Claims (9)
- Vorrichtung zur Überprüfung von Banknoten auf deren Benutzungszustand, insbesondere auf Schmutz und Flecken, welche den Gebrauchswert der Banknoten beeinträchtigen können, mit einer Transporteinrichtung zum Transport von Banknoten entlang eines Transportwegs, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zu beiden Seiten des Transportwegs gleichartige Sensor- und Beleuchtungseinheiten (10, 11, 13; 20, 21, 23) angeordnet sind, wobei die Sensor- und Beleuchtungseinheiten (10, 11, 13; 20, 21, 23) auf eine einzige Stelle fokussiert sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwei Beleuchtungseinheiten (10, 11, 20, 21) unterschiedlicher Wellenlänge bzw. Wellenlängenbereiche vorhanden sind, die alternierend betrieben werden.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sensoren (13, 23) eine linienförmige Anordnung mehrerer einzelner Sensoren oder Sensorarrays sind, die senkrecht zum Transportweg angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine linienförmige Anordnung von Gradientenlinsen (14, 24) vor den Sensoren (13, 23) vorgesehen ist, um eine 1 : 1 Abbildung der zu untersuchenden Banknoten auf die Sensoren (13, 23) abzubilden.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zu Zeiten, zu denen keine Banknote überprüft wird, die Vorrichtung auf Verschmutzung überprüft wird.
- Verfahren zur Überprüfung von Banknoten auf deren Benutzungszustand, insbesondere auf Schmutz und Flecken welche den Gebrauchswert der Banknoten beeinträchtigen können, wobei Banknoten entlang eines Transportwegs transportiert werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Banknoten auf beiden Seiten gleichzeitig an der gleichen Stelle mit Licht gleicher Wellenlänge bzw. gleichen Wellenlängenbereichen und gleicher Intensität beleuchtet wird, wobei zeitlich alternierend Licht unterschiedlicher Wellenlänge bzw. unterschiedlicher Wellenlängenbereiche verwendet wird, und daß das von beiden Seiten jeder Banknote remittierte Licht zur Überprüfung des Benutzungszustands jeder Banknote ausgewertet wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zur Überprüfung des Benutzungszustands jeder Banknote Bereiche der Banknote mit unterschiedlicher Auflösung ausgewertet werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bereiche unterschiedlicher Auflösung jeder Banknote währungs- und stückelungsabhängig festgelegt werden.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zur Überprüfung des Benutzungszustands jeder Banknote eine eindimensionale Auswertung entlang der Transportrichtung der Banknote vorgenommen wird.
