Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a set of packaging and dispensing, according to the preamble of claim 1, equipped with a dispensing tip such as can be used for the distribution of products, including cosmetic, pharmaceutical or dermatological.
  • a dispensing tip such as can be used for the distribution of products, including cosmetic, pharmaceutical or dermatological.
  • Such an assembly can be used in particular for the distribution of a shampoo, a gel, a makeup or care product, or a body milk.
  • Document is known GB-795 304 a device for dispensing a liquid product comprising a dispensing nozzle provided with a closure element elastically retained at a dispensing orifice of said device. This device describes the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • in sealed support designate at least one seal to the product. As will be seen later, it is possible to provide a micro-leakage between the closure member and the seat, so as to allow a return of air.
  • the closure element contributes to a good preservation of the product and allows a cleaner distribution of the product.
  • the fact that the opening of the outlet orifice can be controlled and controlled by a mechanical stress exerted from outside the nozzle, that is to say otherwise than, from the inside of the tip, under the pressure of the product allows better control of the distribution of the latter, especially when it comes to the distribution of localized way.
  • the user can control the flow rate with which the product leaves the container by exerting a greater or lesser pressure on the deformable walls of the container.
  • the gesture is particularly original.
  • said elastically deformable means consist of at least a part of the mounting element.
  • the elastic deformation may be an elastic elongation or bending of all or part of the mounting member.
  • this portion of elastomeric material will be produced.
  • this portion will be made using non-elastomeric thermoplastic materials, including polypropylenes, the deforming portion being then configured to have the required elastic bending characteristics.
  • the elastic means consist of an auxiliary means, in particular a spring.
  • said closure element is designed so as to be able to move away from the seat in response to the displacement of said closure element in engagement on a surface adapted to receive the product to be dispensed, in particular in a movement substantially parallel to said surface.
  • a closure element formed of a ball the orifice is released by rolling the ball bearing in the palm of the hand, which forces the ball to cross all or part of the edge defining the seat in which opens the outlet orifice.
  • the outlet orifice is disengaged in whole or in part, which allows the product contained in the container to flow under the effect of its weight, and / or under the effect of a pressure that can be exerted on the walls of the container.
  • the quantity dispensed can thus be controlled more precisely.
  • the closure element in this case the ball, can then be used to massage the surface on which the product is to be applied, so as to promote penetration.
  • the closure member is moved from its seat, using a finger of the hand holding the container on which is mounted the nozzle, the pressurization of the product via the flexible walls of the container, being, if necessary, achieved through to the other hand.
  • the element can be configured other than as a ball.
  • the essential thing is that its shape allows, on the one hand the "sealed" closure of the outlet orifice of the tip, on the other hand that a mechanical stress can be exerted on it, from outside the and, finally, in response to this constraint, that the closure member can move relative to the seat so as to clear at least part of the orifice.
  • said closure element comprises at least one spherical surface portion, said seat being formed of a recess into which said outlet orifice opens.
  • the shape of the seat is chosen so that the latter, in combination with the closure element, seals for the product, in particular on an annular zone to said outlet orifice.
  • said closure element advantageously forms a complete sphere.
  • the surface defined by the seat and on which will press the closure element is a function of the required sealing, and the desired ease of opening.
  • a closure element in the form of a ball it is advantageous to make the seat in the form of a cap hemispherical to the corresponding dimensions, the essential being that the ball can be moved from its seat by forcing it from the outside.
  • the seat is of frustoconical shape.
  • the seat is formed essentially of a free edge, annular delimiting the outlet orifice of the nozzle, the section of the free edge being chosen according to the diameter of the closing element so that it, in the absence of stress, rests stably on said seat.
  • the mounting element may be made, in whole or in part, of a material chosen from thermoplastic or crosslinked elastomers, in particular Silicones, Nitriles, natural or synthetic latices, EPDMs, polyurethanes, polypropylene and polypropylene mixtures.
  • SBS, SEBS, or EPDM very low density polyethylenes, mixtures based on polyesters glycols (TPU) or polyether glycols (PEBA and COPE), polyvinyl chloride soft (PVC).
  • TPU polyesters glycols
  • PEBA and COPE polyether glycols
  • PVC polyvinyl chloride soft
  • such a material has a hardness of between 20 Shore D and 40 Shore D, and preferably between 40 Shore A and 75 Shore A. Its elasticity can range from 0.5 to 5 MPa, and preferably from , 8 to 2 MPa (tensile stress at 100% elongation). These same materials can be used also for the realization of the closure element.
  • the mounting element can be obtained by molding with the closure element, of identical or different materials, compatible with each other, that is to say, able, at the molding temperature, to form between them chemical bonds.
  • the closure element is not necessarily made of elastomeric material. By way of example, mention may be made of polyethylenes or polypropylenes.
  • the mounting member may comprise a connecting member whose end can be secured to the dispensing tip by gluing, welding, or mechanical attachment means, including snap or harpooning. • the means ensuring the attachment of the mounting element on the tip may themselves be configured so as to be elastically deformable, in particular by bending, so that they provide all or part, the elastic return of the closing element on its seat.
  • means are provided to allow attachment of said tip on the container containing the product to be dispensed.
  • the dispenser tip can be screwed, slammed, welded or glued to the container.
  • a removable cap may be provided for, especially during transport, prevent the closure element from moving away from its seat and causes an accidental release of product. Thus, in the closed position, such a cap may be supported on the closure element so as to prevent inadvertent movement.
  • the applicator tip may occupy with respect to the container, a so-called "transport” position in which, even in the case of an inadvertent overpressure inside the container, the product can not go out.
  • transport Such means are well known, and operate for example on the basis of one or more orifices which can be selectively facing each other.
  • Such an assembly can be used for the packaging and dispensing of a cosmetic product, especially a hair product, solar, care, or personal hygiene.
  • the assembly 1 represented in FIG. 1 comprises a receptacle 2, one end of which is closed by a bottom 3, and the other end of which forms a neck 4 terminating in a free edge delimiting an opening 5.
  • the neck 4 comprises on its outer surface a thread 6, adapted to cooperate with a corresponding thread 7 provided on an inner surface of a dispensing nozzle 10.
  • the container 2 is obtained by molding a thermoplastic material, such as polyethylene or polypropylene.

  • the cylindrical skirt 11 extends, over a substantial part of the height of the nozzle 10, by a frustoconical portion 12, whose section decreases in the opposite direction to the cylindrical portion 11.
  • the frustoconical portion 12 ends with a outlet orifice 13 opening into an inverted frustoconical portion 14, of low height, which, as will be seen in more detail later, forms a seat for a ball 15, adapted to selectively close said outlet orifice 13.
  • the dispensing nozzle 10 can be obtained by molding a thermoplastic material of the same type as that used for producing the container 2.
  • the mounting member 30 comprises a connecting member 16 having a first end integral with the closure member 15.

  • Another end of the connecting member 16 is connected to a loop 17 of polypropylene, intended to be hooked on a fastening element 18, formed by molding inside the frustoconical portion 12.
  • the ball 15 rests on the seat 14, and sealingly closes the outlet orifice 13 of the dispensing nozzle 10. In this position, the connecting member 16 is stretched partially so as to, by elastic return forcing the ball 15 to bear on the seat 14.
  • a micro leakage can be provided between the seat 14 and the closure element 15, so as to effect a return of air when the closure element is in position on its seat.
  • Such micro leakage can be achieved by providing the seat 14 and / or the closure member 15 with a suitable surface condition. Alternatively, this air intake can be done only when closing
  • the connecting member 16, the ball 15, and the catching loop 17 can be obtained by molding a single elastomeric material.
  • the ball 15 and the fastening loop 17 are made of a first non-elastomeric material while the connecting member 16 is made of elastomer, the assembly can be obtained by bi-injection.
  • the various elements making up the mounting element and the closing element can be made separately, and assembled by bonding, welding, or any other mechanical fastening means.
  • the assembly illustrated in Figure 1 also comprises a removable cap 19, able, in the closed position, to ensure the immobilization of the ball 15 on its seat 14, so as to avoid the accidental distribution of product during transport.
  • the cap 19 forms a recess 20 of profile corresponding to the profile of the ball 15.
  • the user slightly presses the ball 15 in the palm of his hand, and prints a lateral movement in a direction substantially parallel to the surface of the hand.
  • the ball 15, thus constrained in support in the hollow of the hand, moves laterally with respect to the seat 14, which partly releases the orifice 13.
  • This movement of the ball 15 is accompanied by an elastic elongation of the ball.
  • the user exerts pressure on the lateral walls of the container body, so as to cause the product to exit under pressure.
  • the latter flows naturally under the effect of its weight.
  • the connecting member 16 exerts a force able to return the ball in sealing engagement on the seat 14 so as to close the orifice 13.
  • the ball 15 can be used as a massage member of the surface on which the product is to be applied so as to promote penetration.
  • the outlet of the product can be caused also simply by exerting pressure on the flexible walls of the container.
  • the product thus pressurized exerts sufficient pressure to take off the ball 15 from its seat 14, and out evenly around the ball.
  • the mounting element 30 comprises a fastening element consisting of a cross-shaped, semi-rigid element 21.
  • the cross-shaped element 21 is integral with one end of the elastic connection 16.
  • the other end of the connecting member 16 is integral with the ball 15, made of a material identical to the material forming the fastening member.
  • the set is formed by bi-injection.
  • the branches of the cross member 21 because of their ability, in mounted position, to bend (in a direction opposite to their direction of deflection during their assembly) add to the elastic deformability of the mounting element 30, the essential part however, results from the elastic deformability of the connecting member 16.
  • the elasticity results from the presence of a spring disposed between the member 21 and the connecting member 16, made of rigid material, said spring being erased during of the introduction, through a stop.
  • the hooking means 25 of the mounting element 30 consists of a semi-rigid element which is snapped, glued or welded inside a hollow recess. on the inner surface of the mouthpiece.
  • the connecting member 16, connecting the attachment means 25 to the closure element 15, is made of elastomer.
  • the attachment of the ball 15 to the tip 10 is by means of a harpoon member 23, which upon insertion into the tip 10, is adapted to take a reduced clutter position until it arrives in a zone of larger section. At this moment, by elastic return, the harpoon 23 unfolds and secures the mounting member 30 and the closure member 15 relative to the dispenser tip 10.
  • the member 23, and the ball 15, are made of polypropylene or polyethylene.
  • the connecting member 16 is made of nitrile elastomer.
  • the closure member 15 is made of silicone elastomer, and is formed of a truncated sphere, traversed at its center by a channel 34.
  • the mounting member 30 consists of a connecting member 16, one end of which is connected to a harpoon element 31 having at least two legs spaced angularly.
  • the other end of the connecting member 16 is integral with a sphere portion 33 of such shape that in position mounted, it performs the complement of the truncated portion of the closure member 15.
  • the connecting member 16 comprises a portion 32 of larger section, adapted to be mounted tightly in the channel 34, so as to immobilize the element mounting member 30 on the closure member 15.
  • the mounting member 30 is made of one-piece polypropylene molding.
  • the mounting member 30 is first assembled with the closure member 15. To do this, the legs of the harpoon 31 are engaged within the channel 34. The free ends of the legs of the harpoon 31 fold back in the direction of the connecting member 16, until complete crossing of the channel 34. After complete crossing of the channel 34, the tabs elastically resume their maximum deployment position. The translational movement of the mounting member 30 relative to the closure member, continues until complete depression of the clamping portion 32 inside the channel 34. The assembly thus mounted is then positioned on the To this end, the legs of the harpoon 31 are engaged within the outlet passage of the mouthpiece. In doing so, when crossing the reduced section portion of the dispenser tip 10, the legs of the harpoon 31 fold back towards the connecting member 16. By reaching the portion of wider section 22, the legs of the harpoon 31 unfold and provide irreversible attachment of the assembly formed of the mounting member 30 and the closure member 15 on the tip 10.
  • the harpoon tabs 31 When dispensing the product, in response to a mechanical stress exerted on the closure member 15, the harpoon tabs 31 resiliently bend in a direction opposite to their direction of deflection during assembly. The closure member 15 moves relative to the seat 14 so as to allow the exit of the product. When the stress ceases, the legs of the harpoon generate a force able to resiliently return the closing element in the closed position on the seat 14.
  • the mounting member 30 and the closure member 15 are integrally molded, made of thermoplastic elastomer.
  • the mounting element 30 comprises a U-shaped portion 41 capable of being fixed, in particular by welding, to the end of the endpiece 10 delimiting the outlet orifice 13.
  • An inner skirt 42 of the U-shaped portion extends over the entire height of a passage of smaller section 43 of the nozzle 10.
  • the skirt 42 is integral with a first end of a connecting member 16, connecting the U-shaped portion to the closure member 15.
  • the closure member 15 is positioned correctly with respect to the mounting member 30, as illustrated by the arrow F of Figure 8B, the passage of the ball 15 inside the skirt 42 being made possible due to the elasticity of the materials.
  • the operation is comparable to that of Figure 5.
  • FIG. 9 differs from that of FIGS. 4A and 4B in that the mounting element 30 and the closing element 15 are traversed by an axial passage 44, capable of allowing the insertion of a tool in the form of a needle, intended to facilitate assembly of the assembly on the endpiece 10.
  • the closure element 15, and the mounting element 30 are obtained by molding a polypropylene, the elastic deformability resulting essentially from the elastic deflection of the legs of the cross member 21, when a stress is exerted on the closure element 15.
