- An adjustable flag hinge for doors or windows, having a sash hinge part (2) for attachment to the sash, on which sash hinge part (2) there is arranged a downwardly projecting hinge pin (3), and having a frame hinge part (1) for attachment to the frame, which frame hinge part (1) comprises an axially open, cylindrical pivot bearing (6), for accommodating the lower portion of the hinge pin (3), and a threaded portion located therebelow and substantially aligned with the pivot bearing (6), into which threaded portion a threaded plug (12) is screwed for height adjustment of the sash hinge part (2), the lower end of the hinge pin (3) being supported on the threaded plug (12) via arched supporting surfaces resting against one another and the hinge pin (3) being guided in a bearing bushing (5) accommodated in the pivot bearing (6), characterised in that the bearing bushing (5) is closed in the axial direction by a lower closing wall (7), the side of which facing the hinge pin (3) forms an arched supporting surface (8) complementary to the arch of the lower pin end.
- A flag hinge according to claim 1, characterised in that the side of the closing wall (7) facing the threaded plug (12) forms an arched supporting surface (9) complementary to the arch of a supporting surface (11) of the threaded plug (12).
- A flag hinge according to claim 2, characterised in that both supporting surfaces (8, 9) of the closing wall (7) are arched in the manner of spherical caps and the supporting surfaces (10 and 11) on the lower pin end and the threaded plug (12) are each arched concavely.
- A flag hinge according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pivot bearing (6) comprises an axially extending groove, in which there engages a radial projection (13) on the bearing bushing (5).
- A flag hinge according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bearing bushing (5) consists of plastics.
- A flag hinge according to claim 5, characterised in that a metal ball is inserted into the closing wall of the bearing bushing.
- A flag hinge according to claim 6, characterised in that the metal ball is moulded around with the plastics material of the bearing bushing.
- A flag hinge according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the bearing bushing consists of metal with self-lubricating properties.
- A flag hinge according to claim 8, characterised in that a ball of hardened metal is inserted in the closing wall.
- A flag hinge according to claim 5, characterised in that the bearing bushing (5) is produced in one piece with the closing wall (7) by the injection moulding process.
- A flag hinge according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the closing wall (7) of the bearing bushing (5) comprises at least one opening (14).
