Definitions
- the invention relates to a cooling system, in particular for a Motor vehicle - according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Electronic assemblies are increasingly being used in motor vehicles. Since the electronics generate heat loss during operation, the electronic assemblies must be cooled. Internal combustion engines as the drive of motor vehicles are also known to generate considerable heat loss. A cooler designed for the drive motor reaches temperatures of 110 - 120 ° C. Such high temperatures are unsuitable for cooling electrical assemblies.
- thermoly sensitive component is to be cooled this is usually done by using a parallel (Second) circuit is established, as shown in FIG. 3. From this are the two structurally separate circuits I and II apparent, as well as the associated additional effort Units.
- an electronic component to be cooled is here for example, an inverter.
- a second pump must also have a second one Coolant tank are used.
- DE 43 27 281 C1 proposes aggregates that are mutually related need different cooling temperature levels, each assign a separate coolant circuit, such as. B. 1 of the patent specification mentioned, are two cooling circuits 1 and 2 through the common Heat exchanger cooler (10) separated from each other.
- the Heat exchanger cooler (10) is a technically complex Component because it does not just provide a thermal Link between the two circles 1 and 2, but also ensures heat exchange with the Ambient air using a cooler fan (22).
- a separate circulation pump for each cooling circuit required. From all of this it is evident that to attain two different cooling temperatures a pretty great effort must be driven.
- the object of the present invention is a relatively simple and therefore inexpensive cooling circuit arrangement for two different temperature levels.
- the solution according to the invention a uniform Cooling circuit arrangement in which the electronic component to be cooled ⁇ z. B. an inverter) in a secondary circuit is integrated.
- either the Branch I ⁇ internal combustion engine circuit> or branch II (Inverter circuit) can be operated as required. Since both cooling branches (circuit I and II) over the Circulation pump on the one hand and the clock valve on the other are connected to each other, only one only expansion tank required.
- Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show two different ones Embodiments of the cooling system according to the invention each based on a block diagram;
- Fig. 3 shows a conventional structure, also as Block diagram.
- the conventionally constructed cooling system 2 'shown in FIG. 3 consists of two cooling circuits I' and II 'which are completely separate from one another.
- Each of the two circuits I 'and II' has all the aggregates required for operation: a cooler 4, 6, a circulation pump 8, 10, a compensating tank 12, 14 and at least one component that generates heat loss.
- the cooling jacket of the internal combustion engine 16 and the cooling jacket of a generator / electric motor 18 are located in the circuit I '.
- the engine cooler 4 is an air / liquid heat exchanger, to which a fan fan 20 is assigned.
- the units are connected to one another by pipe or hose lines 22a, the cooling jacket of the internal combustion engine 16, the cooling jacket of the stator 18, the cooler 4 and the circulation pump 8 forming the closed cooling circuit I '.
- the circuit II ' comprises the cooler 6, the circulation pump 10, the cooling jacket of an inverter 24 generating heat loss and the expansion tank 14. Inverter 24, cooler 6 and pump 10 here form the closed cooling circuit II' connected by pipe or hose lines 22b.
- the embodiment of the The cooling system 2 according to the invention has only one Cooling circuit, each with a heat loss producing component in two parallel to each other arranged branches I. II is integrated.
- the common one Branch of the cooling system 2 has a circulation pump 8. about a three-way valve 26 branches the cooling circuit on the two branches I and II.
- Branch I has a cooler 4 in addition to fan fan 20, the cooling jacket one Electric motor ⁇ Stators) 18 and the cooling jacket one Internal combustion engine 16.
- the aggregates listed are Pipes leading through coolant in a conventional manner or hoses 22 connected together. On Expansion tank 12 can be at any point the pipe / hose system 22 may be connected.
- the one Cooler 4 associated fan fan 20 can be put into operation as required.
- the branch II has another (auxiliary) cooler 6 and Cooling jacket of an electronic component (e.g. one Inverter) 24.
- an electronic component e.g. one Inverter
- Through a thermostatic Control of the three-way valve 26 can be used in both Branches I, II of the cooling system 2 different Temperature levels can be set.
- FIG. 2 shows a modification of that in FIG. 1 illustrated cooling system 2.
- Fig. 1 is in a common branch Circulation pump 8, while in the two via a three-way valve 26 branches I, II formed each have at least one Component 18, 24 generating heat loss is integrated.
- branch I is instead of the sequence: cooler 4 - stator 18 motor 16 the result: stator 18 - motor 16 - cooler 4 intended.
- Expansion tank 12 connected.

Abstract
