Abstract

The adjustable seat consists of a base, back-rest (3) and seat (2). The seat (2) is fixed to the base pedestal by means of support (4). A plate (5) has a fixture rod (52) which fits through the support (4) and has a threaded shaft. A nut (6) is tightened and released for adjusting the position of the seat (2) between the support (4) and the plate (5). The back-rest (3) is fixed to the seat by a connection (7) with locking screw (8) the head of which incorporates an operating knob. The seat (2) consists of a plate (2A) and facing (2B) bolted together with the backrest connection (7) in between.
