Fixing system for fixing a panel (1) to a base (2), comprising a longitudinally at least partially open tubular element (3) for fixing in a borehole produced through the panel (1) with a drill (9) into the base (2) and a mushroom element (5) for fixing the panel (1), and the end of the mushroom element (5) has at the end facing towards the base (2) an axial opening (6) for accommodating the tubular element (3), characterised in that the mushroom element (5) comprises a temporary positive closure means which by way of a temporary positive closure relative to the tubular element (3) prevents axial displacement of the tubular element (3) through the opening (6) of the mushroom element (5).
    2. Fixing system according to Claim 1, characterised in that an assembly lip (13) which extends into the open radial interior is arranged via a nominal breaking point (12) as temporary positive closure means within the opening (6) which accommodates the tubular element (3).
    3. Fixing system according to Claim 2, characterised in that the nominal breaking point (12) is of such dimension that breaking of the nominal breaking point (12) is not caused by a load which develops whilst the mushroom element (5) is axially pushed into the panel (1) but by the percussive axial load of the drilling tool (9).
    4. Fixing system according to Claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the temporary assembly lip (13) is of peripheral design.
    5. Method for fixing panels by means of a fixing system according to one of the above claims, characterised in that in a first step, whilst the mushroom element (5) is pushed in by means of the drill (9) which is passed through the tubular element (3) and the mushroom element (5), it is pushed into the panel (1) without destroying the temporary positive closure means, and in a second step the temporary positive closure means is destroyed during drilling by means of axial blows on the drill (9) and the tubular element (3) passes through the opening (6) of the mushroom element (5), and in a third step the tubular element (3) is during tensioning axially positively fixed to the mushroom element (5), and in a last step the drill (9) is axially pulled out of the fixed tubular element (3) with thereto fixed mushroom element (5).
