding the seat inclination, if not too great forces force an adjustment.
The backdrop has approximately a "U" shape in cross section. The free legs of the "U" are formed by side walls that limit the backdrop. The free, upper ends of these legs are provided with sliding surfaces and beveled to form them. This results in two mutually opposed sliding surfaces, which cooperate as a pair with corresponding sliding surfaces of the recessed recess corresponding to the shape of the link.
The slope is such that the sliding surfaces fall towards the center: alternatively, they can fall outwards. The raised edge area is advantageously designed as a guide comb. The sliding surfaces of the link receptacle are - corresponding to the guide combs of the backdrop - provided with guide grooves in which these guide combs of the backdrop engage. In an alternative embodiment, the inclined sliding surfaces are designed in such a way that the sliding surfaces on each of the side walls of the link as well as on the corresponding sliding surfaces of the link receptacle produce both an inward and an outward sloping part. Here the ridge between the two slopes forms the guide comb. Correspondingly, the corresponding guide groove is provided in the edge areas of the link receptacle, in which these guide combs engage.
In order to further prevent unintentional rolling, the mutually facing, mutually sliding side surfaces of the link and the link receptacle are designed as conical inclined surfaces which are pressed into one another by the load of a seated person. This alone creates a frictional connection that suppresses an unintentional rolling movement. This frictional engagement is reinforced by a non-slip surface structure on the interacting sliding surfaces of the link bracket and the link. Such a surface structure can be provided in that, on the one hand, an anti-slip covering is provided on at least one of the inclined side surfaces.
On the other hand, the sliding surfaces can have complementary structures that fit into one another when pressed and ensure a positive fit. Such profiled structures are, for example, complementary waves or serrations of the side or inclined surfaces. However, the depth of the profile must not be so great that the movability of the link in the link guide when the spindle is released is impeded. A profile strip along the edge is sufficient. This toothing is advantageously designed in the manner of a trapezoidal toothing. With this design, the inclined surfaces of the trapezoids slide on each other during adjustment both in one direction or in the other, so that the angle of inclination of these inclines does not allow the adjusting force to increase too high. It is advantageous if additional means are provided between the lower part of the seat support and the upper part of the seat support, by means of which the toothing of the sliding surfaces of the upper part of the seat support is lifted out of the corresponding toothing of the lower part of the seat support after the locking device has been released. A helical spring arranged between the lower part of the seat support and the upper part of the seat support, which presses the tooth flanks of the teeth of the upper part of the seat support against the corresponding tooth flanks, and which - because of the forced curvature of the axis of the spring - receives an elastic prestress with which the upper part of the seat support is also proven is lifted in such a way that the serrations of the sliding surfaces disengage and the link can be moved relative to the link receptacle, the movement following the curve predetermined by the curvature of the sliding surfaces.
The setting of the desired seat inclination is fixed with locking means, whereby the sliding surfaces are pressed against one another by means of suitable locking means even in the event of relief and thus maintain their inclination position. For this purpose, locking means can be used, which allow a gradual adjustment of the seat inclination and fix the inclination position in each of the locking stages. Another possibility is the use of means with which a clamping effect is achieved. These can be used in the form of levers, eccentrics, gags or wedges. Is preferred as a locking means a clamping bolt arranged transversely to the backdrop is provided in this, which is provided with a clamping spindle or a clamping wedge, which pulls the backdrop into the backdrop receptacle when tightening or moving. This clamping spindle is formed by a threaded bolt screwed into the clamping bolt with a handwheel which is supported in a seat in the lower part of the seat support. The clamping bolt arranged in a hollow in the upper part of the seat support is supported against it and pulls it against the lower part of the seat when the spindle is tightened. The sliding surfaces are pressed against each other, so that - depending on the design of the sliding surfaces - frictional or positive locking takes effect.
In an office or workshop chair, in order to improve the sitting posture, in addition to the seat part with an often upholstered seat, a back part with a back support is also provided, which advantageously has a backrest bar with an articulated back support, which can be adjusted in height by an amount "h" in a receiving chamber of the backrest support , The receiving chamber and the backrest rod base are advantageously substantially U-shaped; the receiving chamber receives the backrest bar base approximately form-fitting. In order to adjust the steepness of the back part relative to the seat part, both can advantageously be pivoted relative to one another. For this purpose, the backrest support is pivoted to the upper part of the seat support; The seat and back support are connected to each other and the seat inclination and the height of the back support can be adjusted.
As a pivot bearing, the upper part of the seat support has on the side assigned to the backrest support a receiving chamber delimited by two chamber side walls and a rear wall of the chamber, which is open at the top for inserting the backrest support with the backrest support foot, so that the backrest support can be used with the backrest support foot. A pivot bearing is provided as a pivot bearing, which is oriented at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the backrest and of the seat support and in which the set steepness of the backrest can be determined with a locking screw. This is advantageous at the lower end of the backrest support or on the inside of the A backrest support for the seat support is provided. which cooperates with a corresponding recess on the other part. The molding is positively received and guided by the recess with a corresponding cross-section with the same radii of curvature, which does not fully encompass the part-cylindrical molding. This allows the recess to move relative to the molding, the amount of which - and thus the amount "t" of the pivoting movement - is determined by the degree of overlap.
The steepness setting of the back part relative to the seat part is fixed with a locking screw, which leads through clamping screw holes in the chamber side walls and through circular arc-shaped elongated holes in the side walls of the backrest foot, creating a frictional connection between the upper part of the seat support and the backrest support. The locking is done by tightening this locking screw. In order to achieve sufficient mobility over a larger amount, the radius of curvature of the two circular-shaped elongated holes corresponds to the distance between the axes of the locking screw and the cylindrical projection.
To adjust the height of the back cushion of the backrest, a rod-shaped backrest rod is provided, at one end of which the backrest cushion is articulated, and the other end, the backrest rod foot, is inserted into the backrest support provided on the upper part of the seat support, which forms a guide for the backrest rod. In order to fix the set height, a latching is provided with a locking bracket interacting with a toothed strip, so that a gradual adjustment of the height of the back part with backrest bar and back support is made possible by an amount "h". For this purpose, the backrest bar has a longitudinally extending toothed bar with coarse toothing provided with a locking toothing, with which a movable locking bracket arranged in the backrest carrier and extending transversely to the toothing bar interacts. At least one end of the latching bracket assigned to the backrest bar is or preferably both ends are provided with latching means which are designed as latching lugs and which engage between two of the teeth of the latching toothing and fix the height of the back support. Even laterally provided gears with locking teeth that open in the direction of movement of the locking bracket allow the step-by-step height adjustment of the back support to interact with appropriately trained locking tabs / tabs on the locking bracket. The outer end of the locking bracket is designed as a press head, so that the locking bracket can be pressed in with finger or hand pressure to unlock the height adjustment. As a result, the locking lug / lugs or the locking bar rise from the space between two of the teeth of the locking teeth: the lock is released and the back support can be brought to a new desired height.
The locking bracket advantageously engages around the toothed strip of the backrest bar in a "U" shape, so that the legs of the "U" rest against the backrest bar and the height of the backrest is slidably adjustable. At least one of the free ends of the "U" is the latching means which interacts with the teeth of the toothed bar are provided, which are advantageously provided on both free ends of the locking bracket; this causes the locking to take place symmetrically to the center plane of the backrest bar and the force application is even on both sides. A locking lug is preferably provided as the locking means, so that at the free end of the "U" It is integrally formed that it engages between two adjacent teeth of the toothed strip during the movement of the latching bracket and is lifted out of the space between the teeth when the latching bracket is pressed in. The latching bracket is further advantageously guided inside the backrest rod; in a further development, guides are provided inside the backrest support arranged, which rest on the free legs of the "U" or di they even reach around. In an alternative embodiment, a locking body separate from the locking bracket is provided, which interacts with the locking bracket in such a way that it can be moved into and out of the locking bracket by the locking bracket. For this purpose, it is slidably arranged in a guide and, on the side facing the toothed strip, is provided with at least one, between two of the teeth of the toothed strip, locking lug or locking strip.
The locking bracket or the locking body is advantageous in cooperation held in the locked position with a spring, whereby the height adjustment of the back support is locked unactuated. For this purpose, the spring is supported at one end against the backrest support, while its free end interacts with the locking bracket or with the locking body. Removing the lock requires an active pressure on the press head of the locking bracket, which is pressed thereby and the locking means located between the teeth of the toothed rack are lifted out of the tooth area. The locking is released and the back part can be adjusted in height. The spring is tensioned, the force of which, when released, causes the locking bracket to be reset and thus re-locked.
In order to keep the spring in its extended position, spring chambers are advantageously provided, which are arranged either on the locking bracket or the locking body or on the backrest support, which receive a substantial part of the relaxed spring and the length of which is dimensioned such that it can be unlocked necessary travel is available when pressing in the locking bracket. If the spring chamber is provided in the interior of the backrest support, it is advantageously provided together with the guidance of the locking slide or the locking body on the inside of the corresponding walls of the backrest support foot, so that the slide guide and spring chamber are aligned in the direction of the movement of the locking slide or the movement of the Rest body.
In order to achieve economical production, at least the lower part of the seat support with a link receptacle, preferably also the upper link or the upper part of the seat support with a link, is designed as a plastic injection-molded part or as an aluminum die-cast part. This proves to be a further advantage, since in the design at least the seat cushion forming the seat can be formed as a plastic molded part in the case of plastic injection molded parts and can be integrally formed on the upper part of the seat support. Furthermore, it is also advantageous if the backrest support and backrest bar of the back part are also designed as plastic injection-molded parts or as aluminum die-cast parts for the chairs. In further training of plastic injection molded parts The back supports, which are often provided with upholstery, can also be designed as a molded plastic part. In this way, it is possible to manufacture the entire seat part or the seat part with the back part from plastic injection molded or molded parts, which are only to be assembled to complete the seat.

A chair or a standing aid for the office or workshop or the like. has a seat 10, formed by a seat shell 10.1 provided with a seat cushion 10.2, under which a seat support upper part 11 is arranged. The upper part 11 of the seat support and the lower part 1 of the seat support form the seat support, which is supported by a chair column 9 which is fixedly or rollably supported on the floor by conventional and known means and which is inserted with its column head 9.1 into a corresponding receptacle of the lower part 1 of the seat support. The upper part 11 of the seat support is provided with a link 12 which is inserted into a link receptacle 4 designed as a hollow toward the seat 10. The setting 12 and the lower part 1 of the seat support are provided with interacting sliding surfaces 13 and 5, on which the setting 12 is supported relative to the lower part 1 of the seat support. The sliding surfaces 5 of the seat support lower part 1 are arranged next to the cavity of the link receptacle 4. The setting 12 with the seat support upper part 11 with the seat shell 10.1 and possibly with the seat cushion 10.2 can be moved relative to the seat support lower part 1, which enables the seat 10 to be displaced.
These sliding surfaces 13 and 5 also have a curvature around a common center "Z" (FIG. 3b). Interacting sliding surfaces 13 and 5 correspond to each other and guide the backdrop 12 on an arc around this center. This movement leads to a change in the inclination of the seat. The sliding surfaces 13 and 5 are advantageously designed as inclined surfaces arranged on both sides on the side link walls, the incline of which lies transversely to the longitudinal extent to the center of the link or to the outside. The sliding surfaces 5 of the seat support lower part 1 provided next to the link receptacle 4 are arranged correspondingly and have the same curvature, so that their center of curvature coincides with the center of curvature of the sliding surfaces 13 of the link 12 in the center "Z", and also one of the bevels of the sliding surfaces 13 Backdrop 12 corresponding cross slopes. A front stop 2.1 and a rear stop 2.2 limit the swivel range forwards and backwards. The seat inclination can thus be changed within a range "s", the neutral position of the seat being shown in FIG with 10, the seat tilted forward with 10 'and the seat tilted back with 10 "are indicated.
The backdrop 12 lies in the backdrop receptacle 4 in such a way that its side walls guide the side walls of the backdrop 12 which are designed accordingly. The link 12 is provided with at least one inclined sliding surface 13, which cooperates with a sloping surface 5 corresponding to the side wall of the seat support lower part 1 bordering the connecting link receptacle 4. These two sliding surfaces 13 and 5 are in frictional engagement with one another, so that the movability of the link 12 in the link receptacle 4 is dependent on the resulting friction: the mobility can be facilitated by reducing the friction or increased by increasing the friction until it is fixed become.
To change the friction and thus the movability of the link 12 in the link receptacle 4, a locking device cooperating with a locking spindle 8 is provided. For this purpose, a clamping bolt 15 is arranged in a cavity 14 of the link 12 transversely to its longitudinal extent, which has a threaded bore 15.1 for a threaded bolt 8.2 of the locking spindle 8. This locking spindle 8 passes through the seat support lower part 1, which has a hole 1.2 for this purpose, and which is supported with the handwheel 8.1 in the base of a handwheel holder 1.1 against the seat support lower part 1. When the locking spindle 8 is tightened, the link 12 is pulled into the link receptacle 4 via the clamping bolt 15 and the pressure acting on the sliding surfaces 13 and 5 increases. This increases the friction, reduces the movability of the link 12 in the link receptacle 4 and thus also with respect to the seat support lower part 1, up to the fixing of the adjusted seat inclination, which is achieved with high pressure acting on the sliding surfaces 5 and 13. Conversely, releasing the locking spindle 8 releases the link 12, so that the friction is reduced and the link 12 can be pivoted with the seat part 10. The guide combs 6 engage in the area of the inclined sliding surfaces 5 arranged next to the link guide 4 Corresponding guide grooves 13.2 arranged on the sliding surfaces 13 of the upper part 11 of the seat support, so that guidance of the link 12 independently of the bearing of the lateral sliding surfaces 13 and 5 is provided, as can be seen in FIGS. 4a and 4b (the section being part of the setting) 12 covers).
If these sliding surfaces 13 of the link 12 and / or the sliding surfaces 5 of the seat support lower part 1 arranged next to the link holder 4 are provided with a non-slip surface structure, this effect is enhanced. Complementary structures are advantageously provided on both sides, for example as complementary shafts or serrations 13.1 or 5.1 on the inclined surfaces forming the sliding surfaces 13 and 5, which, due to their complementary design, fit into one another in a positive manner when pressed, which eliminates the mobility.
In the two end regions of the link receptacle 4, which are related to the direction of movement of the link 12, the latter has a front guide surface 4.1 and a rear guide surface 4.2, which interact with corresponding surfaces of the link 12 and the seat support upper part 11, on the one hand, to favor their guidance and, on the other hand, to support the guide Limit the freedom of movement of the backdrop 12 in the backdrop mount 4. For this purpose, a rear support 11.2 is provided in the rear area of the seat support upper part 11, which slides on the corresponding rear guide surface 4.2 of the link guide 4, and which runs backwards and supports the pushed back seat support upper part 11. At the front end of this rear guide surface 4.2, the link receptacle 4 attaches up to which the link 12 inserted in this link receptacle 4 can be moved and thus forms the stop 2.2 for the freedom of movement of the backdrop to the rear. The front stop 2.1 is formed by the tongue 3.1 of the link guide 4, which tongue runs out toward the front, against which the link 12 abuts in the position pushed forward. The upper part 11 of the seat support is supported with its front support 11.1 on this tongue 3.1. The support in the front and in the rear area of the seat support upper part 11 on these supports thus prevents "tilting". of the seat support upper part 11 with seat shell 10.1 and seat cushion 10.2 on the seat support lower part 1.
A spring member, advantageously a coil spring 7, is provided between the two for a frictional connection between the lower seat part 1 and the upper seat part 11 with a link 12. This helical spring 7 is supported at one end against the seat support lower part 1, which is to be regarded as being fixed to the frame, and acts at its other end on the seat support upper part 11, which thus always lies in one direction in the setting receptacle 4 of the seat support lower part 1 - in the illustration in the forward direction - is pressed. The coil spring 7 is deformed following the curvature. The spring pressure acts approximately tangentially on the positively interacting corrugations / serrations 5.1 / 13.1 of the curved sliding surfaces 5/13 of the lower seat part 1 or the upper part 11 of the seat support; As a result of the curvature of the helical spring 7, a transverse component of the force transversely to the tangent direction occurs, which after loosening the locking spindle 8 tends to cancel the positive locking of the corrugation / toothing by pressing off the upper part 11 of the seat support, so that a seat adjustment after releasing the locking is facilitated.
In addition to the seat part 10, a chair usually also has a back part 20 which are pivoted to one another by a pivot bearing 30 with the pivot axis 30.1. A base frame with a column 9 and (not shown in detail) roller cross supports this chair, the seat and back parts being connected to the base frame so that they can be rotated and adjusted in height. The seat is formed by a seat shell 10.1 which is connected to the upper part 11 of the seat support and which can be provided with a seat cushion 10.2. The end of the seat support upper part 11 facing the back part 20 is designed as a receiving chamber 16 for a backrest support 21 which is open towards the back part 20. This is formed on both sides by the chamber side walls 17 and by the chamber rear wall 18 connecting them. The chamber side walls 17 are provided with aligned openings 17.1, through which the clamping screw 34 is guided, with which a (still to be explained) Pivot bearing 30, with which the back part 20 is pivoted about the horizontal axis 30.1, can be locked.
The backrest support 21 of the back part 20 with a backrest support foot 21.2 is inserted into this receiving chamber 16. For receiving the backrest bar 25, this has a backrest neck 21.1 projecting beyond the backrest support 21, with a tubular guide chamber formed by the side walls 22, the rear wall 23 and an intermediate wall 23.1, which receives the lower end of the backrest bar 25 and guides it with a form fit. The back support 25.1 is articulated to the upper end of the backrest bar 25 with a joint 25.2.
This lower end of the backrest bar 25 has a toothed bar 26, which interacts with a locking bracket 27 arranged transversely to the backrest bar, the locking lugs 27.1 of which engage between two teeth of the toothed bar 26 and thus fix the set height position of the backrest bar 25 with the back cushion or backrest 25.1. The backrest bar 25 advantageously has a central wall 26.1 in the region of the toothed strip 26, so that a toothed strip 26 can be arranged on each side of this central wall 26.1. The locking bracket 27 cooperating here with the toothed strips 26 is essentially U-shaped and comprises the backrest bar 25 in the form of a fork. The ends of the two fork tines have locking lugs 27.1 which engage between two adjacent teeth of each of the toothed strips 26. The intervention takes place in accordance with the set height of the backrest bar, the corresponding teeth of the toothed strip 26 lying at the height of the locking bracket 27. The latching bracket 27 is slidably guided through a lateral opening 24 in the backrest support 21 and through bracket guides 28 provided in the interior of the guide chamber. and which is held at rest by means of the return springs 29.1 in the locked position (FIG. 9a).
The return springs 29.1 are mounted in spring chambers 29 of the locking bracket 27 and are supported with their free ends against an abutment bar 25.3 of the backrest bar 25. 9b), this pushing-in causes the locking lugs 27.1 to be output from the area of the toothed strip 26, as a result of which the locking between the locking bracket 27 and thus the backrest support 21 and the Backrest bar 25 is lifted and this can be raised or lowered in the guide of the backrest support 21 to adjust the height of the backrest 25.1, the length of the toothed strip 26 determining the area "h".
To form the pivot bearing 30, a partial cylinder 31 with a horizontal axis 30.1 is provided on the inside of the chamber wall 18, which is advantageously molded on. On the outside of its back wall 23, the backrest support has a molding 23.2 with a hollow cylindrical recess 32, the horizontal axis of which coincides with that of the partial cylinder 31 and the radius of which is the same as that of the partial cylinder 31, the hollow cylindrical shape on the rear wall 23 of the molded partial cylinder 31 of the chamber wall 18 is not fully encompassed, so that the backrest support 21 can be pivoted about the horizontal axis 30.1 by an angle determined by this free space relative to the upper part 11 of the seat support. This arrangement forms a slide bearing which forms the pivot bearing 30.
The pivoting of the backrest is determined with a locking device by means of a clamping screw 34. This clamping screw 34 passes through the two clamping screw holes 17.1 in the chamber side walls 17 of the upper part 11 of the seat support and the two circular-shaped elongated holes 33 in the side walls 22 of the backrest support foot 21.2, the curvature of which depends on the distance between the axes the clamping screw 34 is predetermined by the axis of the partial cylinder 31, so that the clamping screw 34 can follow the curvature of the elongated hole 33 when the back part 20 is pivoted. By pivoting the back part 20 can shift a distance "t", whereby. the back support 25.1 adapts to the necessary steepness in any position because of the articulation on the backrest bar 25 by means of the joint 25.2.
Inserts are provided in the chamber side walls 17, of which the guide sleeve 36.1 assigned to the handwheel 34.1 or a clamping lever and the opposite arranged form a screw sleeve 36.2, the threaded bolt of the clamping screw 34 being screwed into the latter and tightening by means of the handwheel 34.1 being permitted. A clamping sleeve 35 between the side walls 22 of the backrest support foot 21.2 makes it possible to exert pressure when the tensioning screw 34 is tightened, without deforming these side walls 22, so that a frictional connection between the inside of the chamber side walls 17 and the outside of the side walls 22 of the backrest support occurs, which is a Swiveling locks.
